Nigel Uno (a.k.a. Numbuh 1) was sitting in his room out in space. He thought to himself. Back on Earth it's almost Christmas. Man, I wish I could be there. Nigel sat there all sad. Then he realized something. I will be home for Christmas, even if it's in my dreams. Tears streamed down Nigel's face like a river. He then looked at the clock for Earth time. It was 10:00 on Earth where his friends lived. Nigel decided to go to bed.
The next day Kuki woke up all excited and happy. (FYI usual Kuki for you) She went to the kitchen and sat at the table only to find Wally there sipping a cup of orange juice.
"Hi, Wally!" Kuki said. Wally looked at her, smiled, and took another sip of his orange juice. Kuki wasn't gonna give up though.
"You want me to help you with your list?" Kuki asked Wally. Wally sighed. To get her to shut up, he had to reply.
"I told you Kuki, I don't give a crud what I get for Christmas!" Wally shouted. Just then, Kacey walked in carrying Toby.
"Hi guys," Kacey said sitting down next to Wally. "I'm inviting two friends over today and I want you to behave." Wally quickly realized Kacey meant just him. He grumbled then walked out.
"Who put bugs in his undies?" Kuki asked Kacey. Kacey just shrugged and finished Wally's orange juice.
About a couple hours later Kacey and Abby were playing 'Monkey in the Middle' with Toby. But then, they heard some music coming from Kuki's room.
"Numbuh 5 wants to know why Kuki's room is playing music." Abby said right after catching the ball.
"I say we go check it out!" Kacey said. Toby barked a couple times. Abby looked at her funny.
"You know what they say, Kacey. Curiosity killed the cat." Abby said tossing the ball back to Kacey. Bt Toby caught it and began to wag his tail. Kacey laughed.
"I know Abby. But, I ain't no cat." Kacey said walking towards Kuki's room. Abby sighed and followed. When they got to Kuki's room they peeked through Kuki's curtain. Kuki cranked up the stereo and began to sing a song.
Last Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day you gave it away. This year, to save my from tears, I'm gonna give it to someone- There was a pause. Kacey and Abby looked at each other. SPEACIAL! Kuki shouted at the top of her lungs. It scared Toby, he bounced backwards like a ball.
"I didn't know she could sing!" Abby looked at Kacey. Toby started barking. Kacey quickly put her hand over his mouth. After watching Kuki sing they walked in her room. Kacey decided to be funny.
"Hey Kuki! Nice singing!" Kacey announced while making quite an entrance.
"Ah!" Kuki screamed. "You guys watched?" Kuki then snarled at them as if Wally broke another Rainbow Monkey.
"Yes, Kuki calm down." Abby said friendly. "We were playing Monkey in the Middle with Toby and we heard music. Then we watched you sing. You have a wonderful singing voice." Abby's friendliness calmed down Kuki. Then, something in Kacey's mind clicked.
"Um, Kuki," Kacey asked looking at a piece of paper with an orange W on it. "Who was that song for?" Kuki started to freak out. She grabbed the orange W paper and hid it.
"Listen," Kuki couldn't tell Kacey a secret. She'd blow it in less than 5 minutes. "I'm entering the Kids Next Door Christmas Talent Show!" Kuki then paused. What had she just said? Kacey and Abby looked at each other.
"The Kids Next Door Christmas Talent Show? Oh, come on, Kuki!" Kacey shouted. "How could you enter-" Kacey then realized something. Abby sighed and then did a face palm. She knew she was gonna be dragged into another crazy scheme.
"Yes! You should do the Talent Show!" Kacey said to Kuki. Abby's jaw dropped. "It would be perfect!" Kuki wondered if this was a good idea. Then she agreed.
"OK, I was going to anyway, heh heh!" Kuki said making a creepy looking smile. Toby began to jump around like something was wrong. Kacey smiled like she had done something good. Abby sighed again as they left Kuki's room. Kuki let out a BIG sigh of relief.
"What the heck, girl?" Abby said to Kacey. Kacey gave her one of those 'I've got everything under control' looks.
"Well, you know how Wally has a HUGE crush on Kuki?" Kacey asked Abby. Abby nodded as if Kacey was crazy. "Well, I think we should have them sing together!" Abby looked at Kacey. She then sighed.
"You mean, like a duet?" Abby asked. Toby hopped into Kacey's arms. Kacey looked at Abby straight into her eyes.
"No, I mean a potato. Yes a duet!" Kacey shouted. She then looked around to see if Kuki had heard.
"Well, then." Abby said. "You didn't have to be hurtful." Kacey and Abby walked towards Wally's room to see if he could sing.
