To be frank, the kids were having a bad day. THey just lost their best new friend, the monkeys shoved them off Kuki's legs about 15 feet up in the air- so that hurt a little, there wasn't much of a chance for them getting the wicked witches broom, and they were lost in the middle of a VERY creepy forrest. Things weren't exactly going as planned.

Kuki sat in a very hard chair inside what seemed to be the witches bed room. Thick spell books lay everywhere, with titles ranging from "Ways to get boys without using Arsenix" to "150 rather good reasons to incenarate people" Off to the side was a big, clack, canopy bed. In the center of the room was a glowing, green orb the size of a beach ball, sitting atop an oak wood pedastal. The room had a very "Ghost Hunters" feel. Creepy, period. Kuki was about to pick up a book with the title "Rainbow Monkey obbsessions, exactly how far is 'Too Far'?"
when the large paneled door flew open, revealing the Witch of the West on the other side. The green girl smirked wickedly.
"So, are you ready to give me those ruby slippers?" she asked.
"But I've tried!" Kuki cried out. "They won't come off!"
"THEN TRY HARDER!" the witch screamed, slamming her fist down on a table.
Rushing up to a cabinet, she flung open the doors and removed a large hour glass. She turned it upside down and let the golden grains fall.
"You have untill the timer runs out to give me those slippers," announced the Wicked Witch. "Or I roast your little weasel rotissary style!"
And with that, she exited the room.
"Oh Toto, what am I going to do?" Kuki asked.
Toto gave her a "How the chiz should I know?" look, then scampered off to leave smothing unpleasant in the witches bed. Kuki sighed and tried once more to remove the shoes, but to no avail. Hoisting herself up off the uncomfortable chair, she went over to inspect the myserious glowing orb. It shone green when she aproched it. Suddenly, a smokey substance started swirling inside it like a much too familiar twister. When it cleared, Kuki saw an image of the witch!
"Looking through my things, are you?" the image seethed. "Touch one more thing and I'll give you an eternal acne curse!"
The ball went back to a dull green as the head disolved. Kuki went back to the chair, sat down, then put her head in her hands. Where were her friends when she needed them?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The golden grains slowley dripped untill they all collected at the bottem. But by that time, Kuki had a plan. Once again, the door flung open. The witch, folled by several animitronic soldier Rainbow Monkeys marched in.
"Give me those slippers!" ordered the evil witch.
"I can't!" Kuki cried, trying deperatly to remove the sippers.
"Then say good-bye to your little weasel!"
The gaurds snatched up Toto and started to leave.
"Toto, now!" yelled Kuki. "Go find the others!"
Toto squirmed out of the robots grip and fled down the stairs, out the door, over the drawbridge, and into the forrest. He needed to find help before it was too late!
