2NE1′s leader CL, who is famous for her unique eye makeup, gave some tips on putting on mascara in a commercial for Maybelline New York MEGAEYES VOLUM’EXPRESS SMUDGEPROOF.

In the video, which was filmed during the commercial photoshoot, CL revealed that she had been a fan of the product even before it was launched in Korea. She even purchased the item herself while she was visiting the United States.

The idol, who will soon make her debut in United States, gave some tips on applying mascara, which was especially aimed for girls like her who love eye make up.

“I am a person who always apply mascara for both my upper and lower eye lashes. I apply the bigger volume brush for the upper eyelashes and use the smaller or micro brush for the lower one. It will bring a vivid and fresh eye look,” she said.

Meanwhile, CL is now staying in the United States to prepare her upcoming debut as a soloist with her US management, Scooter Braun.
