There is no information I can find yet as to the meaning of this first episode I can say that I am very happy it's coming in January and not in March as had been said in the past.
From the title we can guess that someone on the team gets fired before they solve the first big case. However it seems unlikely it would be Chuck because he's back to being the only Intersect and he has a whole new set of skills to go with it. That leaves Casey and Sarah.
Or I could be all wrong and the pink slip could be for Emmett. Someone has eluded to Buy More coming back into the picture, which makes no sense what with all four of the major people quitting last season.
But who knows was twists and turns will come out of the twisted minds of the writers.
