What's your favorite Christian Bale acting moment?

Your favorite scene from his body of work that impressed you the most?

To me, even after seeing amazing performances of Mr. Bale as an adult, I think out of all his acting moments this one on Empire of the Sun will always be my favorite, his acting being the one thing that provides an emotional connection with the audience.
