I like some love/hate romances, but only when it's not obvious that the two who hate each other are eventually going to fall in love. And usually the ones I like involve a lot more hate than they do love, for some reason.
The girly girl hating/tomboy vs girly girl thing gets on my nerves, because it always favors the smart tough tomboy and puts the girly girl as a dumb and shallow bimbo who's a bitch just because. In a way it's sorta insulting, like it's saying girls are bad just for liking dresses or dolls and not really because of important things like personality or so. (and you never see a tomboy being attacked for her tomboyishness, unless it's something like the parents complaining only for her to win them in the end).
It was all a dream is terrible but i see that more people nowadays are not using that cliche anymore, so i'm ok with that. but yeah, it's just bad and lazy and feels like you've been ripped-off at the end of the story.
And the man in charge is just pretentious and manipulative and really hypocritical- like how does this movie who lives off taking money off people have a message about how we should stand up to the guys in charge? it's just phony.
but this one wins if only because it's so common and NOBODY seems to notice the problems it has.
