Most of these, but this one drives me crazy! Such a lazy way to get out of having to explain everything.

I like some love/hate romances, but only when it's not obvious that the two who hate each other are eventually going to fall in love. And usually the ones I like involve a lot more hate than they do love, for some reason.

^Yeah love/hate romances can be done well. But so often it's like, the couple starts off hating each other then out of nowhere *boom* they magically fall in love. But the big reason I hate the cliche is, it's over used and often lazily written.

I'm a sucker for romance so I will admit that sometimes an unnecessary romance is my guilty pleasure. A love/hate relationship, if done correctly, can be great, and actually the from enemies-to friends-to lovers trope is one my favorites -IF done correctly, I repeat. One dimensional characters in general frustrate me, but especially when they are sexist stereotypes, then I absolutely loathe them. But what I really really can't stand is when you have both a stereotypical tomboy and a stereotypical girly girl, AND they hate each other.

Haha, four of those are also on my list. :)

The girly girl hating/tomboy vs girly girl thing gets on my nerves, because it always favors the smart tough tomboy and puts the girly girl as a dumb and shallow bimbo who's a bitch just because. In a way it's sorta insulting, like it's saying girls are bad just for liking dresses or dolls and not really because of important things like personality or so. (and you never see a tomboy being attacked for her tomboyishness, unless it's something like the parents complaining only for her to win them in the end).

It was all a dream is terrible but i see that more people nowadays are not using that cliche anymore, so i'm ok with that. but yeah, it's just bad and lazy and feels like you've been ripped-off at the end of the story.

And the man in charge is just pretentious and manipulative and really hypocritical- like how does this movie who lives off taking money off people have a message about how we should stand up to the guys in charge? it's just phony.

but this one wins if only because it's so common and NOBODY seems to notice the problems it has.

AudreyFreak picked 10. Tomboy vs Girly girl/ girl hating :
though Love/Hate Romances is close, and a lot of these do annoy me, I pick this one because it's, well, hateful. the others aren't usually used to hate on anyone (except for the girly characters portrayed as one dimensional and dumb but I think that's related to the girly girl hating thing).

I hate those kind of characters because there is nothing interesting about them and they are usually really mean and unlikeable and that's usually all there is to them so that's why I don't like those kind of characters
