While I've never been one to spend hours thinking about who is the most beautiful character ever, I do admit I have my favorites in terms of beauty. I might have done this list, but I'd prefer to do it now again now that I've got my favorites cleared out. I add things like likability and personality aside from physical beauty in terms of how beautiful I find the character.

Most of these choices are in between conventional and unconventional, but it's mostly into what I personally find attractive. Remember that this list is subjective and it's all my opinion, so don't get mad if your faves aren't...

I think I did this list a long time ago, when I first joined Fanpop, but since then my opinion on things has slightly differed. Some female characters have stayed on their permanent spot, while others have been dropped off the line. Some new have been added.

What is consistent in this list, though, is that in general i love female characters, especially the animated ones. When well written, I often find them to be very interesting and appealing characters (that may be due to me being a woman, but I don't want to follow cliched gendered stereotypes).

This list may go into personal territories...

Earlier this week an idea randomly popped into my head that I should make an article on characters with the prettiest eyes and here it is! It's made up of different eyes and unlike my beautiful eyes list with famous people that mostly has guys, this list mostly has has ladies. (Probably because they use many different shapes for women).

10) Apple Bloom

I was thinking about putting Apple Bloom as a usual pony, but I thought it would only be fair to use humans and she IS human in the movies. Ha! Anyway I love Apple Bloom's eyes because not only are they orange which is a cool and unusual color...

If you've read any of my articles, then I'm sure you know that I almost always prefer the "underdog" characters over the "popular" ones. Well my favorite heroines list is no exception. It wasn't exactly easy to think of my ten favorite heroines. I mentioned earlier, in my Top Ten Animated Heroes artices, that I've always liked the heroes better than the heroines. So, in some ways it was even harder to come up with my top ten heroines since most of my favorite female characters are either sidekicks or villainesses. Hope you enjoy it!

#10 Tigress (Kung Fu Panda)
Kung Fu Panda is my favorite Dreamworks...

20. TIANA
The ambitious workaholic
The ambitious workaholic

Tiana's looks are ok! I mean for the majority of the movie I was not really fond of her physical appearance. She has nice eyes, but I don't really like her hair. Overall I liked her with Charlotte's blue dress and with the green dress with lillies, but apart from that I found her looks to be quite unmemorizible.

19. SNOW WHITE
The perfect damsel
The perfect damsel

Ok, so Snow White is cute. But that's about it. I would have loved to be able to put her higher on my list, but the fact is that she is not gorgeous or beautiful,...

Ok, so I already did a getting to know me article on the Disney Princess spot a couple months ago, but it doesn't really say that much about me, and the way of writing these on this fan page is absolutely awesome. So let's get started!

My name is Darby-Adele. My friends call me Darby, at least they would if I had any friends. I'm 13 years old, and my birthday is on March 29. I live in the USA, in Phoenix, Arizona to be exact. I love English and History, and they're the only two classes I genuinely enjoy at school. My hobbies include baking, drawing, acting, reading, writing, swimming, biking,...

Thank you everyone for participating! I was inspired by BelleAnastasia's articles to make one like this myself. Though it's not the same thing, I don't do creative collages but I hope you guys will still like this! I was going to write about the placements but I later didn't see the need of doing so for this, I'll just read your comments whether you agree with this list or not. What I like about it is that the animated females don't need to have perfect traits to be included, it is about looks but other attributes can make a character sexy. Some who made the list don't usually get a lot of recognition for their looks which is refreshing.

Introverted Feeling (Fi): Sally is independent, and guided by an internal set of values that lead her to oppose the idea of adopting Christmas in Halloweentown, even though the man she loves is doing it, along with the whole town. She doesn’t present a rational argument as to why he shouldn’t do it, but rather is against it because it just feels wrong to her, though she doesn’t impose her opinion on others. She doesn’t like the lifestyle Dr. Finkelstein has forced on her, but she still cares for him, and rebels quietly when she can’t take any more. Sally has trouble telling...

I thought with the many claims of lack of representation in children's films as a PoC I should take it upon myself to bring some underrated movies of different cultures to light. Granted not all of these are necessarily children's films, but they are all animated and I personally think every kid should see them.

I have each ethnicity I could think of and animated movies where that ethnicity is well-represented. I want to build on this so if you don't see your ethnicity here please tell me, I want as many movies as I can get with as many different walks-of-life! These depictions are supposed...

10. Roxanne
It really bothers me how Roxanne doesn't make an appearance in the sequel, not even a mention UGH let's never take into account Disney sequels. Anyway, I can't pinpoint down the reasons as to why I love Roxanne. I just love her personality I guess; she's kind, forgiving and understanding.

9. Anastasia
This placement may have to do with my bias for feisty and spunky heroines but I remember the times when I needed to watch Anastasia everyday to get through life so it feels right having her here lol. The movie just has something special about it so the main protagonist is somewhat...

I wasn't sure if I should've posted this on the Disney club or the Childhood Animated Heroines club but I finally decided on this one because it concentrates more on the heroines' beauty. Plus I've already made my prettiest Non-Disney females article on here, so it's kind of a part 2 lol. Now I wouldn't want to leave out my Disney girls ;) including Non-Canon!

10. The Bimbettes
It was hard to choose between Babette and the Bimbettes... but the Bimbettes is a trio, so Babette didn't make the list because she got outnumbered lol. I like that the trio act silly 24/7, yet still have beautiful faces...

This wasn't an easy article to write. Since, I'm not much of writer to begin with, also my tastes are always changing. I know my list is... um... "different" to say the least. In fact some might say it's down right WEIRD. As I'm sure you've noticed, I'm not really into the "classic" and "popular" characters. Anyway hope you find my favorites interesting.

#10 Lightening McQueen and Sally
(Cars)
They're one of the most complex, and interesting Pixar couples, in my opinion. I love how he's a rich city boy without a care and she a girl who ran away to country to get away from guys like him. She teaches...

It took me a long time to get this all put together. While I was make this list my heart just completely broke. It was really hard deciding what scenes would be included and which wouldn't. There's a lot of sad moments that unfortunately didn't make the cut. I had to watch many sad clips and it killed me to have to watch them, they broke my heart! I cried so many times and I'm a guy who hardly ever cries! Anyway please leave a comment telling me what you think, enjoy.

I will not be doing detailed descriptions of each girl. DEAL WITH IT! lol no, but seriously, just small captions for each.

The winner is a bit suspicious but whatever, I'll put this article up anyway. I think there wasn't any rigging, just a lack of voters.

It was clear disney dominated in these polls, though some non-disney heroines managed to edge their way to the top.

Anyway, my personal favorite is Esmeralda. She's got the perfect body, Emerald eyes, the whole package.

The winner is a bit suspicious, but again, I think it's caused by lack of votes rather than rigging.

I've decided to put whether I actually liked the films aside to spotlight some films who have ladies as main protagonists (not secondary) so this list is not in any particular order. I am excluding Disney and Pixar since you probably have seen a majority of them. Sadly I am not mentioning Ghibli films because they are a company where about 90% of their films are led to girls so all I have to do is tell you to pick up almost any one of their movies to get some leading ladies. I will also mention the Barbie films because ALL of them have female leads.
Note these are movies I have actually watched...

5. The Secret of Nimh
I know this is considered one of his greats but I have a hard time loving this movie as much as the others on this list. It is a good film though; the acting, animation, action, music, characters, all of them are equally good and enjoyable. Some scenes are pretty intense though like the sword fight in the climax. I would not recommend showing this to small children unless you know they can handle it.

4. An American Tail
Like The Secret of Nimh, this is an intense film but is still enjoyable. Though this film doesn't have that many scary scenes, it's a very sad movie about...

Much like my old article where I compared Ariel and Merida, I decided to continue it after quite a few years. But this time it's me comparing movies that are similar, though not something I'm planning on making a habit of. So far, I'm just going to be doing Pocahontas vs Anastasia and Sleeping Beauty vs The Swan Princess. We'll see where it goes from there. We'll be starting with, by popular demand, Pocahontas vs Anastasia. First of all, I'm not going to bring up the historical inaccuracy of the two films because that's just really pointless. They're not meant to be educational, they're meant...

Much like my recent Pocahontas vs Anastasia article, I'm continuing my movies vs movies article with Sleeping Beaty vs The Swan Princess. A little background is that both movies are based off plays by Tchaikovsky, Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Although Sleeping Beauty is also based-off the original fairy-tale by Charles Perrault and a little bit off the story of Briar Rose by the Brothers Grim. Unfortunately, for both the Charles Perrault Sleeping Beauty and the original play of Swan Lake, it ends in tragedy. Sleeping Beauty didn't wake up from her deep sleep from true love's kiss, it was...

This is my first article on this spot so I decided to start with my favorite animated females. Most of them are from Disney because I didn't grew up with so many non Disney movies. I include all kinds of females so that means sidekicks, animals, villains and main characters.

20. Cinderella (Cinderella)

I love her because she's so faithful and because she managed to stay positive despite having to work so hard for her stepmother and stepsisters. But my biggest problem with her is that sometimes it looks like she's just standing without doing anything, like when her stepsisters yelled at...
