On july 5th 2010, it was confirmed that singer, cheryl cole, had malaria. She caught it on a holiday to tanzania with her good friend derek hought. She clapsed at photoshot and was rushed to ulc hospital, central london, were she was treated. There are 5 different types off malaria, cheryl had rlasmodiam falcipum malaria which can be fatal. Cheryls mother, joan said, " she was a diferent person all together, her eyes were just like slits". Cheryl was sent home to recover not long after and was fine in time for the judges houses for the x factor 2010.
