Chemistry Question

Can someone explain me how catalase works and what it does?

It's a question for my chemistry class and I can't find anything in the book and my classmates don't know it either :(.

Help please?

Define the question better. Are you talking about an enzyme, or catalysingm which speeds up reactions? The reason ask if you are talking about an enzyme, is all enzymes end with an -ase suffix.

sorry yeah i was talking about the enzyme that is especially in your liver(sorry i'm dutch so i have no idea how to explain it in english lol)
