Evaporation is just another part of the water cycle - small amounts of water from the ocean evaporate and are drawn into clouds. Following this, the clouds eventually begin to cross a landmass... This is when that moisture will eventually be released, often occurring over mountainous regions... The rain is soaked up by the ground and deposited into rivers, where eventually the water will end up back in the ocean. As for the conditions that favour evaporation, the only one I would state is the weather itself... This is because the weather is the only real determinant for such processes... I don't get why this is being asked in chemistry, either... The water cycle is normally covered in geography...

Increase in temperature, fall in pressure, increase of surface area and speed of wind...
