"That was the coolest thing ever, and I've seen some stuff in my life", Stefan walked over to Rachel after they were back inside and going about their business.
She smiled. "Thanks. Though maybe you should tell that to the Doctor and the others."
"Are you ok? With the Klaus' threat and all..", Stefan said quietly.
Rachel shook her head. "Stefan, I've got superpowers. And I've got enough people worrying about me at this point. So if I ever catch you asking if I'm ok again-"
"Got it", Stefan said quickly. "You're not the damsel in distress."
"I'm so far from a damsel in distress that you have no idea", Rachel said.
Before Stefan had time to say anything else, they heard a huge bang that could only come from the cells where Loki and the Joker were held.
"Hey, looks like our prisoners would like some of our attention", Tony said through gritted teeth. "Wayne, you coming?"
"Actually", Bruce looked at him. "I think I'm going to pay the Joker a visit."
"No", both Diana and Rachel said.
Tony rolled his eyes, walking out of the room when Diana followed him.
"Don't tell me I don't get to avenge what he did to you, because-"
"Stop walking", Diana snapped, and suddenly the ground under Tony's feet began to burn, and he let out a scream before jumping out from under it.
"What the hell was that for?" he snapped.
"You are being stupid. What Loki did was not personal. Not for him and not for us", Diana shouted. "You'll just screw something up by going over there."
"You don't get to tell me what to do", Tony said quietly.
Diana scoffed and watched as he walked off.

"I suppose you'll want to stop me", Bruce said as he begun to head for the Joker's cell.
"Are you going to show up looking just like you?" Rachel asked as she tried to keep up with him.
"What's the point in hiding? He knows who I am by now, anyway."
Rachel grabbed onto his arm and he turned to look at her. "Let me come with you."
"No", Bruce said. "No. He already knows I care about you-"
"Then what have we got to lose? I want to make sure nothing happens to you", Rachel said quietly, looking him in the eye. "Please."
Bruce smiled a little. "Please? That's what you're going with?"
Rachel groaned. "You're gonna let me come with you, you fucking-"
"Okay, okay, you're coming", Bruce laughed a little and gestured for her to join. "But you stay in the back."
"How flattering."

"What are you doing?" Meg found Castiel looking at the wall in the meeting room, deep in his thoughts.
"I'm thinking why Lucifer has not showed up yet", Castiel said, turning to look at her. "Can I ask you a question, Meg?"
"Yeah."
"Why do you call me Clarence?" he asked, and Meg snorted.
"You really, really should watch more movies", she leaned over and grabbed a permanent marker from the table and begun to draw on the wall.
She drew a circle and wrote inside it "Lucifer" and did the same with Klaus, Loki and the Joker.
"These four. We just gotta figure out how to beat them all permanently and", she turned to look at Castiel. "Why they have not attacked yet. Klaus and Lucifer, I mean."
"Klaus said it was because he liked that Ines girl", Castiel said. "Seems highly unlikely, though."
"Meg", he said after a moment of silence and turned to look at her. "You remember the pizza man, right?"
Meg raised her eyebrows. Once upon a time Castiel had found himself watching a porn and then almost recreating a scene of that with Meg in a building full of monsters.
"Kind of hard to forget", she said. "Why, you want a do-over?"
"Yes", Castiel said, and without waiting he leaned forwards and pulled Meg in for a kiss. She was so taken back that she didn't even realize what to do for a moment, but then she did, and she wrapped her arms around Castiel, pushing him against the wall like he'd once done with her.
"I gotta say, you should watch those pizza man clips a lot more often", Meg smirked before kicking the door of the meeting room closed as they passed it.
"You remember the pizza man, right?" "Kind of hard to forget. Why? You want a do-over?"
"You remember the pizza man, right?" "Kind of hard to forget. Why? You want a do-over?"

Albie found Jackson alone in one of the rooms with TVs. He was watching the news that talked about some new storm coming towards the US. A massive one.
"Hey", she sat next to him on the couch. "So, I.. I have a question."
"Yeah?" Jackson smiled as he turned to look at her.
"When we were captured, why did you decide to come and save me? I mean, how did you know I..."
"Fancy me?" Jackson chuckled. "I didn't. I wanted to come because I..."
"Yes?" Albie smiled a little. "Come on, this is not some romantic comedy, you don't have to have a long pause before you-"
She didn't have time to finish her sentence when Jackson leaned forwards and kissed her softly. She had not expected this at all, but she couldn't say she minded.
Jackson pulled away way too quickly, and Albie blinked once or twice before regaining the ability to speak.
"Sorry, if you didn't..", Jackson took a breath. "Like that, I can-"
"No, trust me, I did", Albie chuckled. "This is just like the worst time ever."
"I know", Jackson nodded.
They just sat there for a moment before Albie shook her shoulders and said: "But who cares?" and kissed Jackson again.
"This is just like the worst time ever. But who cares?"
"This is just like the worst time ever. But who cares?"

Diana ran into Katherine, who was in the bar in the cafeteria, getting drunk with Damon.
"Shouldn't you be with Atie?" Diana asked as she joined them.
"No. I don't even like her. You shut up", Damon snapped.
"Be nice to her, Damon", Katherine snapped, and silenced Damon with her glance. "Especially now that she's got her abilities."
Damon smiled at Diana. "Yes, I remember. I must say, you and your friends have been nothing but trouble."
"Speaking of trouble, where is Tony?" Katherine asked.
"Talking to Loki", Diana sighed. "He wouldn't stay even when I asked him."
"Men", Damon let out a dramatic sigh.
Katherine grabbed her fork and stabbed Damon in the hand. "Shut up."
"Ow", Damon hissed as he pulled the fork out, but stayed silent.
"He wants to avenge for you. He's an avenger. Let him avenge", Katherine said.
"What if he gets hurt?" Diana asked.
Katherine sighed. "This is exactly why I choose to never fall in love."
Diana knew this to be true, but didn't say anything.

"They're in here," Bruce said, pushing a door in a small corridor next to the parking lot open. It revealed endless walls of cells, two of which, the closest to the door, were occupied.
"Hmmm Bruce Wayne..." They heard the Joker's voice, but they couldn't see him until they turned around to face his cell, next to Loki's as Tony closed the door.
"Fancy that." The Joker held on to the iron bars, smirking at Rachel.
Bruce stretched his arm protectively around Rachel, and Rachel gave him a glare.
"But of course," he did that with his mouth again, "there's a little bit of Batman in both your lives."
As soon as he finished that, Loki appeared out of the shadow of his cage.
"How are you alive?" he asked, angry.
"We-"
"They're alive and you're in here. That's the point." said Bruce.
Rachel looked at him in disbelief
"I was about to say that, you know." and suddenly, something pushed Bruce's arm away from her.
"Rachel-"
"I can take care of myself." She let go of his arm as it settled down and stepped forward.
"How did-" Loki started.
"Your spear." said Tony. "Classy, very smart thinking. The big, fat irony is that it actually..." he glanced at Rachel for a second. "benefited us."
"What?" Loki looked at all three of them in confusion.
"I'm having a Loki omelet for breakfast, that's what." said Tony, and both Loki and The Joker fell to the ground. You don't recently hear any of them scream like that, but they were being tortured. They felt like every cell in their body was tearing apart, because it was.
"Stop." said Bruce, and Rachel did, she looked up at him.
"You're not the boss of me." she said.
"Bruce and I kill them." said Tony, making Rachel face him. "It's our call."
They heard a snicker coming from Joker's cage, that snicker turned into a chuckle, then into laughter, then into something that sounded as if he was half choking, half laughing his kidneys out. As soon as he got up and caught his breath, he spoke.
"Woah! Right, you have no idea how many times that one" he pointed at Bruce "tried to kill me. He never does. And," he added to Rachel, "he saved my life after I blew up the other Rachel."
"Circumstances changed." said Bruce loudly.
"Did they?" Joker looked at Rachel. "What makes you think you're any different?"
Rachel took a deep breath, looking deep into Joker's eyes. She didn't know anything, she didn't know Bruce, but she knew one thing. She walked closer to his cage, so close the tip of her nose was almost touching the bars, and she said:
"He won't kill you because I won't let him." Joker started laughing, the same choking laugh he was laughing before, except even louder now.
"You-" he began.
"But," said Rachel, cutting him off "I'll make sure both of them and all of us make you wish the two of you were dead." She looked dangerously at Loki, and, with that, left with Bruce and Tony, making them leave with the help of her power, of course.
"I'll make sure both of them and all of us make you wish the two of you were dead."
"I'll make sure both of them and all of us make you wish the two of you were dead."

"So, you had your humanity off," said Diana, "and you pretended to fall in love with this... Lexi girl, just to get her off tour back because she annoyed you?" she was laughing, just like Katherine and Damon. The three of them were already through over five bottles of Jack, and Damon was telling them a story of how he once turned his humanity off and how desperate a certain girl was for him to turn it back on.
"I always knew this Lexie wench was a pain in the dickhole." Katherine said, taking a gulp from her fifth half-done whiskey.
"She wasn't all that bad." said Damon.
"Hm?" said Diana.
"Well, I did kill her forty years later." Damon smirked as he took a shot and Diana giggled with Katherine.
"You know," said Diana. "it's weird how everyone thinks killing is the easiest way out."
"Isn't it?" said Katherine. "It's way easier than waste your time, negotiate and do whatever the fucked up shit these kissups do." she was talking in a boring tone, but snickered at the end. "I prefer the simple solution."
"You, my friend," said Damon, gesturing at Diana as she took a gulp from Katherine's bottle. "Need more predator thinking. You have powers now! Come on, put them to use. I know Atie would."
"Is that why you like her?" said Diana "You're adorable, Damon."
"Could say the same about you and Tony." he smirked.
Diana was about to say something but the room to the cafeteria opened, and Tony, Rachel and Bruce walked in.
"Oh, no." Diana said under her breath. "No, no, no!" she whined.
"What are you doing?" said Rachel, coming up to them.
"Having a good time." said Diana.
Rachel looked at the three of them, from Katherine, to Damon, to Diana. Then, she sat down.
"I'm gonna need one-" but Damon already handed her a bottle.
"Rachel," said Bruce. "You don't wanna do this."
"Oh come on!" said Diana. "Don't be such a buzzkill, have fun once in a while!"
"Yeah, fun's over." said Tony, grabbing her by her arm.
"And who appointed you the boss of me? You didn't listen to me, so I'm not listening to you." and Tony's hand suddenly burned, he flinched as he let her go.
"You two should just relax and have a drink." said Katherine.
Bruce looked at all four of them.
"Fine, we're gonna have to do this the hard way." he exchanged looks with Tony, and both of them got out a small button out of their pockets, as soon as they clicked them, the to girls and them teleported. Bruce teleported himself and Rachel to the girls' room, and Tony teleported Diana and himself to his.
"It's way easier than waste your time, negotiate and do whatever the fucked up shit these kissups do."
"It's way easier than waste your time, negotiate and do whatever the fucked up shit these kissups do."

"What the hell?" Diana snapped.
"We need to talk." said Tony.
"About what?" Diana asked angrily. "I'm having a little bit of fun."
"Yeah, but you're being reckless with your powers", Tony said. "And trust me, usually I'm all for a good party, but now.. with this.."
Diana scoffed. "You're not the boss of me. Get out of the way", she wanted to get out of the room, but Tony was standing in the doorway.
"Don't think so", he said.
Diana raised her hand, ready to use her powers again, but then Tony grabbed a syringe from his pocket and stuck it in Diana's throat, pressing the plunger and in a few seconds Diana's eyelids shut close and she was about to fall to the ground when Tony grabbed her, holding her tight.
"Sorry", he said before tossing her on the bed and walking out of the room himself. He had a few minutes to get her something to eat before she'd wake up.

Rachel pushed Bruce away from her as soon as they'd appeared in the bedroom and was just about to walk out of the door when Bruce locked the door, turning to look at her.
"What? Are you gonna give me a talk about how bad I'm being?" Rachel asked in disbelief.
"Rachel.."
"Don't call me that. I know that to you it only means the name of that other Rachel, the one you actually cared about."
"You know that's not true", Bruce said.
"Okay, maybe it isn't", Rachel said, crossing her arms. "But tell me something."
"What?"
"Why do you like me? What is it about me that makes me stand out from everyone else around here? I want a proper answer and I want it now", she walked closer to him, waiting.

Marty found Legolas in one of the empty bedrooms, eyeing a poster of some band on the wall.
"Hey", she smiled as she walked over to him. "I suppose this is a little different from what.. you're used to."
"To say the least", Legolas said, turning to look at her. "Are you alright? Remember what I told you, using your powers a lot when you haven't trained that much-"
"Can be dangerous, I know", Marty nodded. "I remember what you told me."
Legolas gave her a soft smile. "Your friends are interesting."
"That is the only kind word you can use to describe them", Marty smirked. "But yes, they are interesting."
Legolas nodded, and just looked at her for a moment.
"What?" Marty asked, blushing a little.
"Nothing. You're just.. beautiful", Legolas smiled, and Marty felt more amazed than she had for a while. So that's what you had to do to find gentlemen. Travel in a spaceship to another world.
"You're just.. beautiful"
"You're just.. beautiful"

Diana opened her eyes to find Tony sitting next to the bed, holding out a slice of pizza.
"I know you want to eat it", he said.
Diana rolled her eyes but grabbed the slice of pizza anyway and took a bite. "What did you dose me with?"
"Just some short-time anesthetics", Tony said. "Took you less to wear it off than humans, since you're not really one anymore."
"I'm not human", Diana said in disbelief. "That is twisted."
"Can you tell me what you were doing, getting drunk with dumb and dumber?" Tony asked.
Diana turned to look at him. "Katherine is my friend. And Damon is.. dumber."
Tony smiled a little, leaning over to take the empty plate from Diana, but as he did so, Diana grabbed him by his collar, pulling him down for a kiss. Tony was taken back at first, but then got over the shock, climbing on the bed so that he was on top of Diana, kissing her roughly.
Diana ran her hands through Tony's dark hair and pulled him even closer. Neither of them noticed when the plate fell of the bed, breaking as it hit the floor.
"Did you lock the door?" Diana whispered, moving to kiss Tony's neck.
"Diana..", Tony cursed himself for what he was about to say, but before he had time to actually say it, Diana had flipped them over, and she was on top of Tony, unbuttoning his shirt.
"Wait, Diana", Tony said. "We need to talk."
"We'll talk after", Diana said, leaning down to kiss him again, but this time Tony flipped them over, again, pressing Diana against the bed.
"I guess you like it rough", Diana said, a little breathless.
"I do", Tony whispered, leaning closer. "But we can't do this now. I need you to calm down and stop being so reckless."
"Then stop me", Diana said, kissing him again. Tony kissed her back, touching her cheek, but with his other hand he pinned Diana down and within seconds he'd grabbed a pair of handcuffs from the drawer and locked Diana's hand to the bed.
"Oh, come on", she said in disbelief as Tony got up from the bed.
"Sorry, babe", he laughed a little. "You are going to stay here until you're ready to talk."
"That'll take a long time", Diana said, already coming up with a plan to melt the cuffs.
"I'll wait", Tony said, and so he sat on the floor with the closed door right behind him.
Diana looked at him in amusement. "You really care about me, don't you?"
"More than you know", Tony said, refusing to look at her.

After Albie's encouncer with Jackson, she found herself in front of the girls' bedroom, with the door locked.
Atie was standing by the door, shaking her head.
"What?" Albie asked.
"Bruce and Rachel are in there."
"Eww!"
"I think they're just talking", Atie said. "Rachel and Diana have gone a little off the tracks."
Albie sighed. "Yeah, I've noticed. I guess this isn't a good time to tell you, then."
"Tell me what?" Atie asked in confusion.
Albie smiled a little. She was a grown woman, well, in a way, but she still wanted to fangirl about her kiss. "Jackson and I kissed."
"What?" Atie gasped, smirking. "Yes, yes! So shipping it!"
"I guess we'll never get over the fangirling thing", Albie laughed.
"No", Atie said, leading Albie away from the bedroom to the empty gym. "Tell me everything."
And Albie did, and for a moment the girls actually felt relieved to be talking about something other than monsters or their powers. They felt like normal girls again.

Bruce looked at Rachel. He didn't know what to say. He loved the old Rachel in the past, and he still loved her now. But she's not like this Rachel, and what could he say? It felt like he knew her forever, when it has just been two days.
"Rachel," he said, coming closer to her, but she backed away, so he stopped as she looked into his eyes. He came up with something, but was sure it wasn't good enough.
"You're different." he said.
"I said a good reason." she replied.
Bruce sighed. What good reason? He didn't even know what was it about her that made him so committed.
"Maybe it's the doppelgänger thing; hell, maybe it's even that you remind me of Rachel, I have no idea."
Rachel sighed and shook her head. She thought as much.
"But I do know one thing. What I feel towards you, is nothing like I ever felt before in my entire life."
Rachel came closer to him this time, and he didn't back away.
"It doesn't matter if none of this is real."
"But it is real. Rachel, this, what I feel towards you, it's..." he paused.
"You're not like anybody else in the world, and I care about you. Who cares why? I do. And if it was because of the other Rachel, I wouldn't even call that caring, I'd just call that not being able to let go. But I did let go, I still love her, but I let go, a long time ago."
"Then why did all of this happen so fast?" asked Rachel. Bruce held her hands in his.
"Do you feel the same for me?" he asked.
"What?" asked Rachel. That surprised her, she didn't expect to hear that from him, not now anyways.
"I care about you. Do you care about me?"
Rachel didn't know what to answer at first, she had no idea what to say.
"Yes." But who was she kidding? "I do."
"Then why are you wondering on why did it happen so fast?"
Rachel smiled, and Bruce smiled back as he leaned forward and slowly kissed her as she kissed him back.
The door suddenly opened.
"Not again," Bruce looked over and saw Ines standing at the door.
"How the hell did I hear you all the way from the gym?"
"I do know one thing. What I feel towards you is nothing like I ever felt before in my entire life."
"I do know one thing. What I feel towards you is nothing like I ever felt before in my entire life."

Villy was walking around the place. There were so many things here and there, she never actually got to properly explore it. Like for example, they actually had a pool next to the gym, and a huge telescope at the roof, not mentioning a huge theatre on the fourth floor. But right now, she was in the parking lot, looking at the cars.
"It's late." a voice said from behind her. "I can think of a thousand better things to do right now."
Villy turned around, smirking, she already knew it was Dean.
"Like?"
"Like sleeping," he came closer to her "or watching movies," he was inches away from her now. "or something else."
Villy knew he was flirting, so she decided to change the subject, but somehow play along.
"What are you doing down here?" she asked.
"Fixing that hole." he pointed at the wall behind him and Villy looked there.
"What hole?" there was no hole.
"Exactly." Villy looked back up at him.
"Not bad, counting that two of World's Most Wanted came through it."
"Trust me, it's penis-proof now."
Villy leaned backwards at a car she was standing next to, it was a black 1967 chevy impala, and Villy liked it more than all the Porsches, Ferraris, Lamborghinis and all the other cars in there for some reason.
"I take it you like the car." Dean said.
"Pretty much." said Villy
"And if I tell you it's mine?"
"I'd think you're-" but Dean already flickered its keys in front of her.
"Or maybe not." said Villy, smirking a bit.
"What do you say I give you a ride?"
"Hm..." Villy stepped away from the car, and brushed passed Dean, whispering in his ear:
"Maybe next time, gorgeous." And she went back inside, as Dean smiled at her over his shoulder.
"I take it you like the car."
"I take it you like the car."

Rachel and Bruce watched as Ines entered the room. Rachel let go of Bruce and he could sense how the moment between them was over. Nothing was resolved.
"What do you mean? I thougt you had the super strength", she said.
"Well, I heard all about your mushy love talk", Ines said. "By the way, it does matter why you two care so much about each other so quickly."
Rachel groaned. "Everyone here is like in love with each other, and suddenly when I care about someone-"
"Of course it's different 'cause you're the doppelgänger!" Ines snapped. "Now, can we just.. I'm kind of freaking out right now."
"Let's take her to Bonnie", Bruce said, leading the two girls out of the room.
"You couldn't have given us a few minutes?" Rachel muttered to Ines.
"I couldn't bear it anymore, it was like from the lamest romantic movie I've ever seen."
Rachel made a face. She hated romantic movies.
"Is it just hearing, or are other stuff.. heightened?" Bruce asked.
"Yeah, actually, my skin is more sensitive to touch", Ines said. "You mean that kind of thing?"
Bruce nodded. "Yeah, I think I know what this is", he then turned to look at Rachel. "Are we good now?"
"Well, yeah, but don't think you can just march in and with one kiss-"
"Trust me, I did not plan on making it just one kiss", Bruce said as he opened the door to a room where Bonnie was sitting, reading a book. A spell book.
Rachel gave Bruce a smirk before walking into the room after Ines.
"What's going on?" Bonnie asked.
"Can powers change at this stage?" Ines asked.
Bonnie narrowed her eyes. "I don't think so.. I.. Hold on", she flipped the pages of her book as Meg and Castiel joined them in the room.
Rachel smirked at Meg's messy hair and the fact that Castiel's coat looked like it has hastily just been put back on.
"Where were you two?" she asked.
"We-", Castiel said, but Meg shook her head, just exchanged looks with Rachel.
"Okay then", Rachel laughed a little before turning back to Bonnie.
"What have your powers transformed into?" Bonnie asked Ines.
"I can feel, hear and just sense everything better", she said.
"Your senses have heightened", Meg said. "That sounds like a vampire ability. You sure you didn't let anyone bite you? Or, you know, feed you their blood and kill you?"
"No", Ines snapped.
"Just asking."
"What should we do?" Rachel asked, turning to Bonnie.
"Honestly? Enjoy it. I think this was just a thing that is very rare to happen, but it happened anyway. Ines, your power changed. I hope you weren't very fond of your last one, because it isn't likely it'll change again."
Ines nodded. "This is just so freaky", with that she left the room.
Rachel sighed. "Should I go after her?"
"No", Bruce said and grabbed her wrist. "Sorry, Tony and I made a pact. Meg."
Rachel turned to look at Meg in shock just in time to see her stick a syringe into her neck and press the plunger, just like Tony had done with Diana.
"You asshole", Rachel hissed at Bruce just before the dose took effect.
Bruce lifted the unconcious Rachel in his arms and turned to look at Bonnie, who looked at him in shock.
"Don't judge me for this", with that he left the room, followed by Meg and Castiel.

Diana finally sat up on the bed and turned to look at Tony. "Fine, I give up. Let's talk."
"You're lying", Tony said.
"What makes you think that?" Diana asked, smirking a little.
"Because you've been using your powers to melt the cuffs all this time, and I think that if you pull one more time, you're free. You're planning on distracting me for a moment before running out the door", Tony said simply.
"Wow", Diana said. "You're smart. That's hot."
"I know I don't know you that well, Diana", Tony said. "But you really seem different. And I can't say I like it."
"Well, maybe powers changed us", Diana said. "What's wrong with that? Hey, where's Ray, anyway?"
Tony looked at her in confusion.
"Rachel Connor, my friend. Brown hair, stupid red highlights, in love with your best friend."
"Oh, right", Tony said. "Yeah, Bruce probably has her unconcious at this point, too."
"I'm having a Loki omelet for breakfast, that's what."
"I'm having a Loki omelet for breakfast, that's what."

And soon enough Rachel found herself tied to Bruce's bed. She opened her eyes and saw Meg finishing the last knot.
"I swear that this is nothing kinky", Meg said as she got up.
Rachel looked down and saw that her every limb was tied to the bed.
"Oh, yeah, I'll believe that", she snapped. "Come on, just let me go."
"I'm all for bad and all, but your boyfriend is worried about you", Meg said, knelting next to the bed.
"He is not my boyfriend!" Rachel shouted, causing Meg to gasp in pain. She'd probably accidentally used her power to do something to Meg.
"Oh, my God", she said as she noticed, calming down, and soon Meg's pain seemed to be gone. "I'm sorry."
"Yeah", she got up. "Yeah, you need help, honey."
"I do not need help", Rachel said. "Where's Bruce? Tell me!"
"I'm here", she turned around to see Bruce at the other end of the room, standing against the wall, looking at her.
"This stupid plan of yours and Tony's.. it's pointless. Diana and I are fine", Rachel said simply. "Let me go."
"No", Bruce shook his head.
"So everything you said to me earlier was a lie."
"No, I'm doing this because none of it was a lie", Bruce said, walking closer to her. He was about to touch her face when Rachel spoke:
"Please go before I break your pretty face."
Bruce stood back up, nodding. "I'll be back."
"That's what the terminator said", Rachel whispered to herself, closing her eyes. For a moment she let herself remember who she used to be, the girl who loved terminator, who loved her family, her friends, the girl who had it all. What did this girl have, excpect for some fancy powers and plenty of regrets?

Elena was stading at the doorway when Bruce got out of the room.
"Is she ok?" she asked.
"In a way. I just.. I think the powers did something to her. As well as Diana."
Elena nodded. "I remember when I was at my darkest", she said. "I didn't have my humanity on, I didn't care about anything."
"I surely hope that doesn't happen to her", Bruce said.
"I'm happy she has you, you care about her", Elena said.
"Caring isn't going to save her", Castiel said. "Nor Diana. I think that maybe there was something about Loki's spear that we did not think of, that we didn't take into account."
Everyone went silent.
"What's going on?" Katherine asked as she joined the group. "Why are you all taking this so seriously? They're just having fun, being like-"
"Us", Damon, who'd been walking with her, finished.
"Well, no one wants them to be like either of you", Elena snapped.
"I don't know why. We're awesome", Damon gave the group a smirk before walking off.
Katherine sighed. "Where is Diana?"
"In Tony's room."

"I wish I had something proper and meaningful to say to you, I really do", Diana said quietly. She was lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling. "But all I want to do is smack you across the face for cuffing me to the bed."
"I did it for your own good", Tony said.
"You did it to satisfy your kinky fantasies. I don't know what it is about someone being tied up that's so hot, that more like indicates-"
"Okay, let's not talk about that", Tony said. "I wish you'd talk to me, tell me how you're feeling."
"I feel great", Diana said. "What should I say? What do you want to hear that will make you let me go?"
"Nothing", Tony said. "If you don't mean it."
Diana smirked. "Wow. You know, from what I'd heard of you, I'd have thought you were more fun. Bruce, as well. Did Rachel and I make you boring?"
"No", Tony chuckled. "Losing almost every battle we've ever been a part of did."
"And who appointed you the boss of me?"
"And who appointed you the boss of me?"

Damon found Atie in the gym with Albie.
"Oh, look at that", he chuckled. "Having a girls' night? Can I join?"
"Not really", Albie said, but when she turned to look at Atie, she saw that she was smiling at Damon. "Actually.. I think I should go", Albie stumbled up. "See you guys later", with that she left the room.
Damon turned to look at Atie. "There's something going on with your friends."
"I know", Atie sighed. "Do you think it's serious?" She was about to get up from the floor when Damon walked over to her, sitting next to her.
"Maybe. We'll have to see with time", Damon said.
Atie smiled a little. "Tell me about yourself."
"What do you want to know? Do you wanna know how I was a disappointment to my father, how I turned into a vampire in 1864, how I came back to Mystic Falls to ruin my brother's life just to see how pointless that was?"
"I think you just told me all that", Atie smirked a little. "Why did you want to ruin Stefan's life?"
"Because Katherine had turned him into a vampire, too. I was jealous."
"Are you.. still?" Atie asked. "I mean.. do you still..?"
"Katherine and I are as over as a couple can be", Damon said. "There were some.. other people, too, but needless to say, it's all over at this point. What about you?" he turned to look at her.
"There were some people, yes, but no one I truly ever loved", Atie said.
"Love is a strong word."
"Yeah", Atie turned to look at him. "Why is everyone so scared of you?"
"I don't know", Damon smirked. "Maybe because I'm crazy and impulsive."
Atie laughed a little. "Maybe you are, but those qualities are really not that bad in my eyes."
"Good", Damon smiled, and for a moment Atie felt something she knew she shouldn't, but just then the gym door opened and the Doctor and Rose walked in.
"Oh, bloody hell", the Doctor said. "What a massive, massive gym. Just look at the-"
"Doctor", Rose smiled a little and gestured at Atie and Damon, who the Doctor just now noticed.
"Oh, sorry, mates, sorry", the Doctor said, grabbing Rose's hand and leaving the gym. "But what a massive.."
Rose closed the door behind her, and Damon turned to look at Atie again, and after a moment of silence they both burst into laughter.
"I think this place is getting crazier by the minute", Damon said.
"I couldn't agree more", Atie nodded.
"Why is everyone so scared of you?" "I don't know, maybe because I'm crazy and impulsive."
"Why is everyone so scared of you?" "I don't know, maybe because I'm crazy and impulsive."

Katherine knocked on the door of Tony's room, and he had two seconds to get up from the way before she marched in.
"Let her go", she said, indicating at Diana.
"No", Tony said. "I need to figure out what's going on."
"Do you know that your bestie has got Rachel tied up, too? This is just so freaking sick that I cannot even..", Katherine scoffed, turning to look at Diana. "Are you ok?"
"Actually, I am", Diana said. "Tony and I were just having a chat."
Katherine sighed.
"Please don't bother Bruce, he's more worried than I am", Tony whispered to her.
"And you used that as an excuse to tag along and tie your girlfriend to your bed?"
"I'm not his girlfriend", Diana muttered.
"Katherine, please", Tony snapped. "Do something or get out."
"Fine. You've got two hours, both of you, but after that Meg and I are letting the girls go. Jesus...", with that she walked out, slamming the door closed after her.

Rachel scoffed as Bruce walked into the room. He gave Meg a look, and she nodded, understanding, and walked out as Bruce closed the door behind her.
"You know I can easily get out of here, right?"
"Then why haven't you done that already?" said Bruce, sitting on the bed by Rachel.
Rachel didn't say anything. She just looked down and sighed.
"Something's changed about you." said Bruce. Rachel laughed at this and looked up at him.
"You don't even know me."
"All your friends noticed that."
"Did they really notice that or is it one of your perky little lies?"
"Exactly what I mean."
Rachel shook her head and looked the other direction.
"Unbelievable." she said.
"I didn't plan for-"
"You were going to do this if Ines didn't walk in, right? All of that prep talk, you kissing me, all of that, it was all just for this, wasn't it?"
"I told you, I'm doing this because everything I said was true."
But Rachel didn't believe that, not in this situation.
"When you said you planned more than a kiss, you meant this didn't you?"
"No!"
"Then why am I tied to your bed right now, Bruce?" Rachel shouted. And as soon as his name escaped her lips, all the lights in the room popped, and the only light was coming from the huge window.
"That's why." said Bruce, not tearing his gaze away from her. It seemed somehow different with no light, kinda reminded both of them of how they first saw each other in the woods. It was just two days ago, but felt like it's been a lifetime.
"Alright," said Rachel "what now, then?"

"So, tell me." Sam and Aria were sitting outside under an apple tree. Sam had found her strolling along the corridors and asked to show her something. That something was the amazing feeling Aria got sitting under this tree and looking up, seeing the quarter moon and the starts through its branches. Sam had asked what he asked just then as Aria looked at him.
"Tell you what?"
"Well, you know about my life." he said. "Tell me something about yours."
"Oh." Aria looked at her hands. "Trust me, I'm not sure if you'd like it."
"Try me." Sam smiled at her.
"Everyone of us," she said. "the girls, I mean, we have a dark past. It's ironic, but it's kind of what kept is together." she paused for a second.
"Anyway, my mom, she never wanted me."
"You mean, you were an accident?"
"Yeah, my parents weren't married."
"Everyone gets shocked at first when they go into a relationship and then get pregnant. Your mom didn't abort you." Sam gave her a reassuring look.
"My parents weren't in a relationship..." said Aria. After a brief pause, Sam said:
"Then...?"
"My mother, she was a..."
"Oh." was the only thing Sam managed to say when realization hit him.
"Yeah." said Aria. "My dad was rich and he had divorced three times already because none of the women gave him children. So he decided no more, and to hell with kids. So all he did was have sleep with whores whenever he felt like it. He was in his early thirties. Then one of them decided to tell him she's pregnant for some reason and that she was going to abort the baby. He told her not to, and payed her a lot for that. When I came though, he was disappointed. Because he wanted a boy, someone to carry on his legacy and last name. He didn't want me, and she didn't want me either. So the caretaker took care of me and gave me my name. My dad died two years ago, and I inherited his house and money."
"Good." said Sam, grinning.
"Why?" asked Aria.
"Because I'd kill him myself if he hasn't."
Aria smiled at him and looked up to the sky.
"Yeah, that actually came to my mind a lot of times. I didn't even cry when he died, I barely even knew him. Lucy told me everything, our caretaker. All my dad did was pay for the school and food I ate, really. She was like my real mother, and he was just a bag of money, really."
"Was?" Sam asked.
"Cancer." Aria looked at him. "She passed away two months ago."
Sam looked at her for a few moments. His eyes shined in the moonlight. Maybe it was the forest, but he looked so innocent, so caring but at the same time so manly now. And when he wrapped his arms around Aria and hugged her, she felt safer than ever in his arms. As if returning home after a two month trip. That's what she felt like when he was around: comfortable, calm, home, safe.
"We have a dark past. It's ironic, but it's kind of one of the things that keep us together."
"We have a dark past. It's ironic, but it's kind of one of the things that keep us together."

"Now," said Bruce. "now you talk to talk to me." Rachel noticed again, how close they were. Just inches away from each other; but now, the lights were off too. And she could feel the air tense, but tense in a way that made her feel good.
"Talk about what?" Rachel said in a low voice, looking down at his lips.
"About this." he raised her chin so she'd look him in the eyes. "All of this."
Rachel lifted her neck slowly so her lips almost touched his, then towards his ear as she whispered:
"There's nothing to talk about."
Bruce pushed her down on the bed from her neck and leaned forwards.
"I'll try another way, then." he said. Then he got up and headed to the bathroom.
"Oh, what?" Rachel shouted after him. "Just gonna leave me here where I can easily run out?"
A moment later, and Bruce quickly walked out of the room. Next thing Rachel knew was her lips were against his. He kissed her so passionately, Rachel could barely breathe, but she barely felt that, she didn't care, she just wanted more. And he gave her more. He grabbed her by the waste as she tore the ropes apart and took his shirt off as he climbed onto the bed on top of her. They kissed again, and now Bruce sat up, holding Rachel against his body, her sticking her hand into his hair as he went down to her neck. He stood up from the bed, her fixing her legs on his body, and slammed Rachel to the wall. Rachel just started to kiss his chest when he backed away quickly. She tried to reach after him, but she couldn't. She tried once again, and once more after looking around until she realized she was stuck to the wall itself.
"Just to make sure you wouldn't easily run out." said Bruce, still shirtless, and still panting a little. Rachel looked at him in anger and disbelief.
"Damn you!" she screamed.
Bruce didn't say anything, but turned around and headed to the bathroom again.
"You know I can just break this wall right?" she shouted after him once more. He turned around towards her.
"Walls support a building, and everybody knows that."
"Why does this have to stop me?"
"Because you'd think of the people that would get hurt or die. Or do you not care?"
Rachel scoffed. And in a moment, said:
"How did you even-"
"Doesn't matter. Wait here," Bruce cut her off, heading to the bathroom again.

"Alright." said Diana as Katherine walked out. "Two hours. Let's talk." Tony gave her a look.
"I'm serious." she said. "But if you want to hear me say something about myself feeling wrong, or feeling different, don't wait for it. Because I'm fine. I'd prefer you tell me more about what you were saying before Katherine walked in."
Tony smiled a little. "Changing the subject to reflect on me and my mistakes. Clever."
"I'm a clever girl", Diana smirked a little.
Tony walked closer to her and smiled. "Diana, you have no idea what stuff I've had to go through in my life. But today is not about that, not about me."
"When you last fought Loki, what happened?" Diana asked ignoring what he'd just said.
Tony groaned, trying to think of another way to approach the situation

Rachel felt exposed, angry, and embarrassed- stuck to the wall after a failed attempt at doing something highly inappropriate with that sexy billionaire. So she surely wasn't just going to "wait there" while he did what he did.
"MEG!" Rachel yelled, knowing she'd still be outside the room, and soon enough, Meg waltzed into the room, eyeing her in confusion.
"Wow, it worked? You're that easy?" she chuckled.
Rachel gave the direction of the closed bathroom door an angry glare before turning back to look at Meg. "How am I bound here?"
"Bonnie. Magic", Meg said as she walked over to her. "Now you and I are going to talk while your boyfriend stands in that room, trying to think of a way to make you talk."
Rachel scoffed. "Yeah, okay, whatever you say."
"Let's talk about these scars", Meg suddenly said, gesturing at the old, fading scars that could be found on both of Rachel's wrists.
She said nothing, just looked away.
"You're a cutter?" Meg asked.
"I was. A few years ago", Rachel said after a moment of silence.
"Why?"
"Why what? Do people need a reason to do stupid things?" Rachel snapped.
"So you regret it?" Meg asked.
"No. I mean, yeah, in a way."
"You don't want to die", Meg already knew the answer.
"You mean right now or in general?" Rachel gritted her teeth.
"Tell me."
She slowly turned to look at the demon, knowing she had to spill or she'd never leave. "Fine. I have a bad self-esteem."
"And that is all?" Meg snorted a little.
Rachel sighed. "And parents who didn't care. Well, dad didn't care and mom told me I was a disappointment. I guess I was, too. And boyfriends who either cheated on me or beat me. And what sucked the most is that I let them", she said. "I wasn't strong enough to fight them off, tell them all that they've got no right to judge me. The only good one I ever had died in a car crash."
Meg said nothing, just listened.
Rachel gave her a crazy smile before saying: "I am strong enough now."
Meg nodded. "Okay. So you're a cutter with self-esteem issues and bad ex-boyfriends. Great. Now we revealed your darkest secrets. Use them to your advantage, Bruce", she said, and Rachel turned to look at the bathroom door, which had opened at some point without her noticing. Bruce was standing in the doorway, looking at her.
"That was private", Rachel said to Meg.
"Then you shouldn't have told me in your boyfriend's bedroom", Meg said before walking to the doorway. Just as she was about to walk off, she turned around and sighed. "I'm sorry", with that she left the room.
Rachel slowly turned to look at Bruce. "I didn't mean for you to hear that."
"I know."
"I'm not weak", Rachel added through gritted teeth. "I am not!"
"I know that", Bruce said carefully, walking closer to her. He sighed, touching her cheek before walking back towards the other end of the room again. "I just don't know what to do with you."
Rachel tried to hold back the tears that were ready to flow. She wasn't a person who cried, but Meg had forced her to remember her darkest days, and now the person she most likely cared about the most in the world at that moment had heard it all, too.

Katherine met up with Meg in the hallway and looked at her in concern.
"What's going on?"
"Rachel's secret is revealed and her Prince Charming is thinking what to do with it right now. What about Diana?"
"She won't spill. I don't understand the strength of that girl's mind", Katherine sighed.
Meg rolled her eyes before asking: "What the hell are we doing?"
"What?" Katherine asked.
"I'm a demon. You're a vampire. And here we are, caring about a bunch of idiotic humans", Meg snapped.
"They're not humans anymore", Katherine sighed.
"But my point still stands."
"Trust me, I get what you mean."

Diana was staring to get hungry, but she would not tell Tony that. She was bouncing up and down from unconsciousness. She'd drank a little too much with Katherine and Damon, and all she wanted to do now was sleep.
"If you want to sleep, you can", Tony said.
"I don't want to", she said, but she wasn't looking at him, she was looking at the ceiling.
Tony walked closer to her, eyeing her carefully. "You look tired."
"So do you. Wanna cuddle?" Diana asked with sarcasm in her voice.
Tony smiled a little as he touched her cheek carefully. "I am going to stay here, with you, until I know you're going to be okay. But until that is clear..", he let her go. "I'm not going to give you any funny ideas."
Diana laughed a little, and then realized there was only one way to make him shut up and let her go."If I tell you.. my story, will you let me go?"
Tony said nothing.
"Rachel already spilled the beans, didn't she?"
"Just a few minutes ago."
Diana nodded. "I knew she would. I love the girl, but she doesn't always understand the point of keeping some things to yourself."
Tony waited.

Atie and Damon were still in the gym, lying on the floor, and somehow she had ended up lying with her head against his chest, but Damon didn't mind at all.
"Tell me about yourself", Atie said quietly. "Tell me about your life."
"I don't know what else there is to say anymore", Damon muttered, looking at the ceiling. He'd already told her almost everything. "I could tell you about Rose."
"Rose?" Atie asked, looking up at him a little.
"No need to be jealous. She was a friend of mine", Damon smirked.
"I'm not jealous", Atie said, lying back down.
"Right. Well, she was my friend, or a friend with benefits..", Damon sighed. "And one day she got bitten by a werewolf. Werewolf bite is fatal to us vampires. And we both knew she was going to die. I held her in my arms in her final moments, and the worst moment of it all was when I.. ended her suffering."
"You killed her?" Atie asked in confusion.
"It made her death quicker. She wanted it. And I wanted her to not feel pain."
"I haven't told you about any of the bad stuff I've done", Damon said quietly.
"And I don't want you to. I'm good here, like this."
"Me too", Damon nodded. "Tell me about you."
"No", Atie said.
Damon raised his eyebrows. "Why not?"
Atie took a breath and figured she owed him a story. "I was in love, once. With a guy named Neal. He was my first love. And after only a few months of dating, he asked me to marry him."
"That was fast", Damon said.
"Yeah. Well, in my stupidity, I said yes. I was only 17. We got married, but as it turned out, he'd only been using me to get access to my father's money", Atie sighed. "My father was very rich."
"Was?" Damon asked in confusion.
"I'm getting there. By the time I figured out what Neal was actually up to, it was too late. I caught him one night, in my father's office, emptying his accounts. I didn't know what to do, so I.. I just stood there in shock, until he noticed me."
Damon listened, and he didn't even notice he was holding Atie tight in his arms.
"And as he did, I made the worst mistake..", Atie sighed. "I called out to my dad, and when he ran into the office, it was already too late. Neal had a gun and he shot my father right in front of my eyes. He died within seconds."
Damon was in awe of how Atie could keep something like this inside for so long.
"And that isn't all", she sniffed a little, but was not going to cry. "I was so shocked at what he'd done, and apparently, so was Neal. He dropped the gun on the ground, and I was faster than him. I ran to the gun, lifted it and pointed it at him, telling him to step away from the computer. He did, but not in the way I'd hoped. He ran towards me, ready to tackle me or something, and that's when I pulled the trigger", Atie said quietly. "Neal killed my father and I killed him. And the worst part is that.. sometimes I don't even regret it."
Damon kissed the top of her head, saying: "I think you did the right thing." He still held her close.
"Well, whether that's true or not..", Atie took a breath. "I got out free, considering that the surveillance camera in my dad's office showed the whole event, and the court cleared me killing Neal as self defense. Which is what it was. But I still regret it."
Damon stood up, turning to look at Atie, who looked at him in confusion.
"You did everything right", he said a bit too intensely. "Don't you dare blame yourself. That bastard deserved to die."
Atie smiled a little. "No one deserves to die."
"He did", Damon said as he helped her up. "And if you hadn't finished the job, I would have."
Atie laughed a little, hugging Damon tight. "I know."
Damon held her close to himself, feeling something he had not felt in years.

"You keep waiting." said Diana. "I won't spill, so you might as well keep me in here until you get bored." Diana really wasn't the one to spill, she didn't tell just anyone about anything, though Tony wasn't just anyone, and her past wasn't just anything, but still. If it comes to it though, she might as well.
"I won't get bored of you." said Tony. "I said I'll keep you here until you talk to me, I don't care how long it takes."
"Fine." Said Diana. "Good night." She really was tired, so why not sleep? She heated the cuff wide enough for her to get out of it, and went under the sheets, closing her eyes.
Tony laughed a little and smiled to himself, shaking his head.
"Unbelievable." He said. "Why can't you just be open with me?"
Diana opened one eye. "Why do you think?" she asked.
Tony gave her a look. And she sat up.
"Well, let's see. You don't listen to me when I tell you not to get yourself killed, you interrupt my fun and bring me here, and then you interrupt my fun- again- and cuff me to your bed. Yeah, I really don't want to exchange condolences."
"Exchange what?"
Diana scoffed. "Doesn't matter."
"Yes it does." said Tony. "What happened?"
"Why do you even care?"
"Fine," Diana saw Katherine appear next to Tony. "If you don't want to tell him, tell me."
Diana looked from her to him, and laughed a little. "Unbelievable."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Rachel snapped. And Bruce turned towards her. He never put his shirt back on.
"You all have a dark past. All of you. And there's one scoop in each."
"And what's that?" Rachel said.
"Regret." said Bruce. "One of the strongest human emotions."
"Excuse me?" said Rachel, raising her voice.
"Guilt. Pity. All of that."
"You're trying to bring them out, aren't you?" said Rachel. "You think we're off our hooks because we got our powers back, huh? Well, you know what? Anger is also a strong human emotion. And that's what you didn't fail to bring out. Because all I want to do right now is bleed you dry! " she struggled to break free, but couldn't. Bruce slammed his hand next to her and leaned forwards, as close as last time.
"Then do it." he said.
Rachel looked at him in anger. But of course she wouldn't do it, she didn't mean that. Or did she? She didn't even know.
"I can't." said she.
"Good." he went to the bed, to put his shirt back on, but as soon as he grabbed it, Rachel said:
"I can't because I'm stuck to the wall by that little, pesky, annoying whore!" Rachel didn't know where that came from, but it felt like she meant every single word. She didn't care about what the words meant, she only cared that she meant them.
Bruce looked at her, taken aback.
"Rachel-"
"SHUT YOUR PRETTY LITTLE FACE! " and with that, Bruce let out a scream. A wild scream, as though he was being tortured, and (like Joker and Loki), being torn apart into pieces. He held his head in both his hands as he slowly fell to the ground, still screaming.
"Rachel-" he screamed again "Rachel, stop-" and again, louder this time.
Rachel was looking at him with anger. All she wanted was for him to shut up, not to hear his voice again. If it took that, then so be it.
"Rachel-" he was panting now, and he looked in her eyes before letting out another groaning sound, his nose already starting to bleed. "Rachel, stop this. This isn't you, Rachel-" he screamed even louder, Rachel hit him even harder, but he managed to look in her eyes again.
"Stop this! Rachel, you're better than that. Stop this, Rachel!"
Rachel didn't stop, but she saw the look in his eyes for a second. And she remembered that look. He was hurt; he was scared, not from her, but for her, because she and Tony were the only people he truly loved, the only people he had; he was alone, just like he looked in the cafeteria, when he told her about his life story; he was Bruce; this was Bruce; so why be angry when you owe him just as much as he gave you? She fell in shock as realization hit her: if you're angry, why take it to these extremes?
"Oh, no." she said to herself. "Oh, no, Bruce!" she stopped, and Bruce fell silent.
"Bruce?" her voice was shaking, Bruce was getting up from the floor, but stumbling.
"Bruce, please be okay. Please tell me you're fine. Bruce!"
He got up, not saying anything.
"Okay, I know you,re not fine, obviously, but tell me it's nothing serious, tell me you'll be alright, Bruce, please!"
"It's fine." said Bruce, coughing and looking up at her, panting. "I'm... I'm fine."
"No, no, no, no! I did something, this is my fault. I should've never done that, no!"
"Rachel..."
"NO! I HURT YOU!" she struggled to get out "I SHOULDN'T BE ANYWHERE NEAR YOU, I- let me go. Let me go I need to get out of here, let me-!"
Bruce kissed her and didn't let her finish. Rachel didn't know what was going on the first few seconds, so she struggled, trying to talk. But as soon as she processed, she calmed down, and kissed him back. About a minute later, they pulled apart, and Rachel blinked.
"What the hell just happened?" was all she managed to say, whispering.
"Your emotions are heightened." said Bruce. "That's what's going on."

"Why in a thousand hells do you think I'd tell you, of all people, everything?" Diana snapped at Katherine.
"Because I'm your friend." said Katherine, sitting on the bed. Diana scoffed.
"Yeah, sure, my friend!" she screamed. "You're the female version of Freddie Krueger. You honestly think you're my friend?" the next words cam out of her with full hatred, God knows towards what, but it seemed and felt like it was to Katherine. "You're a monster, Katherine!"
Katherine looked at her in shock. She couldn't comprehend what just happened.
"What?" was what came out of her and Tony at the same time.
"You're a monster. Or should I say it in whatever language you bloodsuckers speak in?"
Katherine looked at her friend, or whoever that was at the moment, in shock for a few moments, then put herself together.
"Yeah?" she said. "You're one too, then. Whether you like it or not, you're not human any-" Katherine was cut off with a strange feeling of hotness. She started sweating, and when she looked at her hands, she screamed in pain as she saw and felt them burn. When she looked back up at Diana, she felt her whole body beginning to vaporize. As if she's standing in the sun without her daylight ring. She got up, looking at Diana in unbelievable surprise, and screaming in agonizing pain all the same.
"Stop. Diana." Tony said, looking at her. But Diana didn't listen, she barely noticed him.
"Diana!" he looked from her to Katherine and back. "This is your best friend, you won't do this, this isn't you!"
"Watch me." was all Diana said when she started vaporizing Katherine even more. She was careful not to burn her, because she wasn't going to kill her. Katherine was annoying her, and she wanted to annoy her back, just multiplied the torture. Katherine screamed even louder, and that made Diana smirk, it made her feel victorious, this was fun.
Tony stood in front of Katherine, blocking Diana's view of her being tortured, but not stopping her from inflicting the vampire with pain.
"Stop it." Tony ordered. "You're better than this, stop."
She looked up at him. "You have no idea just how bad I am." And Tony let out a struggling sound as his face turned red and started vaporizing as well. He gritted his teeth together, not tearing his gaze from Diana, but shaking very hard.
"Diana... don't... do this..." Diana didn't listen.
"This is Katherine... I'm Tony... don't do this..."
Diana looked back at Katherine, she had it harder than Tony, so she turned back at him, thinking she should even this out. But as soon as she met his gaze, her heart felt like it broke in two pieces. He was crying, and his tears were vaporizing, he was vaporizing, along with Katherine. And it was because of her. This were Tony and Katherine, and she was doing this to them.
She gasped as she let both of them go, and drop to the bed, sitting down. Katherine healed in seconds, but Tony didn't, so Katherine gave him her blood, got out a blood bag from her jacket pocket and drank as Tony healed up.
Diana still didn't understand what exactly did she just do to them. And she didn't want to. Well, not exactly what did she do to them, just how did she even think of doing something like that.
"What did I just-" Diana started to scream
"Don't." said Tony, holding her hand and smiling at her. "We're fine."
"NO! NO, YOU'RE NOT-"
"You know what would make it up for us?" said Katherine. "If you tell us your story."
"Let's not turn this into A Nightmare On Elm Street, okay?" Tony gave her a look.
"Fine." said Diana. "I'll tell you, fine."
Tony looked back at her, and nodded slowly. Diana crossed her legs and started to tell her story.
"My dad left us when I was a couple of months old, and my mom died when I was eleven in the 2001 Twin Towers crash. So my older brother, Mark, and I were alone for as long as I can remember. He was twenty-two. I had it hard growing up, I never knew my father but I always knew that he left us for a prettier face. My brother had a job and we were doing well- since we also inherited from our mom- but he only came home late at night to eat and sleep. I cooked and cleaned and did everything that needed to be done while he got the money for all that. He said we were like a team, and it felt like we really were. Then they told us our father died from alcohol overdose, and we inherited his money, too. So it got even better. Then, he got liver cancer."
"And..." said Katherine, after a moment of silence. "He died?"
"No." said Diana. "He was in his mid stages, so he was still somehow curable. We had money, but not enough money to cure it completely."
"So..." said Katherine.
"So I started dealing." said Diana. "Heroine, Cocaine, weed, Extacy, you name it. I needed money, a lot of money, and I didn't know where to get it from until I remembered some thugs in our school- I was a junior. Anyways, in a little more than two weeks, I got over fifty thousand dollars, that was enough to at least slow its process because it was just getting worse. I told him, and he asked how I got the money. I told him it didn't matter, but he insisted. And he was the only person I couldn't lie to, so I eventually spilled. Of course, he got angry, said he wouldn't take the money, asked if I tried it when I was dealing or not, I didn't say anything, because I have. He understood that, and got even more angry. I've seen him angry before, especially when we were talking about dad; he remembered him, remembered how bad he was, how he used to beat both mom and him up because mom wouldn't give him "good sex" and he "was the outcome". But anyways, I've never seen him this angry before. And he was looking into my eyes when it happened-" Diana sniffed. She was tearing up, and as soon as she looked at Tony and said her next words, two tears rolled down her cheeks, and it felt as if they were coming from her heart, not her eyes. "heart attack. At 28. Right there, in front of me. I called 911, but he was already taking his final breath. The last thing he told me was: don't screw up."
