Chapter 1
It's a typical day in Hogwarts for me. Several of the Hufflepuff girls are stalking me, but I have one true love. Her name is Cho Chang. We're not in the same House -- she's in Ravenclaw -- but she's wonderful! I'm not the only one who thinks so, either. .
Justin Finch-Fletchley, a boy in my House, walked loyally by my side. Lately, he has been following me around; more so than the girls! The only time I ever listen to what he's saying is when he's telling me about Cho. Sometimes, that's how she and I communicate. We tell Justin what to say, and so on.
As I made my way to the Great Hall, I accidently bumped into someone. Flushing a bright red, I mumbled an apology. I hadn't bothered to pick my head up to look at the person. Whoever it was simply told me that it was fine. The suspense, however, was killing me, internally. I lifted my eyes. And I was glad that I did.
Cho, seeming more beautiful than ever before, was also blushing. Her hands were tucked behind her back. If I hadn't been struggling so hard to keep my jaw shut, my mouth would have hung open. Harry Potter, who had practically defeated You-Know-Who, was staring at her from across the hall. I think he has a bit of a crush on Cho, but nothing could compare to the way I feel about her. .
Moving awkwardly, we brushed past each other. Once I was seated at the Hufflepuff table, I prepared myself for Professor Dumbledore's announcment. He combed his beard half-heartedly with his free hand. His other hand, however, was placed on some sort of fancy goblet. Nobody knew what it was for.
Once everyone had realized that Dumbledore had something to say, the Great Hall quieted. Dumbledore turned his attention to all of the students in the Great Hall. A small smile spread across his face. He dropped his eyes to the goblet in his hands, admiring it. Several people cleared their throats impatiently.
I was hardly listening, but I managed to catch Dumbledore saying that we needed to put our name in the Goblet of Fire. But only if you were 17 or older. After being prodded by several people, I decided to put my name in the goblet. When I was heading up to submit my name, I could have sworn that I saw Ron Weasley, Harry Potter's good friend, groan and roll his eyes.
"You're putting your name in the Goblet of Fire?" Cho called softly, blushing again. I noticed that, whenever she spoke to men, her face turned a darker shade of pink. It made her seem more like an angel than a witch. With her being so beautiful, it made my words come out wrong. Luckily, she understood. I had simply said, "Yes."
"That's...Well, you're really brave, Cedric." Several of the Ravenclaw girls were giggling and pulling her over. She winked and ran back with the girls. My face got hot, and I stared at the floor. Was I brave? Most wizards and witches think so, because I'm in Hufflepuff. But, honestly, I'm not brave. Well, perhaps a bit brave, but not brave enough for Cho's praise . .
Justin tapped my shoulder hard, but I barely noticed. Cho's angelic voice ran in my head. That was, until Dumbledore cleared his throat loudly. Or, I thought he did. I wasn't paying attention. He told us that if the Goblet of Fire spat out your name, you needed to go into another room. That's when the goblet had captured my full attention.
"Viktor Krum!" shouted Dumbledore merrily. Viktor Krum, who was not from Hogwarts, shuffled into the other room. The Slytherins cheered loudly. Had he been sitting at the Slytherin table? I hadn't even noticed! Draco Malfoy, from Slytherin, had to be quieted by somebody from the Ravenclaw table.
"Fleur Delacour!" Dumbledore shouted to the veela. She danced happily into the next room. Hardly any of the men clapped; it was mainly the girls' light applause that echoed in the Great Hall. Cho was grinning, just like she had for Viktor Krum. My fingers were now crossed underneath the table.
"Cedric Diggory!" shouted Dumbledore, winking at me. Grinning proudly, I marched into the next room. The screaming witches and wizards could be heard, even behind the wall. I couldn't hear what Dumbledore was saying, but I heard the creak of the door again. There must have been a mistake of some sort. Coming inside, was Harry Potter.
Was he the Fourth Champion?

After Cedric's death, fans (including me) cry and cry. He died because people say Voldemort didn't want him to see Harry die, but instead, Harry got saved by Cedric's death! Cedric is a hero and is brave for it.
He died and fans did cry!
From all our fans hearts - "R.I.P Cedric Diggory, he will be missed."
And I really hate wormtail. Who else does?
I want him to still be remembered because he wasn't just a bonus... for us fans, he was a hero.
I guess Harry won the Tri - wizrads competition but to me, Cedric would've been a better winner! ♥ ♥ ♥
