Dean open his eyes difficult and lifted his hand to shut out the bright light. When his eyes adjusted to the light he scribbled up on his feet. He was in Heaven. He looked around and saw a small round table with a small wooden box.
He walked to it when he was thrown back on the ground. He turned on his back, just in time to see a fist aiming for his face. Dean grabbed the fist and pushed it away.
“Cas?” he said breathless when he recognized his attacker.
Cas frowned. How did this stranger know his name? No time to think about that. He was an intruder and intruders had to be killed. Those...

“We have no time to waste” Anna said. “I have to go as soon as possible. The longer I stay on one place the easier it gets for the angels to locate me”
“Okay, so what do I have to do? Last time Sam and I went up there they tried to kill us” Dean said.
“Don’t expect anything less” Anna said grim. “They are expecting you, so don’t waste your time on anything other than Meg’s memories”
“Great, where will I find them?” Dean asked.
“The problem isn’t finding it, but getting it” Anna replied mysterious. “When you get the box, you open it and you read the inscription...

Naomi appeared in Cas’ room. She had overheard Anna’s conversation with the Winchesters and now had to do something. If they would restore Meg’s memories she would remember Cas, including her feelings for him.
Then she’d go back to him and the world would be doomed.
Naomi had returned to Heaven to warn Raphael about Dean’s coming. He had assured Naomi that Dean wasn’t going to return home.
Naomi walked to the bed. Again she found Cas lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling. She walked behind the bed and placed her hands on his temples.
A white light radiated from her hands and black veins slithered from Cas’ temples to his head.
Cas lifted his arms and swung them at Naomi. He hit her in the face, but it didn’t stop her from completing her task.
After five painful minutes Cas stopped his attempts to fend Naomi off. His eyelids were shut and he lay still. Naomi let go of him and disappeared.

Julian lay on his bed, trying to fall asleep, when the latch of the door was pushed down. He frowned and sat up straight.
The door opened and dirty shoes appeared, followed by a pair of legs inside a jeans. Then a pale hand appeared and Julian saw a glimpse of red hair.
He climbed out of bed and walked to the door, but before he could open it, Anna stormed inside and grabbed his throat.
“Where is it?” she hissed hoarse. Her voice sounded like she hadn’t used it in a very long time. Julian’s throat was still sore from Cas’ attack and his eyes bulged. “I…” was all he managed to...

Sam had returned to the clinic. He wanted to go to Cas’ room when a caregiver stopped him. “Excuse me, sir, you can’t just go in there” he said when Sam headed for the visitor’s room.
“Why not? I’ve been here before” Sam said confused.
“Doctor Whedon thinks it’s better if Castiel only gets supervised visit from now on” the caregiver explained while he walked up to Sam.
“Why? What happened?” Sam asked curious.
“There’s been an accident” the caregiver replied. “Castiel attacked one of the other residents”
“I’m sure he had his reasons” Sam said defensive....

After his conversation with Meg Craig had a meeting with Sam Winchester. Sam had called him. He knew he was a good attorney, because he had gotten Cas out of jail, so maybe he could do the same for Meg.
“She doesn’t remember anything” Craig started. “But maybe that’s a good thing. She won’t say the wrong kind of things”
“Do you have a strategy?” Sam asked.
“I do” Craig confirmed. “I want the judge to believe she’s actually Erin Gregor and that Evan Trumble is crazy”
“We kind of already told him what happened with Erin” Sam said hesitant. “He knows Meg possessed...

Dean poured Jane a second cup of coffee. He had offered something stronger, but she wanted to stay focused. Without his knowledge she was recording everything he was saying. No one would believe her if she didn’t have any proof.
“So, Castiel was an angel at first?” Jane asked to make sure she heard it correctly.
“Yeah” Dean confirmed and he took a gulp from his beer. “But after Zoey Allen shot me he made a deal with a demon to save my life. After that he became human”
“Zoey Allen was obsessed with him. She killed several people, including her daughter’s babysitter Alexia”...

Craig Smith entered a room. Meg was already sitting there. She had found it strange she had to meet this man in this room.
Craig introduced him as her lawyer. “I’ve read your files. You’ve been accused of several murders, but the only witness we have is now in a mental institution, so his statement would be worthless. Believe it or not, but you have a real chance of getting out of here without a scratch”
Meg looked down depressed. Evan had sworn he’d do anything to get her the death penalty. “What if you can’t proof my innocence?”
“Miss Masters, maybe it helps if I tell you...

Cas had gone back to staring at the ceiling while the nurses took care of Julian. Julian had no business here, Cas thought. He had invaded his privacy. He had been looking for information he could use against him.
And he had found something. Fortunately it was written in Enochian, so Julian wouldn’t be able to read it. He might however found someone who could. He’d have to get the notebook back.
Sam was sitting in a diner. He needed time to think before he’d go back to the motel to tell Dean he had failed. Cas was the only one who could help them, but he was too stubborn to believe Meg...

Julian walked through the aisle of Cas’ room when he saw Sam leaving said room. “You have to be believe me, Cas! Meg is alive! I’ll proof it to you”
Julian let Sam pass and as he passed him Sam narrowed his eyes. This guy looked strangely familiar to him. Julian bowed his head and looked at the floor. He headed towards Cas’ room, feeling Sam’s eyes pinned on his back.
Cas was lying on his bed again, gazing at the ceiling. Julian looked right and left and when he was certain no one was there he entered the room.
He walked to the closets and opened them. There were clothes and towels....

Evan entered the prison. Dean and Sam had explained everything. They had even managed to let him see Erin, so he had no other choice than to believe them.
He asked for Meg Masters.
Ten minutes later they were sitting opposite each other. Evan picked up the phone.
“I know everything” he started emotionless. “Why did you lie to me?”
“What do you mean?” Meg asked concerned.
“You pretended to be my fiancée Erin” Evan continued with a slightly shaking voice.
“I didn’t lie” Meg defended herself. “I don’t remember who I am. You told me my name was Erin and I believed you”
“You don’t remember who you are?” Evan snapped angry. “Well, I’ll tell you. You’re a murderer. You killed my Erin and I’ll make sure you’ll get what’s coming to you!”
He hung up and stood. Meg stood as well and started bashing the glass.
“No! Wait! Listen to me!” she yelled desperate.
Evan walked away while two guards dragged Meg back to her cell.

Dean entered the Cheboygan County Jail. A guard brought him to the visitor’s space. He had to sit on a chair and Plexiglas separated him from the inmates.
A few minutes later another guard brought Meg to the other side of the Plexiglas. She picked up the phone and Dean did the same. “Who are you?” she asked.
“I’m Dean. I’m a friend of Cas. Do you remember Cas?” Dean asked. Meg shook her head. “I know I’m supposed to, but I don’t” “What do you remember?” Dean insisted. “Nothing!” Meg exclaimed frustrated. “All I know is that I woke up in a hospital and that there...

An hour later the bell rang and Evan walked to the window. He saw two unfamiliar boys standing in front of his house. He opened the window and called them. They looked up. They looked rather stupid.
“Mr. Trumble, we were sent to help you with your Ghost problem. Can you let us in, please?” one of them asked.
“Sssshhh!” Evan hissed. “I’m not opening the door. There’s a ladder over there” He pointed to left and the boys simultaneously rotated their heads. “Climb up here”
They walked to the ladder and carried it to the window. They put it against the wall. “You first” “No,...

A guard stood before her cell. “You have a visitor” he said short. He unlocked the cell and walked to her. He cuffed her hands and took her arm.
He walked her to the visitor’s space to a table where Evan was waiting. Erin sat down and Evan smiled weak.
“Hey” he said softly. “How are you?”
Erin shrugged. “I’ve been set up. My…parents…are dead. Someone killed them. And there was a girl and she was killed, too. I watched it happen. But I didn’t kill anyone. I don’t remember killing anyone”
Evan searched his briefcase and conjured a few news articles. He put them on the...

Ruby has spent the rest of the day upstairs, while Erin had been forced to sit put on the couch. When night came Ruby came back downstairs. Her arms and face were bruised and cut.
“What happened to you?” Erin asked tensed, but before Ruby could answer sirens were heard. Ruby walked towards Erin and leaned forward. She whispered something in her ear and the next moment Erin grabbed Ruby’s throat and stood.
“You’re surrounded! Come outside with your hands in the air!” someone shouted from outside. Erin looked down at the gun in her hands. She didn’t know where she got it from, but...

Evan entered his house. He had tried to stay at the office as long as possible. He dreaded the moments he had to go home. There was nothing here that could keep his mind off Erin. What had happened in those years they’d been apart? She must’ve gotten involved with the wrong kind of people. Of course he’d read the articles about the new Bonnie and Clyde couple. Castiel Novak and Meg Masters. But Evan had always had a little spark of hope that this Meg Masters just looked like his Erin and that it was all a big coincidence. However, after Novak and Masters died the killings suddenly stopped....

Evan was working on some files when the door opened and Daniel stormed in. He held a newspaper in his hand and walked towards Evan’s desk, where he put the paper down. Daniel didn’t have to explain what had gotten into him. The front page spoke for itself.
‘Elder couple found dead’
Evan browsed through the pages until he found the article. Daniel drummed with his fingers on his thy, impatiently waiting for Evan to finish. After a few minutes Evan closed the paper and leaned backwards. He went with his fingers through his hair, not sure what to do now.
“She killed her parents, Evan”...

A few hours earlier.
The woman withdrew the knife and stepped out of the car. She opened the door to the driver’s seat and pointed the knife at Erin.
“Get out” she threatened. Terrified Erin obeyed. The woman grabbed her arm and forced her to turn around. “Walk”
Erin walked towards Rose’s house and the woman banged the door with her free fist, leaving stains of blood.
Seven minutes later a distracted woman in a purple dressing-gown opened the door. She looked like she had just gotten out of bed.
“Good evening, ma’am” the woman started smiling. “I was wondering if you would...

“Goodnight, Castiel” the nurse said before closing the door. When the door was closed Cas sat upright. He swung his legs over the edge of the bed and stood. He took the knife that was lying on the pedestal cupboard, without wondering who put it there.
He walked towards the wall and cut horizontal line in his stomach. He drove the knife deeper into his skin, causing blood to flow over his white clothes. He put the knife down and buried his fingers in his stomach. When they were covered in blood he placed them on the wall and started drawing signals.
He kept drawing until the winter sun peaked...

The woman parked her car in front of a takeaway restaurant. “Stay here” she told Erin. “I’m going to get you something to eat”
“What about you?” Erin frowned.
“I don’t need to eat” the woman replied secretive. She loosened her belt and stepped out of the car. Before closing the door she leaned towards Erin. “Try not to draw any attention. I’ll be back in a minute”
Erin nodded and the woman headed towards the restaurant. Erin leaned forward and pushed the radio button. Someone was singing some morbid song that gave Erin the creeps. She changed the station and soon after...
