Julian entered a building. He walked through the aisles and towards the reception. He tapped the desk, demanding the desk clerk to look up.
“Hi, I’d like to see my sister, Jane Simmons. She works here” Julian said.
“Yeah, I know” the desk clerk replied. “I’ll see if she’s available” The desk clerk dialed a number. “Jane, are you busy? Your baby brother is here”
Julian narrowed his eyes annoyed. He was seventeen, hardly a baby.
The desk clerk hung up. “She expects you. You know where to find it?” Julian nodded and walked away.
A few minutes later he opened the door of Jane’s office. Jane was typing on her laptop. Julian walked towards her and sank down on a chair. “I need to talk to you” he said.
“Ssshh” Jane hushed him. “Be quiet. I’m working”
Julian leaned back in the chair and crossed his arms annoyed. A couple of minutes later Jane rotated her chair and folded her hands. “Now what do you want to talk about?”
Julian leaned forward and grabbed the newspaper. He held it up in front of Jane and said: “What is this?”
“From what I’ve heard they call it a newspaper” Jane replied sarcastically.
“No, this” Julian said and he pointed at the headline of the front page. “Where is the article on Castiel Novak? He’s alive! That should be front page news!”
Jane grabbed the newspaper and put it in her drawer, before she explained. “My employer doesn’t want anyone to know yet. Not until we have the full story”
“What about those reporters outside the hospital?” Julian asked.
“I gave them a tip, but without any proof they can’t publish anything either. Novak is kind of a touchy subject. They can’t take it lightly. They need evidence”
“But you will post the story, right? And you won’t spare him, right?” Julian asked eager.
“I’ll decide how I write it, okay?” Jane commented sharp.
“Jane, he tried to kill me. That’s the first thing he tried to do when he rose from the grave” Julian said agitated.
“Aren’t you overreacting a little?” Jane asked demeaning.
“What? No! I’m the victim here!” Julian complained.
“Of course you are” Jane nodded. “Well, if you’re so eager on having that story published you might want to let me get back to work?”
“Yeah, okay” Julian said and he stood. “And remember, Novak’s the bad guy and I’m the victim”
“I will try to keep it in mind” Jane promised. “Close the door when you leave”

“Pssst”
Dean looked up.
“Pssst. Over here”
Dean looked around and tried to figure out where the hissing came from.
“Behind the wall”
Dean walked to the wall, sank down on the floor and pressed his ear against the wall. “Who’s there?”
“You don’t remember me? I’m offended!” the voice behind the wall said.
Dean narrowed his eyes; he recognized that voice.
“Gabriel?” he guessed.
“In the flesh” Gabriel confirmed. “Okay, so don’t take this the wrong way, but what the hell are you doing here?” He heard Dean sigh. “Long story? Hey, if you tell me yours I’ll...

Meg was lying on her bed in her cell.
“Wake up, sleepy head” a female, mundane voice said.
“Go away” Meg muttered, her eyes closed.
“Why would I do that? I like the sight of you behind bars” Ruby said full of malicious pleasure.
“You said you were my friend” Meg complained. “You set me up”
“Oh, well” Ruby shrugged. “What can I say? I’m a demon. It’s in my nature”
Meg sat up. “What?”
“I’m a demon” Ruby repeated, emphasizing every word. “I killed your parents and I’m going to kill you, too”
“You’re crazy” Meg said disgusted. “There’s no such...

Meg felt quite popular when she was once again summoned from her cell. This time a woman with chestnut brown hair was sitting at the other side of the glass. She picked up the phone and waited for the woman to talk.
“Hello, Meg” Jane said.
“Do I know you?” Meg asked.
“You don’t” Jane answered. “My name is Jane Simmons. I work for Denver Post as a journalist”
“I’m not interested” Meg said quick.
“Wait!” Jane called when Meg wanted to hang up. “I can help you”
“How? You’re not a lawyer” Meg said suspicious.
“I will talk to a few people, on one condition”...

Julian was sitting opposite an older man. A doctor. Julian had told him he’d been having nightmares and that he was afraid of going outside. He was scared that he’d hurt his girlfriend.
“You understand that is a closed institution, Julian?” the doctor asked him. Julian nodded. “Yes. I don’t like being locked up, but it’s for the best. I don’t want to jeopardize anyone’s safety” he explained.
“Very well” the doctor replied. He picked up the phone and pressed a number. “Lyn, I have a patient here…Okay” He hung up “A nurse will bring you to your room”

It was only eight pm, but the events from the past few days had exhausted Evan. He took off his clothes and got into bed. He closed his eyes and tried to catch the sleep.
Erin appeared at the end of the bed. A faint and compassionate smile appeared on her face. Poor Evan, she thought. She wandered towards the bed and sunk down. She reached out her hand and touched Evan’s cheek.
It was as someone was rubbing an ice cube against his cheek. Evan woke up, but there was no one there.
Erin leaned towards him and whispered: “Open your eyes”, but Evan only felt a cold wind. He stepped out of...

Evening came and Cas was all alone in his room. He liked it best that way. He didn’t want anyone’s company, especially not Dean’s. He would only say that Cas is better off without Meg. He would say that Meg had it coming.
Suddenly the latch of the door went down and the door opened. A woman with dark blond hair tight up in a notch entered the room and walked towards the bed. She sunk down and looked down upon Cas.
“You don’t recognize me, do you?” the woman realized as Cas stared at her in wonder. She stood and walked to the door. When she walked outside she bumped into Dean.
“Who...

“Okay, okay, they’re gone! Will you stop being such a whining bitch, now?” the brunette woman scoffed as she jumped of the washing table.
Erin looked up and wiped her tears. She sought support against the shower lining and stood.
“You again! Who are you?” she hissed frustrated. The woman picked up a towel and handed it to her.
“I told you. I’m your friend” she smiled mischievous. Erin jerked the towel out of her hands and wrapped it around her body.
“Friends don’t try to scare their friends to death” Erin snapped.
“Scare you?” the woman asked, playing innocent. “I...

“No…yeah, I understand” Dean mumbled disappointed. He hung up and looked up at Sam, who was on his computer.
“No luck?” Sam asked unessential.
“No” Dean replied. “They say they can’t give away that kind of information. Ridiculous”
Sam turned back to his computer when he heard a familiar tune, notifying him he had an email. He opened the email, which contained a video. Sam played the video.
“Dean!” he shouted and Dean jumped up. “Dean, come here. I think I’ve found Cas” Dean hurried to Sam and watched the video. A crowd was standing in front of a hospital. They were...

While Erin tried to get some sleep Evan cleaned the table. Erin clearly had been hungry, but Evan himself didn’t have that much of an appetite. Erin’s return had awoken conflicted emotions inside Evan. He was relieved and happy to have his girl back. But the way she was right now, so distant and cold, wasn’t the way he remembered her. Erin had been full of life, couldn’t stop talking for a minute and always had a huge smile on her face. Erin had a beautiful smile and Evan hadn’t seen it since she had awoken from her coma.
As he did the dishes someone rang the bell. Evan cursed and...

As Evan opened the door of the hospital cameras blinded his sight and several microphones were forced in his face.
“Mister Trumble, can you tell us what happened with Miss Gregor?” a woman with chestnut brown hair asked. Evan turned to her.
“My fiancée has been through a lot. She will need time to recover” he said. He tried to walk past the crowd, but they blocked him and again several microphones blocked his sight.
“Mister Trumble, word has it Miss Gregor is suffering from memory loss. Is this true?” the woman with the chestnut brown hair asked.
“Like I said, Erin will need...

Meg opened her eyes and looked around confused. It took her a while to realize she was in the spare room. She got out of bed and walked to the door. When she was outside she room she heard noises from outside her and Cas’ room. She walked to it as in trance and opened it.
Jo was putting clothes in boxes.
“What are you doing?” Meg asked slowly.
“Oh” Jo exclaimed surprised and she turned around. “I didn’t hear you come in”
“What are you doing?” Meg repeated trembling.
“I’m storing Cas’ clothes in boxes. I figured you wouldn’t be able to put yourself up to it, so I volunteered”...

Sam parked the car in front of their motel. Dean was in no state to drive and even if he was he’d be capable of crashing into a wall. He helped Dean walk to the porch, while he tried to find his key with his free hand.
He could’ve saved himself the trouble, though. The door opened and Jo appeared. She moved aside and let Sam carry Dean inside. He brought him to the couch and put him down. Dean fell down and closed his eyes.
Sam walked towards Jo.
“Is he going to be okay?” Jo asked with a concerned nod at Dean.
“Physically, sure” Sam replied. “Emotionally, I don’t think so. Not...

Sam and Dean parked their car in front of the fifth church they found. The previous four had all been empty. They hoped luck would be on their side for a change.
Dean pushed the door of the church open and looked inside.
“Hello?” he called. When they didn’t get a response he cursed. “Have all priests been abducted by aliens or something?”
“I don’t know. Maybe Lucifer foresaw our plan and prevented it by killing all priests” Sam replied concerned.
They heard a noise somewhere at the back of the church. The door of the confessional opened and a man in robes came out.
“Father!”...

Dean and Jo were sitting in a restaurant. Jo had convinced Dean to go out so that he could take his mind of Cas and whatever it was that kept making him ill.
“You look pretty” Dean said, with a faint smile.
“I didn’t even change my outfit” Jo answered cynical.
Dean looked down and Jo recognized his expression.
“Are you texting?” she asked upset.
“What?” Dean said quick. “No, no, I was…I was checking time…”
“why? You bored?” Jo asked offended.
“No!” Dean denied firm. “I just…I don’t want to leave Cas alone for too long. He’s sick and I’m afraid that...

Cas was sitting up in his hospital bed. There was a bandage around his neck and his hands and feet were bandaged. Dean, Sam, Jo and Meg were sitting around the bed.
“This picture is starting to get too familiar” Cas said grumpy. He lifted up his hand and tried to scratch his neck, but didn’t really succeed.
Meg took his hand and cast him an approaching look.
“What? It itches. You didn’t get stabbed by a piece of a mirror” Cas muttered.
“Don’t be such a baby” Meg reproached him.
“I almost died in that maze” Cas defended himself upset.
“So did I, but you don’t hear me complaining”...
