Erin stared out of the window as the plane floated in the air. Evan walked towards her with two glasses of champagne. He coughed to get her attention. She turned her head and accepted the glass, grateful to have a reason not to talk.
She took a large sip, feeling the alcohol going straight to her head. She regretted it right away. She hadn’t been sleeping at all, though she’d tried. She had been tossing and turning all night and when Evan had begged her to get to sleep she had been staring at the ceiling. She was lying in a strange bed in a strange house. There was a man next to her she didn’t recognize and she was about to meet her parents, whom she remembered nothing about.
The champagne made her feel dizzy and she rested her head against the window. She closed her eyes and soon fell asleep.
A burning sensation washed over Erin and she opened her eyes. She was hanging on a rack and flames were licking her body. A brunette girl was looking at her, a vicious smile on her face and a knife in her hand. The girl walked towards Erin and placed the knife on her throat. The girl called her name, repeatedly, and with each calling the voice became more masculine.
“Erin!” Evan shouted, while shaking her. Erin woke up heavily breathing. She could still feel the fire trying to swallow her whole. “I’m here. I’m right here with you” Evan said comforting.

Since there was no way any of them was going to get any sleep, they packed their bags and loaded the Impala. Dean placed himself behind the wheel, Sam sat next to him and Meg on the backseat.
“First stop: Pontiac, Illinois” Dean said, as he started the engines and drove ahead. As they drove Dean turned on the radio to break the silence.
Meg stared out of the window. She felt utterly powerless. Had she still been a demon she would’ve just zapped herself to him. But then maybe she wouldn’t have felt this way and she wouldn’t even bother to go find him.
Maybe this was a sign. Maybe she was supposed to let go and go back to her old life.
No!, she reproached herself. You’re not going back to killing for fun. You didn’t get this far to throw it all away. You’re going to find Cas and get him back.
“Everything okay, there?” Dean asked.
“Yeah, I’m good” Meg replied with a mischievous smile.
