Ma-Ti is from the Amazon rainforests and raised by a Kayapo Indian shaman and his ring uses the power of heart to instill caring, passion, and sympathy into the people of the world to care for the planet. He can also use this power to communicate with animals telepathically.

Ma-Ti is the youngest and the most impressionable, but his youth and innocence also aids in the level of sympathy that keeps the group together.

Ma-Ti also has a pet monkey named Suchi.
