when i read this question i was so ready to think all of them (although of course i would never add that answer lol) but actually none of them
i think they all made such good storylines and passion, the body, seeing red and chosen are some of the best episodes, they may be some of the most awful episodes emocionally but they are some of the best

I absolutely agree with debs. But if I had to pick one, it would be Anya because she died at the end, and didn't advance the storyline as much as the others. With Tara, Joyce, and Jenny, each of them affected the show in a big way and their deaths led to the growth of a lot of the characters.

true about anya but someone had to die at the end and except from xander and wood, i wouldn't have wanted any of the other characters to have died

i decided to pick jenny because I love giles and jenny as a couple and would have liked to have seen more of them

random thought what if angelus had of turned jenny in to a vampire? would that have been worse for giles?

I'm wavering between Anya and Jenny but I made my pick Anya, I wanted at least one of the Scoobies to get a happy ending (well apart from being alive! lol) I think her and Xander could have really worked. I think Faith dying in the battle would have been really poignant, coming back into the fold and dying for the cause but hey that's just me.

I feel Joss could have done tonnes more with Jenny. Actually, that's sort of why he said he killed her-- because she had the potential to be a very interesting character, and he didn't want viewers to feel that just because you're an interesting, important character doesn't mean you're safe.

Everyone knows I didn't like Tarah, and it makes sense that not all of the Scoobies could come out of the final battle alive, so the only other person I would have chosen is Joyce. But Jenny is just so much wasted potential.

Hmm interesting thought debs..... I think it would have been harder for Giles if Jenny had been turned, especially if he had to kill her himself. At least now Jenny might be in heaven, but do we really know what happens to vampires once they turn dust? I mean, the demon doesn't get the soul, so its just floating around somewhere in the ether (sp?), and doesn't get to rest.

Anya is my favorite out of all those and I hate the fact they killed her just to have someone die. I do love Tara, but I don't like her and Willow together and unless they were going to let her live her own life I think she's better off dead.

i pick tara cuz tara kicks ass and its as simple as that.

joyces storyline was very good and shed been on for 5 years, and at that point season 5 was to be he last, not a fan of tara or anya, but jenny i really would have liked to have seen more of her n giles!

loved her i think tara and joyces were really necessary and helped character development and i dont mean to sounds bitchy but i didnt care too much bout jennys
