i was going to pick grave because everything seems sort of sad but real and it has that really nice shot of buffy and dawn and her sort of realization that life is beautiful and the world is something to celebrate not to hide from and fight but then of course spike messes up my little theory on that lol
so i think graduation, it's the end of high school, everything blown up (literally) although it still does sort of have faith in the mix, but prophecy girl you know isn't the end i mean come on there was nothing to rap up lol and becoming there was too much stuff up in the air, buffy and her mum, how buffy was going to deal ect ect although i do quite like restless as a ending lol just a random funny thing but with a buffy and friends message

I'm not sure, I'm pretty much fond of the way everything ended. I didn't know which one to pick actually. But I think I like grave for the reasons you said.

Graduation is the end of an era. Highschool is over and the safe places like the library are gone. There is a finality to it because something ends.

If they ended on Prophecy Girl it would have been written off as a failed show so I'm just going to skip that. Grave would have worked out well with the exception of Spike. As far a Becoming, I think it was a brillant finale but Buffy leaving would have been a message of running away and it couldn't end there. Restless is, for me, sort of a focus on foreshadowing and there is no way they could end like that.

for restless though, it stands out as a finale because it's not some epic battle it comes down to buffy vs the original slayer and her basically saying i am not going to be like you and those before me, i won't die young because i have my friends, i think that has some sort of finality about it and like i said it stands out plus i like the idea of buffy ending on a high note for once

I'm confused... you mean, which would make a better end for the whole series and not just the season? Why can't we pick "The Gift"?

because the gift was intended as a final episode it was meant to be the end of buffy sort of end end as in end of the whole series
but then sarah signed another contracted and buffy was resurrected, these finales in these options were not intended to be the end of buffy just ends of there own season

Graduation was amazing :) That was ny favourite season final.. That last episode of season 3 had loads of my favourite characters.

It's the best, if I had to choose, ending. Although Prophecy Girl was made to be a series finale just incase the show ended. Season two's finale had too many questions left off. Season four I didn't really care for. And season 6, well I didn't really like that season.

I still like the actual series finale, though.

it was between this and prophecy girl, becoming was too much of a cliffhanger, season 4 wasnt enough and seson 6 again left us with them quesiton what th hel is happening to spike!

It's like the end of an era anyways so it has to be this. Plus that Buffy / Faith fight is good enough to end any season.

Does anyone else love the bit where Giles stabs the Mayor? I love how protective he is in this bit and when Angel throws him across the hospital as well. Awesome.
