Sad and annoyed. It isn't Buffy without the people responsible for making the character worthwhile. It's just people seeing the character only for the money she can make them rather than her importance as a cultural icon and role model.
It wont have any of the show's team, or even characters. As far as I'm concerned this is in no way a Buffy movie, it's a tacky rip off that got away with using the same name.

I also just think it's lame to 'reboot' such a recent franchise, reboots are for things that have aged and need an update, Buffy is far, far too recent. And it gives me icky feelings that they are messing with a character without the creator's consent.

well on one hand i dont think i would see it inless Sara's is in it - but on the other hand it would be cool to see the cool vampirs - not the new onecs that sparkel = the ones that bust into flames - the ones that can or my have souls - not this love crap

I could almost say all of the above. I want Joss and company to do more Buffy. But as much as I loved the TV show I don't think a new movie could be much worse than the first. Prefer Joss always but I'm excited in spite of myself.

I'm sad it's with new cast , but I missed Buffy so much , it's better than nothing

Of course she wants to be a part of it. Who wouldn't? But I highly doubt they will use her.

I really don't know what to think. In one way I am intrigued... I'd have to say I am interested in seeing how well they do without the original cast and writers. On the other hand it's just not the same.

But the question is, is it better than nothing?

I hate the fact that none of the actors of even Joss are going to be a part of it, and it just pisses me off. The show ended great and now this movies going to screw it up.

If Joss and the original cast was doing it, I would be dead from an excitement overload. But no Joss? I'm disgusted.
