ok i thought this would be easy to justify sayin it was the most shocking, i was crying etc, but i am now realising that i did the same with flutie joyce kendra tara even maggie was out of the blue so i cant really explain why this one i think its just because it was angel who did it and so it had more imapct!

this one was the most shocking to me personally because tara was my fave character... wold you call it Wara or Twillow or Tillow???

I can't watch this ep with out crying my eyes out the whole way through!!!

when i first watched buffy it would have been seeing red because of alyson hannigans reaction
however watching over joyce and her brain tumor storyline now it always really upset me personally, due to a tumor in my brain i have myself, so i can see all the procedures she goes through and it's sometimes like watching stuff that all too familiar

Joyce Summers. That whole episode was heartbreaking and real.

Wow...I could see how that would be really upsetting debs. I know that you said that you're gonna be OK for right now...but watching the effects of a tumor through a TV show? That must be awfully difficult. You are so amazing debs...such a trooper through the thick and thin. And I usually agree with every comment you post...you know which ones I don't agree with :)

I would have to say that Angel's death in season 2 was the most shocking for me. Not just cuz I like Bangel or cuz I like Angel... but his death really got to me. I cry everytime I watch that ep. And the first time I saw it, I was in a state of shock/depression for days.

However, Joyce's death is a close second. I never saw it coming...I thought she was going to be just fine. And then there she is...again lost of tears followed.

it's fairly serious but i count my blessings that it's not imediatley serious and i have a lot of options for my treatment that i don't have to choose for a while now, the link above is a soapbox i wrote about it in the advice spot

just glad i don't live in tv world as for some reason writers seem to like a death via brain tumor lol i mean joss does it twice

I was so shocked - i just didn't see it coming at all! But Tara was a very close second - i was devestated for will!

it was a hard choice because i loved tara and i cried when joyce died and i was surprised when anya got killed from behind

This one was so hard. At first I was like Jenny definitely, But Joyce was soooo sad and same with Tara! They were amazing! I think Anya was the most shocking for me just because it was right at the end and she was so close to ending the series alive! haha

the other brain tumor one was lie to me, remember that guy from roswell wanting to become a vampire because he was going to die?

Joyce's Death was the most upsetting. The whole storyline they did about the brain tumor and how buffy and Dawn had to deal with it all was really sad. I think "the Body" was one of the most saddest episodes on BtVS for me.
I also didn't expept Tara to get Killed, i thought she was going to last till the end. That was sad aswell. So that one Shocked me abit.

It was between this and Anya, but this was more emotional for me because there was no music in the episode 'The Body', which made it all the more sad.

Joyce just came out of nowhere. I thought she was all better.I think it was also because her death had no supernatural element to it. And Dawn's reaction...

I was so upset! I loved Anya, I could see how Joyce's death made sense as far as the show went, because things progressed differently without her. Tara led to Willow's evil streak, which was a wicked part of the show. Anya's death was just so unnecessary, it totally didn't make sense to me!

Tara was the most shocking and the most most upseting! Tara was an awesome character and I loved her character. Her and Willow was Willows best couple but not the best couple on the show, Buffy and Spike was the best x

I went with shocked. I did not expect Anya to die, especially not suddenly. but The Body is the most upsetting because it's just so sad.
