I think Spike is to much like her to work. They both have the same outside, I'm a loner shell, but really need to be around others. They had too much of the same insecurities.

Angel would be better for her. He would balance out her uncontrollable nature.

I'm gonna go with Spike. Yeah she had a thing for him...but I don't think she was attracted to Angel. She was more attracted to Angelus. To the dark, dangerous, and torture loving thing Angel had been...not who he really was. She seemed to start to connect with Spike in season 7 too. And her and Spike together would have been one of the most interesting relationships ever :) I guess we already saw her wit "Angelus" and I wasn't too thrilled with that pair up...

I agree .. she was more attracted to Angelus , and when he was like that,they were perfect together.
