i loved bad spike with drusilla! didnt like him wen he went all soft!

I love every aspect of Spike, but loved him best when he was chipped and in love with Buffy. It really showed the human and demon aspects of him and what exactly he'll do for love.

The chipped Spike shows there is something more to him, something more human. That he's more than an evil vampire, that he can love more deeply than most human men. It showed something Angelus could never be without being cursed. It showed that he could choose to be good for love, which is better in my books then being cursed with a soul because you ate a gypsy.

I agree we do seem the most of him when he's chipped. I love the eveil Spike, so I guess I like him best in his earlier chipped days...when he and Buffy still hate each other, and he still revels in the kill and all that jazz

naa i like him in season 5 where he's still bad ass and loves the kill but he loves buffy, but his love for buffy is a very demented, twisted love,

first picked ensouled spike, but after reading the comment of NikaDawson, I also choose chipped spike. It indeed showed that he was a paradox amongst vampires, the most human of them all.

I love all Spike, but I'm using both Buffy season 7 and Angel season 5 to make my final decision.

He doesn't love her for crying out loud!! : ) There is no human in vampires, it's said so many times...anyway, back on topic.

Bad was better, didn't mind him chipped in S4 coz he brought a lot of comic relief to the show, S5 & S6 - no thanks. S7 - bit wet, Angel S5 - brilliant.

i love spike chipped... is it me or when spike was given a soul his cheeks(which are usually really nice) looked really fat? I love the bad boy thing!

I love Spike in any way he comes in, but my favorite Spike seasons are 4 & 5 :)
