All the way from seasons 1 - 7, and I still re-watch all the episodes. I grew up with Buffy.

I started watching in 1997 and watched from Seasons 1-5, I hated that Angel was gone and I hated that Dawn had come. I own seasons 1-3, "The Angel Years," and I watch them all the time.

I start watching buffy from season 4 and angel from season 1. Have all the dvd's of both buffy and angel. I don't like the angel-years very much, although I like season two cause spike and dru are the big bad there:)

I think I started watching in season 5 or maybe it was half way through season 4. My friend was really into it and I watched a couple of eps at her house, she had posters, mags, books, loads of stuff. Now I'm just the same :)
I watched till season 7 and bought all of the DVD box sets so I've seen every ep like a million times. And now I'm reading season 8 (which I love).

I started with season one, but that wasn't until like 2006-ish. The show wasn't big where I grew up.

I think sometimes which couple we ship has to do with what season we started watching from. I'm not saying this is true all the time, but sometimes it is. Many people who ship Spuffy didn't start watching from season 1, and many of the few people who ship Briley started watching from season 4. I mean, I don't know that many Spuffy fans who also shipped Buffy/Spike all the way back in season 2.

I started watching from the very first airing of the very first episode. I was in school at the time, and I continued to watch it faithfully through season 3. During season 4, I watched it here and there, but I worked nights and had started a serious relationship, so I just wasn't able to watch every episode. By season 5, I had moved in with the guy, and was still working nights, and I didn't really care for Dawn, so I stopped watching. After the show had finished and come out to DVD entirely, I was able to go back and watch at all. I'm very glad that I did, because I was able to make peace with Dawn (sort of), and I love the show in it's entirety.

I just started watching it off and on last month or so. I am almost done with season 2.

Technically I first watched season 3, but I didn't watch regularly during seasons 3 or 4. Season 5 was the first that I watched every week. It was also that season that I purchased all the episodes on VHS on ebay and watched through the first four seasons. I kept watching through season 7, and now own all the dvds.

I watched all after, then rewatched, then rewatched, totally own all of them and all angel and love rewatching.

Wow, I didn't realize how many fans started watching after the show was over, or even half way through. When I posted this, I thought for sure almost everyone would pick season 1. Personally, it's really hard for me to get my friends to watch BtVS now that its been off the air for so long. Whenever I bring it up, they look at me like I'm crazy and ask why I have nothing better to do than rewatch old episodes of some show that started in 1997.
Well, looking at the results, it also supports my theory that the couple we ship has something to do with when we started watching. I mean, your not going to be a very big Bangel fan if you started watching after season 3, are you? Your most likely a Spuffy fan, or (rarely) a Briley fan. I have never, ever met someone who likes Parker, so I'm not going to talk about him.

I'm not sure if I started watching during the 2nd or 3rd season. After that, I caught most of the earlier episodes in reruns, and watched most of what followed. My favorites are seasons 2 thru 5, and those I own.
I'm not sure if you'd call me a Spuffy or a Bangel fan, because in ways I'm divided. For fantasy sake, I love Spike, but for relationship, I preferred Angel. I didn't care for Riley.

OK this is sort of confusing. My dad showed me my first Buffy Episode (welcome to the hellmouth) when I was 12--so 2003. I loved it and finnished the first season with him. However, he lost interest in buffy around season 4 and wouldn't watch it with me anymore. SO, I would steal his DVDs from time to time and watch them when he wasn't home. Then I turned 16 and got a laptop. I became something of a computer guru and googled "watch buffy online for free". This lead me to AOL video where I rewatched the first season. However I didn't want to pay to watch Buffy because I need the money for car insurance (other wise I probably would have paid the $$) Anyways, I continued my search and found this site which allowed me to watch all 7 buffy seasons from beginning to end. My addiction grew and I joined the site so I could start commenting on my fave vids. Then I got into picks....and everything to do with Buffy. After I finnished season 7, I debated over whether to wath Angel. I knew that most people say you should watch them Buffy 4:01 Angel 1:01, etc. However I was so mad Angel left Buffy that I never watched his show. I talked myself into watching the first ep and became addicted to it as well (his theme song is just amazing!!) As I worked my way through the first 3 seasons I became frustrated that I couldn't find any more eps past 3:12. SO I went back to stealing my Dad's DVDs (he really got into Angel) and finnishing the series in my spare time. I then got really into picks; especially Bangel/Spuffy realted picks. I then started the Bangel spot and have sinced immersed myself in the Buffyverse. I also realized that I have become addicted to Fanpop and just never shut up when I post comments. Appologies to all who hate me and my lengthy comments...just to let you know....I ignore all hate mail :)

OK I promised I would shut up...but I want to add something :) I too have a hard time getting my friends to watch Buffy and Angel. They all look at me like I'm crazy :( I started buying a lot of books and what not but my Dad thought I was crazy and gave them away... >:z I love to rewatch the entire series...especially season 2 (though I'm rewatching season 7 right now). I'm a hardcore Bangel shipper which I guess follows the theory that "when you started watching corresponds with who you ship for" Here's my question...why is it so hard to get people to watch Buffy? I talked so much about it that some of my Dad's friends ended up getting really into it...but I can't get my friends to watch it. Why?

As far as the shipperness goes, i think it has partly to do with when you start watching, but I didn't watch consistently until season 5, but am still hardcore Bangel. In fact, I can't stand Spuffy at all.

I started watching Buffy just for something to do before I went to work. I used to work in a bar and started at 7:30 on Thurdsdays which meant I always missed the end of Buffy as it started at 6:45. So I used to watch the re-run when I got in from work on a Friday so I could see the end! First ep I saw was 'Consequences' I think, and I thought it was pretty cool...so I went and bought S1 & S2 on VHS. I've now got all seven seasons of Buffy and five of Angel on DVD and I've watched them through so much. Just on S7 again now.

I got my girlfriend (of the time) into it and my best mate but they stopped watching it around S5. Best mate still watched Angel though, he just thought Spuffy was balls.

i loved buffy, but i don't lik,e dvds, so i only recently started watching it.it was really hard to get buffy on video, and i doubt i can get angel...

I was five, although I never was able to watch the whole series from start to finish, I did buy the dvds though.

I started with season 1 and ended with season 7 :) I still watch it now all the time. Even though i was little i still watched it with my sister.

I started it in April 2008, finished it in June 2008, now it's the first series i wanna watch again and again...

I was way to young for season one. But i've seen it now like a hundred times. The same with all the episodes

Season 3, i think but i soon got the first box set after that and now have them all coz i love the show more than anything i am even startin to collect them on Dvd in case the tapes wear out that how sad i am!

i only just started watching last year in december and fell in love with it i watch it every weekend for about 8 hours sometimes more its a friken awesome show!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All seasons, all episodes and from time to time i keep watching them from the start. At the moment i'm watching the last season again.

I did start watching with season 1. However, I was four (I watched a lot of shows considered to old for me with my mom when I was young. hahaha! I watched lots of the sci-fi genre.) so I didn't actually remember a lot of the early seasons (therefore, I have bought the DVDs and watched it all again and again. hehe!). Anyways, I remember watching almost every episode in every season until six and I think I only watched about half of them and then maybe one or two from early season seven but I don't really remember... lol. I was 11 so give me a break. lol. So, after high school when I had some money (because I still lived at home with no rent and on a scholarship) and bought the entire series and watched the whole thing through over christmas break that year. :) It was pretty great. lol.

I own all Angels and 2-6 of Buffy. Need that 1 and 7. I wanna see Angel in season 7
