He should have been with Anya, I think that they should have got married. They were so good together!

he doesn't deserve buffy because of the amount of time he has tried to get angel killed (the one with faith and her "new watcher" in becoming where he tells buffy to kick his ass)
he doesn't deserve willow because he ignored her all those year
he doesn't deserve cordelia because he cheated on her
he doesn't deserve anya as he left her at the alter and then expected them to get back together

basically he's a jerk

he is not a jerk he is a boy trying to do something right, that not always ends up ok.

i liked the character it added much of the fun in the series

I thought Xander/Anya was the best pair up. But I never really cared much for his character after he left Anya at the alter.

amazondebs I agree with you about Xander not really deserving any of them. I like Xander, really I do, but he's not a good person to be in a relationship with. I actually did like Xander/Anya until he left her at the alter. I could have dealt with that, but when he wanted them to continue dating afterword that's what made me think they weren't right for eachother. But out of all those options that's who I thought he was best with.

Plus, I don't think I could have picked Willow cause of my Willow/Tara love, Buffy cause of my Spike/Buffy love, or Cordelia cause of my Cordelia/Angel love, lol.

Xander definately blew it with Anya...he and Cordy were amazing together but he and Anya were made for each other. I agree with Debs about the ignoring Willow thing...they could have been good but he didn't even notice her until he couldn't haver her. And I can't stand him and Buffy (not just cuz I'm a Bangel fan). He was so obsessed over her he tried to get Angel killed (season 2 when rather telling Buffy that Willow's trying to re-ensoul him he's like "kick his ass"). That just creeps me out. I can understand him having a thing for the Buffster cuz she's amazing, but he took it to disturbing levels. And Nika's right about the relationship issues. He blew any good thing he had going for him

i think thats probabaly why never really grew to like anya, becasue i just alwasy wanted a xander cordy reunion, i mean he still cared for her up until the end even if she was still being an absolute biatch (he derserved it) but then anya just showed up made the ulternate reality then asks out xander to the prom i think him and cordy should have gone together! dam wesley! lol!

I pick Anya, i loved them two together and hated the episode 'Hells Bells' when they didnt get married in season 6. , I think Xander suited Anya, never liked him with Buffy coz i was hooked on Buffy and Angel too much, i did like him with cordy and didnt like it when he cheated with willow
