Truly, this was a hard one to decide. On first instinct, I would have said Willow, but I'm kind of basing my answer on all Buffy seasons, including the comics of season 8. In that season, Buffy doesn't know if she can always trust Willow, because of Willow's tendancy to go all haywire at times. In season 8, she also falls in love with Xander after realising he's the one guy who has been there for her since the very beginning. However, Xander eventually comes to realise he loves Dawn, but I know Buffy still has that sweet spot for him, even though Angel will always be her guy...

Yeah haha that's kewl. Never heard anyone actually say Alex before and yeah I never actually read the comics but I try to keep up to date with them. I just look them up. Yeah, a lot of new stuff happens in the comics. Willow gets a snake/witch girlfriend and Angel returns as the Big Bad, with a kinda weird twist

She's kinda with Kennedy. It's that most of the world hates Slayers now (Buffy now runs a worldwide slayer organization with watchers all over the world, including Willow, Kennedy, Faith, Giles, Xander and Robin, as well as other potentials, who look after their own squadron of slayers), because Harmony created a reality show on MTV, which makes vampires look good and makes slayers look like terrorists. So Angel pretends to be a bad guy called Twilight for the entire 8th season, He did this to bring all the anti-slayer groups together, because they will cause more damage seperately. Plus he can keep an eye on them. It is later discovered that Angel returned because since he is a vampire and Buffy is a slayer, they are technically polar opposites, thus creating a paradise-like dimension also known as Twilight. Angel's plan was to win back Buffy and live for eternity in this dimension, but the catch is that without them on Earth, it is left unprotected. Oh yeah and Willows kinda cheating on Kennedy with this snake thing because it can show Willow her potential power and Willow becomes power-hungry in the 8th season
