I think it's important for Buffy to have all of these, it's what makes her character compelling.
Like I enjoy seeing her all tough and kickass, but if she was just that and didn't have moments of pain and humour and love and all the other things on the list I wouldn't be at all interested in her.

I agree with Asvini- all of these elements make Buffy into a whole person, not just a caricature.

Though i do really love funny Buffy!

actually as fanfly and asvini said,buffy wouldn't be the same without all these.that's why i love her!!i picked heartbroken buffy because then we see that she is not only a character with no feelings but she actually has another more sensitive side.

heartbroken buffy...blech. along with buffy in love (at least in love with angel), and emotional buffy. passionate buffy and buffy in pain are awesome, and i especially love kick-ass buffy and funny buffy.

kick-assery is very important.

not to mention rocks :D i agree with asvini and fanfly :)
