i personally could not see them gettin on and having full blown conversations, i dont think they would hate each other but i cudnt imagine them being friends!

I have a slightly different point of view with I am sure is colored by fanfiction. I don't see them having full blown conversations - partly because of Oz's laquantic mannerisms and because Spike isn't big on accepting that he has friends - but I would think there would be a sort of comradrie that would exist between them, sort of like the relationship I believe would exist between Tara and Spike. They are both outsiders, Scoobies by association and there is always that question of if they belongs. Without Willow, neither Oz or Tara would be in the fold; without the chip and then his love for the Summers' women Spike wouldn't be around.

I don't picture them getting together to play some pool at the Bronze but I think there would be a sort of bond between the two.

I also feel that I should add that while I feel Tara would be more accepting because she never dealt with the real Big Bad, I do think that Oz would have been able to accept him trying to change, because he himself is working on controlling his wolf side.

Oh, they're perfect. Once Oz gets over the whole bottle in Willow's face thing. Oh yeah.

he was still friends with angel after everything that he put everyone else through and mentioning the soul might help seeing how he changed for better might make it better.

I just can't see their personalities blending all that well.

I think their personalities are compatible enough to be friends if Oz had known Spike from the later seasons.
