if this was talking angel too cordy would win by a mile, but on buffy it's definitely tara.

although i loved Cordy even taking Angel into account Tara is my second favourite Buffyverse character I loved her and what she brought to the show and Amber Benson was just wow theres not enough words to describe how perfect she was for that role

I don't think there should be boundary between those characters who crossed over to Angel. Angel, Wes, Cordy, Darla and Spike are all completely different on Angel, yet they are one person and I think you either like them better as a whole or not. I guess you could try to objectively look at only their behavior on Buffy or Angel. But it's like splitting someone in two. Still, always Cordy.

Even though most people i talk to loved cordelia, I just never took to her character. I was glad when she left the show. Anya makes a far better blunt slightly rude character than cordelia ever did.

I never really cared for either of them, but at least Cordy was a stronger character. I base this on the early Cordy character. If this was a choice between Tara and the Cordy on Angel, Tara would be the vote hands down.
