you can DEFINITELY see a difference on how she sees herself and the world between seasons 1 & 7.

I don't think she was spoiled, I think she was just a kid trying to be a kid, and she had the right to want that normalcy. By season seven, she had accepted herself and her life as the slayer, and fully took on that roll.

And actually, I liked her better in the earlier seasons. She just seemed happier back then.

Yeah i totally agree. She had just move to Sunnydale aswell and at her old school thats how everyone acted. Plus the whole slayer thing she really didn't want it but as time went on she began to accept it, like Cinders said.

Me too. i might prefer the early seasons anyway, better storylines

I wouldn't say she was spoiled, just young, trying to come to grips with her destiny as a slayer. Anyone would chafe at the burdens placed on her at so young an age. She matured as everyone does (or should ;D)and like Cinders and nataliejade said, she eventually accepted her role as a slayer and made peace with not being able to be normal. I think if she'd been more mature and accepting of her slayer status in the earlier seasons it would have been lame. I mean NO ONE's that well adjusted. =D

She became more mature, of course, but I don't think she was spoiled in the earlier seasons...
