To me, they are the ultimate definition of creepy.

I agree that the Gentlemen define creepy but as far as scary I lean towards the Kinderstood. It's a combo of the not being able to see him, the appearance and that one shot from the side. While I believe the Gentlemen have the scariest sort of packaging and Angelus is the scariest in the sense that he might kill me, the Kinderstood always stood out.

i got serious nightmares from these guys, also kinestod and actually that one thing from outer space in listening to fear, that one was pretty creepy too.

Other creeps for me where Caleb (because of his ideas and nasty believes) and that bastard from the episode "same place same time" that tries to eat Willow...

my first memory of buffy is the gentlemen, the first episode i watched! i was like 9 and totally freaked out!!

This and the Gentlemen. But Kinestod I watched when I was younger, so it scared me more.

Very very creepy.

I find the Gentlemen really creepy. I think its the not being able to speak or scream when they are around and the old Victorian asylum look of them! It all adds up to equal a serious creep factor!!!
Kinestod though also very scary! Again the sensory deprivation thing (not being able to see it) is the main thing I recon! But I always found it creepy because it looks a bit like Freddie Cruger!

But really I wouldn't wanna bump into any of hem in a dark ally at night, or any time of day actually!! LOL
