Just the shock of it. Buffy was more me crying because of Spike's crying.

i picked spike's purely because i loved how selfless it was . buffy's 2nd death was also a big sacrafice for her and the world & joyce's was so realistic it was sooo sad .

this and jenny have me bawling for ages, god season 2 is damn good but damn depressing isn't it! lol!

I cried and cried when Cordelia died on Angel! Also, when Buffy died the second time...the voiceover to Dawnie just completely did me in. And of course, I was in hysterics when Spike died. Shoot, this show made me cry a lot!

It's because of the whole speech she gives to Dawn and the music in the background. That episode always brings me to tears.

Buffy's second death and Angel's death always make me cry, no matter how many times I see it.

Well I didn't actually cry, I mean, it's not like they're real. But I picked Jenny, because I knew the others (at least the ones I cared about) were coming back. Joyce's death was sad too.

It was beautifully done, can't really expand on that. I did cry for Angel, and during pretty much all of Chosen. I do believe that I cried more in Angel though.

I was bawling when Spike died. When Angel was sent to hell I bawled also.. but I think it's more because Buffy had to go through hell herself like that. Plus he didn't really die so it didn't effect me as much... but to see Spike burn to dust like that... becoming the champion -- hero he always was, was just too much for me.

Spike too but when Buffy...This was the WORST moment for me.

Man. What a tough pick lol..aroettger...I have many sad moments on this like Spike's death, Buffy never seeing him again...Buffy lost her mother I felt for her of a lost of her mother..When Buffy sacificed her own life to save the world and Dawn's life.

On the had there were a lot horrible death that will be remember like my favorite character Tara R.I.P ...She helped the gang so much and the hottest relationship with Willow.. And helping Buffy to get over Spike in Season 6. OMG..I almost forgot to worst villan who was skinless with Willow's darkest magics.

Buffy killed her first lover in Season 2, and she would never forgive herself from killing Angel. But she had no choice to kill him to stop openig the portal of Hell. And Also Buffy was in hell even though she thought it was Heaven. Man love that Spuffy moment in Afterlife and all other epsiodes with Spike having understanding relationship with Buffy about where she was in her death.

Overall, so many hard deaths that will remember on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

anya and tara made me cry too, with spike i was crying for almost a hour. why would you cry at buffy's death #2? she obviously wasn't gonna stay dead! sure it was sad but cry-worthy? no way

this or joyce both were so devestating Willow holding Tara and Buffy finding Joyce on the couch are both so sad and well acted

I was tearing up pretty much the whole way through this episode, and I hardly ever cry at sad movies/tv shows. The others were all sad, but this one... The way they did it was brilliant!

This one was sad because of the music and everyone else's reactions to her death.
I think Joyce's would be second for me.

The majority of them were just shock, like Joyce, Anya and Tara. I really didn't see it coming. The second death of Buffy's I thought was just sweet and touching... also I knew she was coming back because I watched Buffy after it aired and with two more seasons left, it was clearly obvious. Spike I also knew would come back in Angel and again his death was touching. Jonathan's death however was upsetting to me, probably because I love him so much, and for Andrew to be the one who killed him made it even more sad for me.

it was just he finally got his soul back no ever believed in him except for buffy by the end and sacrificing himself for buffy and the fact we could never see spike and buffy together again with his soul on t.v. that is. him becoming the hero we all knew he was it was so bittersweet his a character who was the ultimate outsider and underdog so rooting for spike was huge. and the fact that buffy as usual came to her senses and told spike she loved him at the last minute with fire amazing.

Out of anybody else, I cried SOO HARD like one of my family member done died.
