I wrote this a while back and just found it now. It's about the best or most interesting stories or moments that we know happened but were never shown.
1: The first 4 seasons as remembered by the characters.
Ok, this one sounds stupid, of course we've seen the first seasons. But thanks to the monks who added Dawn, the scoobies memories are quite different than what actually happened. Yet we never found out just how different and what we know that they dont. eg, when Angelus was after Buffy he went after her friends and family. A little sister would be a perfect target in his mind. In their memories did he ever attack her or try to? What about the many times the Summers house was attacked or someone Buffy loved was kidnapped, how did she fit in? The presence of a little sister must have made a big change to the chain of events. especially one like Dawn. From the moment we meet her she is around Buffy a lot and quite inquisitive about her life, so they must always remember her acting like that or they would be asking why are you suddenly behaving this way? That would make big changes.
2: Buffy being called (As Joss intended it, not as in the movie)
Joss' idea for the movie and what it actually ended up like are quite different. All we've had are clips of pre-sunnydale Buffy in the show. Getting to see the actual story he wanted to tell would be cool, and seeing how Buffy's character changed from spoiled shallow valley girl to the slayer would be a great insght into her character.
3: The 'Fanged four' at their best
The time with these that I'm most interested in is when they all liked eachother and were a dysfunctional family unit. Even in clips we've never really seen that. We've had Angel freshly souled trying to stay with them, and Angelus and spike at eachother's throats, but we know there was a time they liked eachother. Just look at how happy Spike was when Angel first went bad in s2, or that qoute in the finale when Angelus says to spike something along the lines of "nice to have you watching my back again, it's like old times" (Can't remember the actual quote, but it's along those lines) I would love to see this group at their strongest.
4: Giles as Ripper
Giles as a crazy demon summoning rebel...'nuff said.
I'd love to hear what missing stories you guys would have liked to see. Or comments telling me why the ones I put sucked :)
