I kinda like anything about Buffy's carachter. IMHO what the serie does best is creating a set of characters you can totally relate to, with their strongness and their weakness. Buffy's character is no exception, and her growth as a person from season 1 to 7 is just stunning in meaning and depth. Sure she can be viewed as a role model but, quite frankly, considering Buffy apart of the other characters and the path they ride together detracts a little bit from the show as a whole.
Thanx fo reading.

I love Buffy because she started out as this normal, highschool-going girl with no other worries except which boy would take her to the dance. And then boom she's hit with the duties of being a Slayer, which I think she transitioned into extremely well. I absolutely love her character! She's strong, witty, both dependent and independent, depending on the circumstances. I think she wants to stay Buffy and not just turn into full force Slayer mode without feelings and love and a life and friends/family. Even though Buffy is a fictional character, she is everything I wish I could be: strong, witty, charismatic, loyal to the extreme. I absolutely love Buffy<33

Pretty much everything about her. She's amazingly strong (both mentally and psychically), she's witty, very intelligent (the plans she comes up with are just plain brilliant), she's extremely loyal, and not to mention selfless, she'd put herself in harms way and even sacrifice herself to save the ones she loves.
She one of the best role models I've ever seen, she teaches to do what's right and to stand up and fight for what you believe in. Not to mention how society always needs strong, positive, female role models. Seeing a female hero (superhero if you will) is rather rare, so it's nice to see a change.
