Buffy the Vampire Slayer Question

How many series are there and how many episodes are within those series?

I am totally new to Buffy and am watching the series on Syfy from the first episode but i was wondering how many there actually are? Thanks muchly if you can help xxx

Buffy lasted for 7 seasons, with a total of 144 episodes aired.

Angel lasted for 5 seasons, with a total of 110 episodes aired.

There is also a continuation of the Buffy storyline in comic format, which is published by Dark Horse and is still running (though it is close to finished.)

Actually, season one has only 12. but 22 in 2-7
