I think that the franchise writers really did a great job in terms of creating a relationship between Brian and Mia because their relationship HAS had its ups and downs but, at the end of the day you knew they would end up together. Its nice to see that even in this "modern" Hollywood there are still characters that I guess you can call "old fashion" in the sence of romance and love. In "The Fast and The Furious" it was hard to watch when they broke up, then have them not see each other in 5 years and have them reunite again in "Fast and Furious".
