Disappearance

Momma sits in the car waiting for the light to turn green. I am sitting in the passenger’s seat, listening to the iPod daddy gave me last Christmas. The light turns green and momma nudges the gas pedal with her foot. The car jolts forward and soon we are at Grandpa’s house. Momma gets out and I just stay seated in the car. She comes around to my side and opens the door, while I am unbuckling. Momma picks me up and then slams the door. I press my hand to her neck and think, “Do you want to be here?” She nods her head yes and then she sets me down. I take her hand and together we walk up to the front steps to Grandpa’s house.
Before we even have a chance to knock, the door opens quickly and Grandpa peaks his head through the door.    I peak a look at momma, and as soon as I see her face I know we are thinking the same thing. We both know that Grandpa had been looking through his window, just waiting to see our black Ferrari pull up into the driveway. “Hey Nessie!” Grandpa cheers. I look at him and then his hands come down to grasp my waist and heave me up. He groans and then says, “Wow Ness, you sure have gotten big!” I look up at him and smile, showing all my little white teeth and he takes a sharp breath in. Momma looks at me as he sets me down on the floor and then I run inside his warm comforting house.
“So... when is Edward coming over?” Grandpa asked momma uncomfortably.
“Tonight.” Momma answered him calmly.
I looked around the room and then Grandpa suggested that we all go upstairs. I was more than happy to go. In all the times that I have been over to Grandpa’s I had never been upstairs. Momma held my hand and then we walked up the flight of stairs. Momma and Grandpa led me on a tour of the whole upstairs floor. There were only three small rooms on the upstairs floor. It was a pretty simple floor there was Grandpa’s room, which was not very exciting. The room was small and plain and the paint was sand yellow. The bathroom was pretty much the same. After they showed me were the bathroom was, they showed me were momma’s room was. I didn’t talk at all I just stared as we entered the slightly big room. “Well, that’s pretty much it.” Grandpa stated as he started to turn toward the door. I nodded.
A couple hours later we decided to get my luggage. We were just going up the stairs with my backpack full of my clothes. I was going to spend three days with Grandpa and momma and daddy were going to stay here with me.
When the doorbell rang momma turned, looked over both shoulders to make sure that grandpa wasn’t watching, and then she gracefully raced at full speed to the door. I ran over to her, hoping that it was daddy- because he was an hour late- and I was disappointed that it was not. Instead, standing in grandpa’s doorway, was a smallish lady with midnight black hair, and russet colored skin. I had no idea who this person was, but momma did. Momma took a step forward and said, “Hi Sue,” while she reached out and grasped the lady named Sue and hugged her. And I, being the shy little girl that I am, hid behind the nearest wall. I peeked out very slowly, so that maybe, if I moved slow enough the lady, Sue, wouldn’t see me. It worked, nobody saw me and then I ran as fast as I could back up the stairs to my new room.
Just as I shut the door, I heard someone calling my name. Great. I tried to move as slowly as I could, and then opened the door even slower. I walked slowly out of the room, taking the time to shut the door. I sighed; I couldn’t put this off any longer. I walked down the stairs and then I was there, were momma and Sue stood talking. I just stood behind momma’s legs, waiting to be introduced.
Momma and Sue quickly –too quickly for me- finished their conversation and I was introduced. “Sue, I would like to introduce you to my daughter, Renesmee.” Momma took a step to the side, so that Sue could see me. I stared into Sue’s big green innocent eyes, trying to memorize her face, so that if I saw her again, I would say hi.
“Hello Renesmee,” Sue said in a soft, quiet voice. “I am Sue.”
I didn’t want to scare the woman by talking to her through my special power, so talked to her the way that everyone did, just to sound normal to her. “Hello Sue.” I said in a loud voice. I heard her take in a sharp breath, a normal reaction. Just then, grandpa walked around the corner, coming to see who was at the door.
“Oh, hi Sue, what a pleasant surprise!” Grandpa, walked over, walking in front of me to shake hands with Sue. I turned around and jumped into momma’s arms. Why is she here, momma? I thought, pressing my hand to her cheek, trying to make it look natural. Momma glanced down at me, and then looked away, without answering my question.
“So, what brought you here?” Grandpa asked Sue curiously.
“Well, ever since Bella moved out I know you have been ordering pizza, or just not eating, so I thought that I would bring you over some dinner.” Sue answered him thoughtfully.
Everyone stood there thoughtfully thinking, and then momma offered that we all had dinner. We walked to the kitchen and then we sat down, while grandpa served up the food. Momma politely denied dinner, and I wanted to but then I smelled the wonderful aroma of potatoes, so I ended up accepting and having two servings. I ended up liking Sue, and her cooking.
During dinner I was quiet and didn’t contribute much to the conversation, mostly I was thinking about how Sue talked to grandpa and how they really seemed to like each other, more than friends. I wonder if Sue has a husband.
Later that night, when momma was putting me to bed, I was worried, and momma knew it. She sat down and the edge of my bed and smoothed my hair down. “What’s wrong, sweetheart?” momma asked me, truly worried. I didn’t bother to think it. I just blurted out what was troubling me. “Well, you said that daddy would be here tonight, but he isn’t here yet.”
“I don’t know where he is sweetie,” she said with a hint of worry in her voice. “But, I can call Esme, if you want.” I nodded my head slowly and then closed my eyes.
I opened my closed eyes just a crack, then I wished I hadn’t. Momma’s face was twisted with pain. Was she crying? I didn’t want to know.
A minute later I heard momma pushing the numbers on her phone. I opened my eyes to see her face completely calm and her phone was out, up near her ear and she was speaking so fast, so that I couldn’t understand a word she was saying. A few seconds later, the phone snapped shut. I looked up and saw her worried face. I knew something was wrong. “Momma?” I asked her quietly, “What did Esme say?” Momma glanced down at me while she spoke. “Esme said that daddy left three hours ago and that she would send Emmett and Jasper to look for him.” I was worried, and I knew that she was to. She loved daddy and so did I, if he had left three hours ago, then where was he?
I thought about this question the whole night. I didn’t sleep the whole night and I spent most of the night thinking about what had happened. Finally in the morning I caught three hours of sleep, and dreamed about daddy.
When I went down for breakfast in the morning, I spotted momma sitting at the table in grandpa’s kitchen and she was murmuring into the phone. “Yeah…. Okay, I know how it is….. Yeah thanks Jasper.” Then she hung up the phone. Momma sighed, and the put the phone on the table and hung her head in her hands.
Suddenly momma glanced up to me and then held out her arms, waiting for me. Gratefully, I ran from where I had been standing and then I leaped gracefully into momma’s waiting arms. I sat there, on her lap, for ten minutes in silent thinking about daddy. “Momma?” I whispered. “Why were you talking to Jasper?” I wondered aloud.
“I called him early this morning, to see if they could find any trace of daddy.”
“Did he?” I asked as quietly as I could, so that I wouldn’t wake up grandpa. Momma shook her head a depressing no. I sighed.
We sat like that for another hour, waiting for grandpa to get up. Finally, we could
hear the faint noise of the shower staring, so we knew he was awake.
Five minutes later, grandpa walked quickly down the stairs, and came into the kitchen where we sat. “Morning girls.” Grandpa said lightly. I looked up from the page I had been coloring to see grandpa wearing a pair of faded light blue jeans and a plain white long-sleeved shirt. I noticed that his hair was wet and parted slightly to the side. “Do you want breakfast, Nessie?” I heard momma sigh quietly when grandpa said my nickname.
“That’s ok,” momma said getting up from her chair. “I can get it.”
Momma walked over to the yellow cabinets that were right above the stove and looked at the kind of cereals grandpa had. I guess there weren’t any good ones, because she walked over to the fridge and pulled out a container of eggs. She made me a plate of scrambled eggs, which I gobbled down hungrily. We all sat there awkwardly and then the doorbell rang. We all glance up quickly, and then momma yells, “Coming!” and rushes to the door. I try not to keep my hopes up and think that it is daddy but I can’t help it. I fast walk to the door where momma is and then she wrenches open the door. I sigh. It isn’t daddy, it is Alice. She looks at my face faces and she purses her lips at me. “Well, it’s nice to see you to, Renesmee.”
“I was hoping it was daddy,” I explained carefully. A look of pain flashes across her face for the tiniest second, before grandpa walks in. A wide smile stretches across his face as he sees tiny little Alice standing in his doorway. “Hi Alice!” he said cheerfully. “Come on in!”

“Thank you Charlie,” Alice said, sounding annoyed, and then she stepped into grandpa’s cozy living room, shutting the door behind her.

Grandpa didn’t offer Alice breakfast; he was used to our family denying food. Instead he said, “So, what brought you here?” grandpa asked her as she sat on his brown leather couch. Alice’s face suddenly went from bright and smiling, to sad and pouty. I knew she was just faking it, but grandpa seemed to believe it because then he put his hand on her shoulder and asked, “What’s wrong, Alice?”
“Well it’s just I am so sad about my brother disappearing, and my whole family is going to look for him but I am not and I am going to be alone in my house all week.” She said sighing deeply. Grandpa thought it over for one minute and then he invited Alice to spend the rest of the week with us. “Thank you so much Charlie, I have my bags in the car, I’ll go get them!” Alice gracefully danced away in such a fashion, that it would break any ballerina’s heart. Grandpa got up then, and went upstairs to his room, and didn’t come down until dinner.

Dinner was a very quiet event. Alice or mommy wasn’t there, she was up in the bathroom putting on makeup, and momma had said that she was going to get some more food from the store, but I knew she was really hunting. So, it was just me and grandpa, and that was very quiet and awkward.

Later when momma was putting me to bed, Alice walked in, very slowly and sat at the end of my bed. “I have some news for you.” She said in a very low voice. Momma and I looked at her, waiting for her to continue. “I think I know where Edward is.”

It's my second reading of “Breaking dawn”. I`ve somehow always wondered if the second time would feel different. Now I know! But it's different in a good way, because I now see things more clearly. What fascinated, stroke me this time was not only the huge amount and density of emotions. I saw things from a different prospective – Jacob's. I've always considered myself to be Team Edward, but I know all that team stuff seems a bit meaningless – because it was always Edward for Bella. But what struck me the most was Jacob's development – he literary grows up-in his thoughts, in his...

A mountain lion was perched upon one of the branches of the trees concentrating on his own hunting agenda as Bella leapt onto a branch of a tree next to it. She positioned herself higher up in the tree than the lion was. I was frantic. I knew Bella would be fine but it went against all my instincts to allow this. I couldn’t fathom that she was no longer fragile. She didn’t need my protection. I felt a twinge of pain at this thought.

The lion was eyeing a herd of deer and was completely oblivious to Bella’s approach. He was preparing himself to spring in attack when Bella launched herself...

We had all come here for a picnic today, in the meadow, because it was a sunny day. We were all here the whole pack and all of the Cullen’s. The meadow was deserted and it looked peaceful and serene with rainbow spots dancing around.
Nessie was heavily pregnant and our baby was due...

RENESMEE'S POV
My name is Renesmee Cullen. I am half human half vampire. My mom was human and my daddy was a vampire. Now my mom is a vampire too. Mom daddy and I have a cottage in the middle of the woods, but we spend most of our time in the big house. Even though I like our cottage I like the big house better. I have a very interesting life. I like telling people about it. Not now though, now I'm going to sleep.
BELLA'S POV
I begged to go hunting but since Jacob [unwillingly] went to do duties for the pack and Edward is out hunting I decided [Rose decided] it would be best if I stayed with...

I know Edward always said Bella was beautiful but she seems kind of boring. She always worries about other people, but she never thinks of herself. In the book [especially when she's human] she thinks all these stupid thoughts and I'm glad Edward didn't hear what she was thinking because I would be so embarrassed if I was her.
I love Alice. She is so cute and she has a great sense of style. I'm so glad she got Jasper. Even though her closet is a bit disproportional I wouldn't mind having it once in a while.(:
Rosalie is cool. I mean she was mean but after Nessie was born she got so much nicer. I can tell that she truly loves Nessie.
I've given you my opinion but what's your's?.
Please Comment
Breaking Dawn part 1 was so good, I loved it. The acting was great and Bella looked so beautiful at their wedding. It was action filled and also drama filled, I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen. I loved how they almost said everything they say in the book, and I love how they show everything that happened with Jacob and Leah. They also added and action part where Sam's pack attacks Emmet, Esme, Carlisle, Alice, and Jasper while they are leaving to hunt(not that i'm saying I wanted them to die). I also loved the birth of Renessme, it showed detail and everything that happened in the book. Renessme looked just as Stephenie Meyer described her. I like how the show the transformation of Bella becoming a vampire too. The one thing I didn't like was how they ended the movie, they showed Bella opening her eyes as a vampire, which automatically made me want more.

I honestly didn't hate it, but i was dissappointed. The whole thing read like fanfiction to me: cute, but not the conclusion i wanted to hear for my beloved Bella and Edward. The wedding/honeymoon business was very cute. i really loved it. The second Carlisle said Bella was pregnant my heart just sank. How could SM do that to me?

I turned the page to se Jacob's perspective, *groan*. I like Jacob, but i didn't want to spend the final installment of the twilight saga in the mind of "what could have been". Surprisingly enough, Jacob was quite funny and i enjoyed his part a lot. I thought it was...
