Brave What do you think about shipping Merida with boys from other fandoms?

Personally, I hate it and I think that if you ship Merida with someone you aren't a true Brave fan because you don't respect the whole story and I also think that if Merida is in love with someone the true thing of the story is lost, I think I'm not explaining it properly but I can't do it in another way.
The most popular ships are: Merida with Jack Frost and with Hiccup
So, what do you think?

Ugh I did at first but then I thought ''Really? Jack Frost? Yeeeaah I don't think so!'' she is my favorite princess because of these two things, number 1: Because she wasn't the singing type princess. She never once burst into song. And number 2: She never got married at the end of the movie, nor did she ever get feelings for any prince! Unless Angus counts lol

I hate it and I agree with you. The original story is lost when someone does that.

Personally, I love Merida especially because she never got married and did her own thing. I really don't like in these shipping things that she's always the bad guy. I like to respect original stories :)
