Brennan slowly came to, her head throbbing with a heavy, dull pain. She found herself duct-taped to a chair, her hands and feet also bound. Her father, similarly restrained, smiled gently at her when he saw she was awake.
"Glad to see your up," he said. "The bleeding from the wound on your forehead has finally stopped."
"Where am I?"
"Foreclosed warehouse on 35th street."
"Mmm." With a jolt, she remembered her partner. "Booth. Oh, God, Booth! No! I have to get out of here, I have to-"

Booth sat in his office, his feet propped up on the desk. He was fiddling with a Rubix Cube that Parker had given him last week. He still couldn't get that one blue row to match up. Sweets knocked on the door, and Booth waved him in.
"Yeah, what's up?"
"I noticed that Dr. Brennan is quite disturbed. She's slightly, well, snappish. Would you happen to know why?"
"Sweets, really? You seem to be abusing your position as an excuse to get into the gossip loop at the Jeffersonian."
"Well, as a psychologist, I have a right to know!"
Booth raised his palms in a gesture of defeat. "All right....

"C'mon, Bones, what's up?"
Brennan stared out the window as Booth expertly made his way through traffic. He turned left and parked a few feet away from the yellow tape. Police cars and ambulances dotted the scene, lights flashing and reporters milling around. She got out of the car and headed over to where Zach and Hodgens were already waiting, Booth following behind her.
"Hello, Dr. Brennan," Zach greeted. Brennan nodded in reply.
"So what's up?" asked Booth. Hodgens looked up and replied, "There's a body tied to a stake on the roof. The victim was burned alive, the entrails cut out, and-"...

The ambulance was fast getting there when they heard who it was for. Bones was famous, nobody wanted her dying, expect for the crimanls that she put in jail. Booth was to worried about her to stay at the crime scene, to make sure that everything was bagged and tagged.
He rode the ambulance back to the hospital with her, Booth was going to be there when she wakes up, he don't want her being alone. Ever again. The doctors had talked to Booth about her health, she was in good shape, and young, so she wouldn't have any damage. It would just take some time for her to wake up where she hit her head....
