I need some really good books to read. I like fantasy and adventure books. Any suggestions?

Read "The Chronicles of Narnia" books by C.S. Lewis, and/or the "Inkheart" books by Cornelia Funke. They are both fantasy and adventure series, and they're really good. :)
If you don't know the names of the books in the series's you can probably find out by Google.
(Just as a side note, the "Inkheart" hardcover books are so pretty! lol)

I suggest you read the following:
- The hunger games(also the sequel Catching Fire)
-Percy Jackson and the olimpians= The lightning thief, the sea of monsters, the titans curse, the battle of labyrinth, and the last olimpia
-The cirque du friek series
-Son of the mob (not really fantasy or adv. but its really really good, also read son of the mob 2)
-born to rock(also not fantasy or adv.)
-cut
-wounded
-what I saw and how I lied
-anything by gordon korman

I recommend The Mortal Instruments (Cassandra Clare), The Host (S.Meyer), The Hunger Games (Suzanne Collins) and Lord of the Rings (J.R.R. Tolkien). ;)

The Circle Trilogy (Black, Red, and White) by Ted Dekker. It's an epic fantasy/adventure series.

The books in the Time Quintet by Madeleine L'Engle are good. A Wrinkle in Time, A Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, and Many Waters, originally the Time Quartet, until she wrote An Acceptable Time, which I still need to read.

The Wicked Series (Witch, Curse, Legacy, Spellbound, and Resurrection) are good too. These are not the Wicked about the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz, it is about teenage witches.

The Mortal Instruments: It's a good book for people who love fantasy. It has werewolves, vampires, fairies, and the main characters also slay demons too. It also has a lot of romance.

Maximum Ride: This is a really good book about adventure. It revolves around a 14-year old girl with wings. She and her band of bird kids have to save the world.

The Supernaturalist: This is a single book but it's very worth the read. It involves a boy names Cosmo in a futuristic world. He and his new friends have to take on creatures who suck the life force from people. It's one of my favorites.

Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine and Mortal Instruments series by cassandra clare are amazing. In my opinion they beat Twilight. Another good book I just read was Intertwined by Gena Showalter. I love all of the books that have been listed, but before some of those ones, the first book of this genre that I read was Tithe by Holly Black. I've also found her other books that indirectly follow Tithe, Valiant and Ironside, to be really good as well.

-The Protector of the Small Quartet Series (4 books: all published) by Tamora Pierce (not what I thought I would like but I definitely enjoyed it)
-Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick (I have yet to read it, but the summary looks good)

I have one. How old are you. Young people may not understand this series but i read it when i was 16 and really enjoyed it. It called Shannarra.

U should read the Blue Bloods series is very cool. If u like vampires in the Upper east Side of NYC the you'll luv these fabulous books.

Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series is increcible...11 books in all. There's even a show based on the books now...Legend of the Seeker. But read the books! Great reads!

i absolutely ADORE the books Graceling and Fire by Kristin Cashore. Also, there is Maria V. Snyder with her Study series and Glass series. both of those are absolutely amazing and i recommend then to any fantasy fan. sorry, no vampirism in them, but amazing just the same. you want to read the study series before the Glass series as the characters from the first bleed into the latter. Depending on your age and where you live. Terry Pratchett's Disc World is good. Dr Who novels with either the 9th, 10th or 11th Doctor.

Have you tried Robin Hobb's Soldier Son trilogy? They can be a bit complicated and are quite long, but are really good.

Also, Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time.

If you haven't read the Shiver Trilogies, I highly recommend it. It is total fantasy but not much adventure. It's a fantasy romance pretty much. Loved the three books though. They made me smile, laugh, cry. Heart-warming stories. Really.
