I'll admit that i haven't read the book.. :/

That's fine. But eventually you should. There is a whole added level of hilarity that isn't in the movie that is in the book.

...and I did it in the correct order (seeing the film first, enjoying it, then graduating to the novel). This is another one that I read aloud; it's an unusually faithful adaptation to the spirit, if not all the letters, of the book.

I love both!

It's a faithful adaptation because William Goldman is a screenwriter. He also did Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

I read the book first and watched the film later. One of the rare cases, where I loved both of it.

The original's by S. Morganstern. But this is the one they based the film off of. I wanted to read the original, but this is the only one I could find. They were really faithful to the book too, Rob Reiner is REALLY good with that.

Watched it last month.

Really want to read the book, though.
