Blue's Clues is a Nickelodeon franchise that was created by Traci Paige Johnson, Todd Kessler and Angela C. Santomero. The franchise focuses on a female dog named Blue that leaves clues for her human friends to find. Blue is joined by several talking objects, including Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper, Mailbox, Sidetable Drawer, Shovel, Pail, Tickety Tock and Slippery Soap. Donovan Patton played Joe, the second star of the original Blue's Clues series. Joe was introduced towards the end of the fourth season before becoming the host of the series.
