Samsung launches the US's first Blu-ray player 

From most reviews, it's a decent player at an outrageous price. I suppose you could buy a high-end home theater PC and download a ton of content for their asking price. But then you wouldn't be able to play all those new Blu-ray discs... all three of them =)
