Sounds cool. Could you explain a little more?

Soul Merchants are fictional characters in the bleach world. Created by Dancing Petal and myself. Soul Merchant absorb souls to keep their bodies young and vital. They can turn ordinary humans into soul merchants by stabbing them through and changing their spiritual particals. These characters can be rather odd due to the fact that their Seirei Fi-da is a reflection of their personality and spirit.

Soul Merchants (like Quincy) have existed for many years, but their powers grew ten fold once they drank Hiyama blood (a royal family). They were able to then manifest their spirits. Please feel free to come up with any back story you please. We will post some examples below.

Name: Saki Sogo
Height: 5’7’’ in half
Weight: 130
Race: Soul merchant
Birthday: March 13th
Age: 984
Apperance: Saki has wavy, glossy brown hair that she ties into a thick braid and hazel eyes. Her skin is tan and her profile is very lovely. Saki has a curvy figure (which Kouhei often comments on) and is drawn to tight clothing. She is often seen sporting the color white, which is her favorite. She often wears brown boots to her knees and a white leotard with a dark brown belt at the middle. Her Seirei Fi-da is two, loose, white gloves that go to her elbows, with two tight brown strings holding each, and each has a large pointed triangle shaped blade on the end.
Personality: An intellectual and serious woman who often prefers to have male friends rather than female friends (because males are less likely to gossip and be clingy), Saki is known for her speed and risky battle tactics.
Occupation: 7th Commander of the Soul Merchants
Favorite food: Chicken Alfredo Florentine, Black Coffee, Chocolate Mint Patties, and Hard Liquors
Likes: Fighting, Chess (she plays with Liam; although, she refuses to play as Black), Black coffee, Hard liquor, mint, watching Sesame Street with Hina, buying Oscar the Grouch apparel (because she secretly thinks he is cute and wants to push Kouhei over the edge), going for long walk with Yuudai, going on ops missions for Zero, killing arrancar and hollows, long soaks in the bath with exotic sea salts, which she collects and Kouhei often by and begs to use with her, collecting smelling salts, candles (especially the large multicolored type), poetry, reading novels, and watching the news.
Dislikes: Kouhei’s laziness (sometimes so much that she will physical brush his teeth and fix his hair), gossip, nosiness, losing, the soul society, small talk (because she never knows what to say), make-up, and Misami’s makeovers.

Seirei Fi-da: Howaido Ama Baikin (White linen bacteria)
Release phrase: Infect
Kontan Fe-zu Ichi (spirit phase one): When Saki hits you with the tips of her blade, bacteria are injected beneath the skin into the soul where they begin to feed on the opponent’s spirit particles, which is extremely painful. This eventually results in death or the foe fading from existence. For most opponents, the process takes 1 hour. The only way to end the vicious cycle of microbial snacking is to defeat Saki or the opponent may be able dilute the bacteria by using his or her own reiatsu.

Name: Takumi Kobayashi; Zero

Weight: 169 pounds
Race: Self-made shinigami and soul merchant
Birthday: October 15th
Age: 1997
Apperance: Takumi has raven black hair that is shoulder length and cropped out in jagged angles, his most odd feature is his blood red eyes. His body is very limber and toned. His face is long and he has thin eyebrows. He has pale skin and broad shoulders.
Personality: Takumi is very prideful and very conceited, but unlike most he despises arguing because he feels it will increase his blood pressure, something he always concerned about. He is always determined to get whatever he desires regardless who he hurts in the long run.

Favorite food: Mackerel, Red and Yellow Bell Peppers, and Dried Cherries
Likes: Takumi has a number of very odd interests such as blood pressure (he likes it so much he often smells crayons because they are said to lower blood pressure and tries at length to avoid confrontations and arguing so he doesn’t raise it), watching cartoons (he is known to rise at the crack of dawn with Hina to get his weekly dose on Saturdays), coloring books (saves the expensive crayons for himself because Hina breaks them so often), drawing (though albeit horribly, he claims they are just fine. In fact, he claims he is the next Picasso, a trait he shares with Rukia Kuchiki), murder mystery novels, role playing board games revealing who the murderer among those participating is, physical and mental training, long walks with Ryoji and Ayumi in the park, umbrellas with interesting patterns, Ai Hiyama, and Mai Hiyama, his former lover.
Dislikes: Arguing or arguments (due to his fear of high blood pressure and loosing his composure), people implying that he can’t get what he wants or desires, any mentions of his past, nosy people, anyone going through his personal belongings, losing, idiots, loud noises, Ichigo Kurosaki, Masaru Hiyama, and the soul society.
Love interest: Mai Hiyama and Ai Hiyama—only because she reminds him of Mai Hiyama
Favorite song/theme music: Fade to Black by Metallica
History: Zero was born in district 66. Orphaned, he migrated to the 1 district in the Rukon, where he often caught glimpses of Mai Hiyama. Knowing that no mere spirit would even be allowed to step in front of her, he began his quest morph himself into a soul reaper. Zero traveled to the world of the living and allowed himself to begin morphing into a hollow. There, he cut his soul chain and painfully became a soul reaper. He then returned to the Soul Society. One rainy afternoon, Mai’s body guards were attacked and killed by an unknown group. Mai’s leg was broken. Zero killed the guards and began the journey to take her home. After that day, the two began a passionate relationship. Mai allowed Zero to drink her blood, and he manifested a Seirei Fi-da. However, Mai being royalty would not be allowed to wed Takumi, so she married Masaru Hiyama without giving Zero any explanation. He thus began to hate the customs of royal families. Unseated, he witnessed the cruelty of soul reapers to those of the Rukon district. Disgusted, he fled to the world of the living and joined those who had attacked Mai that faithful day…the soul merchants.
Zanpakuto: (Reiatsu Robber)
Release phrase: Steal
Spirit manifestation: A man clad in black a white mask and white gloves.
Inner world: No solid appearance, just swirls of reiatsu
Apperance: A long blade with a dark blue square tsuba and a black and turquoise hilt. The sheath is a dark blue.
Shikai: With each strike of his blade, Zero sheds the opponent’s reiatsu, causing the foe to temporarily lose the ability to regenerate reiatsu. Wherever he hits is stripped of reiatsu. Opponents vary in the amount of time it takes to regain their powers.
Bankai: A single strike from Zero’s blade steals 100% of the opponent’s reiatsu (however, it must be within 2 inches of the heart). The foes’ powers are diminished (if they survive the attack). Some never regain their spiritual energy while for others the times vary from months to years.
Seirei Fi-da: Kichigai Nendo Sen (Insane Clay Wires)
Release phrase: Come to life
First phase: Zero quickly moves his fingers releasing wires that create pseudo-Skeletons. He covers the pseudo-Skelton in clay like material formed from spiritual currents. He also draws small pieces of the person’s soul into the doll giving them memories from when they were alive as well as the same combat skills. The person doesn’t have to be dead in order for him to create a pseudo-clone.

Hello this is Dancing Petal..keep in mind a Soul merchant's Seirei Fi-da doesn't have to be in the japense language...they usually the name of their weapon is in their mother tounge. Name: Akane Nakashima
Height: 6’0’’
Weight: 155 pounds
Race: soul merchant
Birthday: December 18th
Age: 800
Apperance: Akane is rather tall and voluptuous with jade hair that is long and straight with jagged ends to her lower back and brown eyes. She has large breast, hips, and thighs, which the others comment on quite frequently at her expense where she will get embarrassed and scream or hide her face in her hands, a common expression she has. She is rather beautiful and prefers to wear gentle earth tones.
Personality: Akane is very serious and mature. She isn’t quick to anger and stays in control of her emotions quite well unless one she cares for is injured or her mutations when using her Seirei fi-da begin going out of control. Akane is often scared of her power, despite its strength because she’s afraid that one day its altering abilities will transform her into a monster. She is very protective over Hina. She is determined to find any rusty metal, so she can fashion them into projects such as: planters, sculptures, and the wiring in macramé hangers. Some find this very odd and criticize her strange taste for it, claiming she should go get a tetanus shot. Akane is rather sensible and listens to what her superiors say but won’t hesitate to contradict them if she feels their actions are wrong.

Likes: reading novels and Shojo manga (she often let’s Ryoji borrow them, though he often spoils the endings for her, music, weaving baskets, bamboo furniture, collecting rusty metal and copper (the latter she often steals from peoples houses) so she can use them for her crafts, collecting rocks from other areas and putting them in her yard to remember where she found it or what her day was like when she did, singing, street festivals and buying things from the venders at them (she is very fond of personality rocks though her friends find them ugly, and she hopes to find one fitting each of their characteristics one day), going to the lake, spending time with those she loves, magnolia blossoms, and sandalwood.
Dislikes: stupidity, selfishness, self conceit, being used, the idea that she may eventually be consumed by her Seirei Fi-da, catfish, people making fun of her thighs, strange interests, or her ridiculously slow driving, chauvinistic ideas, cheating, men having mistresses, getting thrown in jail for stealing copper wires from peoples’ houses for her crafts, and quilt like patterns, especially on purses.

Seirei Fi-da: Henshu Kemono (mutation beast)
Release phrase: strike
Apperance: a long katana with a veneered wooden hilt and a bronze square shaped tsuba that rounds around the edges like a pagoda with turquoise stones studded on it.
Kontan Fe-zu Ichi (spirit phase one): She wields a blade made of condensed energy called Rinbo Koseisho Subeta (limbo sword). This sword doesn’t cause physical damage but disrupts thought processes which cause intense headaches and pain through mind bolts. The blade is a white color that looks like a hilt, blade, and an orb of light that connects the two. Her primary ability is adapting to certain situations to protect herself and others through mutations. The more she uses her power the more changes there are. She has hoofs, horns, tails, wings, a mermaid fin, claws, and strong, reinforced skin. Through these mutations she gains increases in strength, endurance, and reiatsu. The more she uses her Rinbo Koseisho Subeta the more she increases the alterations of Henshu Kemono (mutation beast), though they mutate on their own just over a longer amount of time.
Kontan Fe-zu Ni (spirit phase two): Soudai Henshu Kemono (Grand mutation beast): Her sword transforms and now is semi transparent and double edged. Her appearance is more animalistic; she has large wings and horns, almost resembling a demon. She can gather particles in this form and cause matter to go back on itself causing the instability of molecules; this in turn creates small areas of antimatter that shatter everything apart. She grows even more sinister attributes when she uses this power; she despises using her second phase because of this.

Name: Liam Bergenfeld
Height: 6’1’’
Weight: 178 pounds
Race: soul merchant
Birthday: September 12th, 1910
Age: 100
Appearance: Liam is light tan with high cheek bones and a long nose, he has a handsome face, deep blue green eyes and dirty blonde hair that is long and feathered to the back of his neck that crops around his face and curls out at the edges in the back. He wears glasses and usually slacks and dress shirts.
Personality: Liam has a rather odd personality; he seems to be rather calm and collected but has a severe weakness for cute things especially babies and small children. He is very intelligent and enjoys teaching even in battle if his opponent makes blatant mistakes in their assumptions or form. He is very health conscious and loves soy products and is often seen at health food stores though he always gives in for Hina’s craving for candy, which isn’t very often since she adores vegetables. He specializes in history and Geography and is very interested in trying new things and learning.
Previous occupation: German officer (he was drafted temporarily but was injured in the first month or so and was sent back home to recuperate), doctor/pediatrician
Occupation: 2nd commander of the soul merchants, preschool teacher
Favorite food: organic foods like raw vegetables and products from health food stores, he is known to love soymilk, soybeans, and salad (he prefers his with tomatoes, sunflower seeds, soy beans, nuts, and tofu while Hina loves hers with carrots, cheese, grilled chicken, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, cucumbers, squash, and orange slices)
Likes: cute things like little animals and small children (he loves babies so much he volunteers at local hospitals and looks through nursery window which people often get concerned about; he also loves animals so much that he once adopted over 20 dogs that were going to put down), shopping at health food stores, studying, music, the shine of pregnant women, teaching Lamaze classes, chess (goes to tournaments often), watching cartoons and documentaries, spending time with Hina, helping sick people, and cute band aids.
Dislikes: fattening foods like bacon (because it has no nutrients and is just fat) and white bread (because it is just bleached wheat that has been stripped of all its nutrients and causes constipation), annoying and loud people, insensitivity, books or movies with no plot of storyline, dentist (has a phobia of them), licorice, and getting strange looks when he gushes over a cute, wrinkly babies.

History: When he was young he lived under strict guidelines and was forced to attend an austere all boys Catholic school where he was harassed, despite this he had very high marks and an even larger interest in cute things like babies. During his teen years, Nazi Germany was rising to power and he was drafted into the military but didn’t serve long before he was seriously injured. His wealthy family held him up in the house but he was becoming very ill and verging on the point of death. During this time he was downstairs when he saw a young Jewish girl named Anya, hungry and crouching behind some boxes so no one would accost her. He called her over and let her stay in the attic above his bed, he kept some things for her in an in clove in his room and the two grew very close as they talked how they both found the war to be wrong and unnecessary. He realized his wounds began to slowly be mending since she had arrived, and mentioned it, she responded by telling him about her family and her powers as a soul merchant which she had managed to use in order to heal him. She eventually imbued him with the power and after she was revealed, his father killed her while they were alone with his door cracked, in anger he absorbed his father’s soul but let Anya’s soul pass on. His family witnessing this was shocked and he managed to escape, traveling to America under a different name in working as he enhanced his abilities. He furthered his education and chose a field most suiting his passion, children. He remained a pediatrician for years before he came across Zero who told him he could show him how to utilize his powers. He has been a commander ever since.
Seirei Fi-da: Geschwindigkeit Kugel (speed bullet)
Release phrase: zip
Appearance: when sealed it takes the form of a long katana with a red hilt and a dull, slate colored tsuba in an oval shape.
Kontan Fe-zu Ichi (spirit phase one): when released it resembles a wooden sword or boken with a blunt edge and a dingy brown shade.
Special abilities: He can travel at speeds of 1500 mph, and often incorporates this with sword strokes and dodging blows, so even though his sword has no sharp edge he can easily impale a foe with his wooden blade. His speed decreases when his reiatsu burns out. While he has great speed he doesn’t have very good endurance.
Kontan Fe-zu Ni (spirit phase two): Schnell Töten Geschwindigkeit Kugel (swift kill speed bullet): He is able to control involuntary movement and cause anything he touches or manipulates with reiatsu to travel at speeds of 1500 to 2000 mph. So for example if he buts a tree and leaves fall down he can control their movement casing them to cut like blades. His weapon takes the form of a long bamboo shaft that has red bands on it. He can throw it at high speeds and beckon it back.

Name: Sunmi Kyŏng
Height: 5’0’’ in a half
Weight: 98 pounds
Race: soul merchant
Birthday: February 9th
Age: 100 (estimated)
Apperance: Sunmi has a light, delicate frame and appearance; her eyes are shining gold and her features are soft and fragile. Her hair is pale, mint green and comes down straight and jagged to her upper back. She loves to wear pastels.
Personality: Sunmi is very sweet and odd, often replacing words in sentences with various flowers that symbolize that emotion Such as: I wish I had more Black Poplar (courage) or I have Hawthorn (hope). She loves symbolism and spends much of her time researching it. Sunmi loves to occupy her time with strange hobbies such as painting dried flowers and dorango (making shiny balls out of mud, she enjoys wrapping them in tin foil and sprinkling glitter on them to make them even more shiny). Sunmi is very protective over the ones she loves. Ryoji has created a manual for all the other soul merchants, so they can keep a simple conversation going with her.

Seirei Fi-da: Kkutopnun Kyongryon (endless spasm):
Release phrase: twinge
Apperance: when sealed her Seirei fi-da resembles a katana with a pastel green hilt and black fillings. The tsuba is silver and square shaped.
Kontan Fe-zu Ichi (spirit phase one): her first phase does not have a solid form; rather she releases black waves (similar to Byukurai) at her foe. The limb or area that was struck will begin to ebonize and will begin to spasm for a short period of time; it will fade back normally when this wares off.
Kontan Fe-zu Ni (spirit phase two): Cholrinun Sunhwan (sleepy circulation); her second phase takes the form of long needles that emerge from her skin. These needles can be shot at foes causing the circulation in that area of their body to be cut off, restricting blood flow. If this continues for too long the victim will form a blot clot and eventually die.

Name: Prinzu Matsuo
Height: 6’3’’
Weight: 173 pounds
Race: soul merchant
Birthday: November 11th
Age: 125
Apperance: Prinzu has red shaggy hair with a crown tattoo on his left cheek, honoring his Seirei fi-da. He also has two piercings in each ear. He has fiery red eyes and a limber build. He has a silver rings on the middle finger of his left hand and a solid black one on his right. He is a fan of necklaces and bracelets with beads. He likes to wear sheer black gloves, bandanas, pins, and shirts with odd logos and prints. He also loves jackets.
Personality: Prinzu is very laid back and hip. He admires Zero’s abilities, and he also is devoted to taking down the soul society. He loves Takumi’s demeanor and often tries to emulate it. He doesn’t like confrontations, much like zero, but avoids getting into spats or talking to those he knows will enrage him by wearing headphones.
Occupation: -5 Soul Merchant Commanders, Tattoo Artist
Favorite food: Hush puppies (though he wonders why they are called hush puppies since they aren’t puppies) and fried shrimp.
Likes: music (to the point wear many get fed up with him because he is always wearing headphones; sometimes he wears these just so he can avoid talking to people), shirts with odd logos and making his own bracelets and jewelry out of beads, urban exploring, a strange hobby were people document the history and explore abandoned buildings (Prinzu prefers breaking into ruined hospitals, brave university steam tunnels, and old, abandoned sea forts), train with zero because he pushes him to his limits, tattoo art, playing banjo, doing Jane and Hina’s hair, fancy studded belts (he often wears multiple ones), jewelry, making plush picture frames and tamari (or caches of beaded animals which he often sells), skittles (he is always seen eating them), the smell of new shoe curtains and shoes, and spending time with friends.
Dislikes: Nahti (finds him annoying), getting into arguments, getting locked in or arrested for being in abandoned areas he tress passes in (luckily Hiroto is his lawyer), coffee jelly, uptight people, missing the bus because he doesn’t like driving, not being able to play and spend time with his friends, Hina being sad, and Ushiojiru (clear soup of clams)

Seirei Fi-da: Corona Sceptrum (Crown Scepter)
Release phrase: bow before me
Apperance: a Kodachi with a golden hilt studded with precious stones and a guard that looks like a crown or sun with rubies embedded on it. The scabbard is gold and appears to have an etching of painting on it.
Kontan Fe-zu Ichi (spirit phase one): It alters into a long yari or spear with a golden rod is hollow with stenciling of a griffin winding around it; the rod measures about six feet. The end of the spear resembles a six pointed crown. The points are 10 inches long and are extremely sharp. They can easily impale foes.
Special abilities: when he strikes at an opponent who is slightly out of reach he can impale them with a secret blade that is hidden in the hollow shaft; the blade is twenty inches long and can be released by flicking the rod or through a secret switch on it.
Kontan Fe-zu Ni (spirit phase two): Alatus Corona Sceptrum (Winged Crown Scepter) Prinzu’s guard breaks apart falling to the side of his Kodachi and resembling the golden wings of a gryphon. In his second phase, Prinzu shoots out golden swords made of condensed reiatsu from the mouth of the gryphon. He must have a high enough reiatsu count to generate these swords.

Name: Kuma Ohyama
Height: 6’8’’
Weight: 425 pounds
Race: soul merchant
Birthday: August 19th
Age: 90 (estimated)
Appearance: Kuma is extremely muscular and tall, with a short, brown flattop and a chiseled face; Overall, Kuma has a very intimidating appearance. His skin is dark tan and has deep brown eyes. Kuma often has stubble because he dislikes shaving. Kuma has a tattoo on his shoulder of a bomb.
Personality: Kuma is very concerned about his body and how much exercise he gets. Constantly drinking protein shakes and eating healthy foods. Kuma is strong minded and hardly ever fails at changing his plans.
Previous occupation: He has had many, but notably he lived in a mining community.
Occupation: Soul Merchant commander 13, personal trainer and body builder
Favorite food: protein shakes (despite the fact that it grosses everyone out because he puts living fish inside the blender when he makes them), egg whites, and cuts of meat.
Likes: working out, flexing his muscles, collecting WW1 and WW2 Blanket pins, wars (he often watches documentaries on the subject), camping, hiking, sports, exercise, strenuous mind and body training, martial arts ,kickboxing, strong people, his friends, Sunday and Masami (though he will never admit it)
Dislikes: Not getting to work out, being sick, seeing men who are more tone and muscular then he is (though this is hardly ever but he once spent three days depressed in his room because of it), driving with Rosita, Masami’s cruelness, being called fat due to his extremely muscular physique and abnormal bulk, his severe motion sickness (in which he takes pills for often), when his favorite teams loose, people changing the channel when he’s watching war films and documentaries or body building tournaments, loosing (especially at body building tournaments), and soybean paste soup

Seirei fi-da: Ma Suji (pure muscle)
Kontan Fe-zu Ichi (spirit phase one): unlike common Seirei fi-da Kuma’s has no release phrase or a solid form prior to release.
Special abilities: Kuma’s body absorbs high amounts of reiatsu and grows, giving him drastically increased strength, endurance, and stamina, all of which are already naturally phenomenal. He can release concussive blast of reiatsu with kicks and punches.
Kontan Fe-zu Ni (spirit phase two): Ma Ki Suji (pure raw muscle):
His body mass increases exponentially, his shoulders and muscles become large mounds of flesh forming what appears to be volcanoes on his arms, the fizzle and explode with huge steaming blast of reiatsu which can be released into powerful projectiles that can easily blow a hole through a mountain.

Apperance: Masami is considered to be extremely beautiful and elegant which some claim is balanced out by her cruel, self conceited personality. Kontan Fe-zu Ichi (spirit phase one): Mibae Kagami kaisou (vanity mirror reflection) The same mirror when sealed, her Seirei fi-da apparently doesn’t like its sealed form, it has the ability to reflect physical or spiritual attacks through the mirrors reflective surface, a Zanpakuto can phase through it directly as well as attacks from a zanpakuto, and this ability allows her to send attacks at her foes with 2x times the force. She can also reveal the person of her choosing by projecting her thoughts through it and an attack will strike them rather than her. Her mirror can trace spiritual energy like a kido tracking spell and is said to show someone their true nature, much like a mermaid in mythology.
Kontan Fe-zu Ni (spirit phase two): Mibae Kagami kaisou (vanity mirror reflection): her second spirit phase reverts into a world of floating mirrors that trap her and in opponent; from the outside it would appear like a giant reflective ball of glass, and functions by reflecting whatever strikes it with 10x the force, within is a reflective world, Misami can phase through these mirrors to attack her opponent with reflections of herself and heal wounds if she has enough reiatsu, she can shatter the mirrors from the inside to slash foes and much like the first phrase when an opponent strikes a mirrored wall or a facet it’s absorbed and sent back, but this time the opponent never knows from what direction, making it very deadly and unpredictable. It also retains the image effect causing whoever she chooses image in the mirror allowing them to take the damage of an incoming attack while she is safe. Some attacks are capable of shattering the mirrors especially when her reiatsu is weak. She has a blade in this form decorated with etched mermaids and a mirror like blade that reflects her attacks in the mirror so mirror clones can attack her foes from all sides, it can phase with her through the mirrors.
Kontan Fe-zu San (Spirit phase three): shin'en Mibae Kagami kaisou (deep vanity mirror reflection): She is said to have one but it’s quite unstable at that moment, but it enables her entire body to become glass like and absorb all attacks directed at her, she can send these attacks back with 3x the force and send beams of refracted light off of her body. These beams are like ceros and are extremely powerful. Her body is fragile and can be shattered with enough force but regroups over time or she can use the absorbed energies or her own reiatsu which is risky since she needs high percent of it to maintain this form to heal shattered limbs. However she, does feel pain and is often weakened when her limbs are shattered.

Soul merchants are like soul reapers..they can possess up to four phases of the Seirei Fi-da or soul feeder..devouring souls makes them stronger..Seirei fi-da are similar to Zanpakuto...What exactly would you like me to adress for you, randomfan13?

1. One becomes a soul merchant by being stabed by a pure breed's seirei fi-da...pure breeds had solid seirei fi-da long before those who were changed did.
2. 30 on each. They are ranked in power of command (not power). There are ten -10, One Zero (or supreme commander), and 20 under the supreme ruler.
3. Perhaps, that would be cool. Hope this helps.

History/Personality: When he was young, Ongaku was a very musical child. He learned almost every instrument with extreme ease (woodwinds that is). He only really liked playing solo music and not for anyone but those he loved. One day while playing his favorite, the ocarina, a hollow attacked his family, but only scratched him. He noticed changes in how people reacted to his music. He could also see soul reapers and hollows and such. It was explained to him by a passing soul reaper that he had extremely high spirit pressure for just a human. However, when he met another soul merchant he realized that is what he is.
Appearance: Red eyes, red and black hair, always wears a cloak that covers him mostly. See picture
Personality: Despite the looks, he is actually a very friendly and caring and compassionate about his friends, but could not care less about others. He likes to be alone and play music on ocarina.

Seirei Fi-da:
name: Ongaku hōkai (musical decay)
this is actually the instrument he is always playing but the effects as a seirei fa-da only occur when he means it to. It is a jet black ocarina (picture in next post), but it has red designs all over it like the thing in the guys hands.

Four phases:
1. Song of lure:
The tune he plays for this part is around 2 minutes long. It is a sweet song that attracts the target and urges them to move towards him
2. Song of the trance: This song is about 3 minutes long. At the end of it, the target is in a state in which they cannot move their body for 5 minutes. This song is slow and sonorous
3. Song of decay: This song is around 3.5 minutes. Throughout that 3.5 minutes, the reishi of the target is drained into the ocarina. This song is medium speed and very ominous and dark
4. Song of devour/finale: This song is 1.5 minutes long and very fast and exciting. During this song, the reishi is transferred from the ocarina into him. Since all of the reishi no longer has ties to the body, the target disintegrates into nothing

I love Shuuyo Nitasa's quirky and excitable personality and I feel he would work well with the exisitng characters, mind you there are so many I haven't posted them all...Ulquiorra1313 I love your character but I do have some questions...I think you made him a little underpowered..it takes such a long time to get through a song..it's fine if the effects are activated as soon as he begins but if there is a time limit before it does he may be in trouble...I love how developed both he and his seirei fi-da are...was he trained by a soul reaper because it says he is trained in kido..Soul merchants use soul magic..I haven't made all the spells but it isn't the same as kido though they can peform it if taught...He should know both because many defected soul reapers can become soul merchants...i love these characters oh and please make more if you want or invite others lol

I did not know there was a difference so i would say he used to be a soul reaper but became a soul merchant (i will post the soul reaper later) :). And i suppose the time limits were set so that if someone took him on during a song, they could save the person but i think now that the time limits will be longer like 10 minutes unable to move and the song is basically irresistible :) after seeing that epic fight on the zanpakuto post, i was not sure i wanted to make anything overpowered lol :)

Oh as another addition, once he is 1 minute into the song he is invincible for the remainder of the song so that he can compete it :)

Apperance: Appears as a normal katana, with six short ribbons hanging from its hilt, each one is made of a shining fabric that appears like a mirror. These ribbons have no real effect on the blades Seirei fi-da powers.
Kontan Fe-zu Ichi (spirit phase one): Seisatsu absorbs the spiritual energy placed behind every attack that it blocks, completely removing all strength from the blow. This means the attack can then be pushed aside with little effort from the wielder. It can also absorb low level kido and weak energy based attacks. The spiritual energy absorbed from the attacks can be channeled into different offensive options such as beams of energy fired from the blade, or a boosted up strike from the blade itself, however, in its shikai form it has a limit on the amount of spiritual energy it can hold. Its final key ability is to channel the energy from a strike directly into a counter attack, or short distance teleportation, the instant the attack connects, instead of storing the energy.
Kontan Fe-zu Ni (spirit phase two): Seisatsu Hirameki (Reflection flash) His Seirei fi-da becomes dual bladed, one both blades have one long thick ribbon but one hilt is silver while the other is gold. The ribbons wrap firmly around his arms while they grasp on to his blades like hands. The ribbons on about fifteen feet and can move in unpredictable angles. When his blades clash with others it removes the energy placed by every attack. He can channel this residual energy into an energy shield through the silver blade and blades of condensed energy through the gold one. He can release the built up energy into a special attack by cutting the ribbons which hold all the fibers of spiritual pressure he absorbs, releasing a huge blast of reiatsu that has the strength equal to that of a Grand Rey Cero.

Kontan Fe-zu Ichi (spirit phase one): Macaluso’s Seirei Fi-da manifests an eight foot Bunsen burner that shoots spiritual flames up to 10 feet. These flames can cause permanent damage to the opponent’s soul. They are a deep red color and can be used as blast or shields.
Kontan Fe-zu Ni (spirit phase two): Yakekoge Ni Hotto Ba-Na (Scorching Red Hot Burner): Macaluso’s wears black light goggles, lab coat, and gloves. He has a tube of magnesium gas on his back and his Seirei fi-da manifests as a huge snapping lighter (like the ones used in modern day labs). Once his Seirei Fi-da touches the gas it explodes, he can manipulate the flames into shapes or cause them to explode at close range (although, due to the impact of his Seirei fi-da he often takes minimal damage).

Shikai: a slightly longer needle that is said to be the smallest among all Shikai and its appearance is quite awkward and weak looking, especially when confronting a foe.
Special abilities: While it may seem an unconventional weapon, this is merely meant to surprise and throw the opponent off guard, because it looks pitifully feeble and they aren’t sure as to go about clashing with it due to its small size. Her shikai’s primary ability is to control the movements of others, by striking opponents’ limbs, they aren’t able to freely move anymore and she gains control over that particular area of their body. Her shikai is also able to utilize reiatsu into condensed threads that leave moderate wounds along the obstacle or opponent she attacks:

Kontan Fe-zu Ichi (spirit phase one): serrated threads on the tip of her fingers, they are able to control foes from a range of a one hundred feet max; they still maintain their normal thought processes but are unable to act themselves. She can use kido, fighting skills, and her own specified abilities through each puppet she makes, she can control up to ten people simultaneously; if she tries to subject anyone else to her Seirei fi-da her reiatsu drastically decreases. With enough will power these invisible strings can be severed or perhaps by the energy of a powerful reiatsu.
