As the last bell rings, I try to walk casually down the hall knowing that every step I took feels like 100 pounds where added. I look around the hall trying to find something, something in my heart that’s yearning for something for so long... I find Uryu next to the lockers putting his stuff in. I ignore the pain in my heart to keep searching and run up to Uryu.
"Uryu, Uryu!!!" I yelled. Uryu jolted up dropping his school books. "Jeez, Orihime don’t scare me like that."
"Sorry Uryu, I was just wondering..." I took my eyes away from his face and took a deep breath, " w-why is Ulquiorra here?" The last part was nearly a whisper. My heart skipped a beat as Ulquiorra's name escaped from my lips. Feeling a deep yearning for him, so deep that i just want to run up to Ulquiorra and wrap my arms around his warm body and never let go, for eternity.
Uryu flashed a troubled expression, but instantly turned into fury. "I don't know Orihime. Right now, Ichigo is talking to Urahada about this, but if the time comes, or if he has any motive to take you away again, I'll kill him and make sure he never faces us again!" Uryu growled and swore under his breath. My eyes grew wide with shock, my thoughts comes out from dreamland and soon changed into a nightmare. One that i know i can't run away from, and will probably soon come true.
I tried to speak pass the lump from my throat but nothing would come out. For if i ever spoke into his defense i would soon be a traitor to my loving friends. I kept my mouth shut.
Uryu placed his hand in reassurance, "It’s ok Orihime, I won't let him touch you, I'll protect you." I looked up to him and was about to tell him I was fine, until Ichigo and Chad came up.
"Have you've seen him, yet?" Ichigo asked us. We shook our heads. Ichigo thought awhile and looked up at me, "Orihime don't worry we'll protect you." Ichigo smiled at me but i nodded it off. “I called Urahada and told him what was happening. He told me that he felt a strong spiritual pressure at the park yesterday night, and said that he wants us to investigate it. But for now we can't take any necessary action; and for us to be ready if anything comes up. So for now we have to keep an eye on that espada." Somehow I really didn’t like how Ichigo described him.
"Me, Renji, and Rukia will investigate the park where the spiritual pressure came from, while Uryu and Chad take care of Orihime," he looks at Uryu for awhile, "were counting on you."
Uryu closed his eyes and shook his head, "Who do you think you’re talking too? You’re pretty stupid for a soul reaper."
Ichigo turned red with anger, "I’m just saying that while your playing with your dolls you should take care of Orihime!"
"Dolls!? I just sew them together, like your doll, Kon!"
"I’m just saying that if you’re going to have a tea party with your dolls you should ask Orihime to join you."
As Chad try to break them up, I step back and back until I reach a corner and break for a sprint. As much as I didn’t want them to worry about me leaving, it’s just I really didn't want them to protect me. It’s a sign how weak I am and I finally want to prove them wrong, I can look after myself! I don’t want them to think I’m weak and useless. I hate being in the sidelines and only getting in the way as they fight. No, this time I want to protect you, Ichigo, Uryu, Chad, and even Renji and Rukia. This time I’ll protect you...
I look back to see if they figured out I wasn’t there until I hit something, that made me fall hard onto the ground. I wince at the pain on my tail bone and tried rubbing it off when I look up to see my victim. Everything stopped when I figured out who it was. My eyes grows wide, my skin draining color, and my heart pounding so hard that everyone around me can probably hear. His green eyes rake over me, his expressionless face saying these words that always made go numb before, "Stupid, girl."
I felt my cheeks fill with such overwhelming tingle and heat as those words passes his glossy lips. I tried to hold on to those words as long as I can. Remembering everything, back when I gotten kidnapped by him till that fateful day he turned to ash. I felt my eyes grew watery, and was forced to bring the tears back in behind my eyelids. Although I’m no idiot to know what this feeling is, its just hard to admit, that im in love with Ulquiorra.
My heart was filled with such yearning and excitement that I know it is true.
Ulquiorra glared at me with his perfection green eyes and said, "Honestly, are you just going to gawk at me all day?" I stood still feeling way over 200 pounds to get up. "Stupid women," before turning around and walking away.
Before I know it I'm up on my feet and yelling, "Wait!!!" He stops on his tracks and turns to me. I don't know what to say next, I don't even remember how i got on my feet! I cleared my throat and nervously said, "A-aren't you here to take me away or something?" I gulped, as my word sunken in.
Instead of answering my question like i expect him too, he just stands there and glares at me. He takes a deep breath and finally replies, "What are you talking about, girl? I've never meet you before and if I did, why would I kidnap a foolish girl like you?" Before turning around and walking away.
