Brightstar wobbled up on the Tall Rock, still sore from that last battle with ColdClan, and called to her Clan, "Let all cats of BlazeClan gather here beneath the Tall Rock for a Clan meeting!" She watched as everyone in the camp gathered in the clearing in the middle of the camp. If only ColdClan never showed up. Why would they even attack us in the first place? she sighed.

The Clan got settled down, looking up hopefully at their leader. “Dearest Clan mates, I have some news. I decided to go talk to Moonshine one last time, before this whole battle.” There were gasps from the cats in the clearing.

“You mean, you went there WITHOUT an escort? You could’ve gotten yourself hurt for trespassing on their territory!” Blossomstorm meowed. Blossomstorm was a good sister to Brightstar, but sometimes, she worried too much for Brightstar. She had to learn that Brightstar has several lives, and she knew what she was doing, especially who she was about to visit next.

“I’m not injured or anything. I went alone because I thought that if I brought a warrior, then they would think that I was going to threaten them. But, Moonshine and I are now at peace. We both have the same prophecy, both Clans, and we believe that it involves possibly all four Clans here. We have both agreed that, I’ll talk to Stonespirit, and she will talk to Watersoul. I am going out to EarthClan at dawn with the dawn patrol.

“On the upside, we welcome three new warriors.” Brightstar indicated Flutterpaw, Winterpaw, and Berrypaw to step forward. “Tidepool, Slushtail, Dawnshadow, do you all believe that your apprentices has learned what it takes to become a full warrior?” All three warriors nodded. “Then, by the powers of ShinningStars, I give these three apprentices their warrior names!” She looked down at Flutterpaw first. “Flutterpaw, from this day forward, you shall be known as Flutterwing for your gentleness and kindness to the whole Clan.” She touched her nose to the top of Flutterwing’s head, and turned to Winterpaw. “Winterpaw, from this day forward, you shall be known as Winterfrost for your nobility and yet, braveness.” She did the same thing she did for Flutterwing, and turned to her daughter, Berrypaw. “Finally, Berrypaw, from this day forward, you shall be known as Berrystorm for being independent and strong.”

“Flutterwing! Winterfrost! Berrystorm!” the Clan cheered the new warriors’ names, and the three warriors jumped off the Tall Rock.

The Clan started to get up and depart, but Brightstar continued, “With new warriors, comes a new apprentice. Firekit is six moons old now, and is ready to be given her mentor.” She looked at the crowd of cats, making sure that her choice of mentor was there. “Goldenclaw, you have been taught well by your mentor, Sleekfoot, and I believe that you will teach your new apprentice your skills. Firekit, from this day forward, until you have received your warrior name, you shall be known as Firepaw. Goldenclaw will be your mentor.” Goldenclaw touched noses with Firepaw to welcome his new apprentice.

Brightstar wasn’t finished yet, “If ColdClan comes back, we will have AirClan by our side, and hopefully the other two Clans. They will not get away with this too easily. We are a strong Clan, stronger than them. We will stand and fight them if that is what they wish. At dawn, when the dawn patrol goes to the AirClan border, they will try to run into an AirClan patrol, and ask for their alliance. Berrystorm, Flutterwing, Fernflower, and I will be on that patrol. I will leave the patrol at the EarthClan border.” She flicked her tail, and the meeting was over.
