Unfortunately not so recently antelopes fall prey to human Swines poaching them in the early Soviet years. Close to the Sengel Lake near Wolf's Gate ( Nazi Army built this bridge) still live wolves related to those ancient ones. Soviet archeologists found a missing link between the modern elephant and mammoth and my Art College teacher ( Tamara's father Budnikov's second wife) Irina was a part of the History Museum, she, though, was involved in drawing ancient pottery found around the same site which belonged to Early European human migrations:
