HMS Révolutionnaire, captured by Artois:21 October 1794
Artois was in Edward Pellew's squadron of Artois, Arethusa, Diamond,& Galatea, They chanced upon the 44-gun frigate La Révolutionnaire off Ushant. and chased her; the superior sailing qualities of Artois allowed her to get ahead and come up to La Révolutionnaire The squadron then cut La Révolutionnaire
The two frigates fought an engagement of forty minutes in which eight Frenchmen and three Britons were killed, Diamond came up behind La Révolutionnaire, threatening her stern.but La Révolutionnaire 'struck her colours" and surrendered...

That is of Sir David Attenborough interest. The Sengel Lake was a part of Adriatic Sea in the past times where ranosaurers and elephants run. Unfortunately not so recently antelopes fall prey to human Swines poaching them in the early Soviet years. Close to the Sengel Lake near Wolf's Gate ( Nazi Army built this bridge) still live wolves related to those ancient ones. Soviet archeologists found a missing link between the modern elephant and mammoth and my Art College teacher ( Tamara's father Budnikov's second wife) Irina was a part of the History Museum, she, though, was involved in drawing ancient pottery found around the same site which belonged to Early European human migrations:
