In the end, India beauty sings a farewell song full of sorrow because her love has to leave – the song is about a flowering lotus at night in a dark pond. India Beauty sings one and the same song (different words about the same lotus waiting for a real sun which never comes, the plant lives in the eternal night) until one day she hears that her love had returned for her and she rides on horseback to the port to meet him...
