Three full days passed after that fateful encounter, and the little note Yoshi had left for me remained tucked away inside my Purse . I certainly wasn’t following any rule on how many days to wait before calling a guy; rather, I was feeling pretty terrible about calling him at ALL, given my still VERY freshly single status. My ex-boyfriend hadn’t even moved out of our house yet, and although I remained fully aware of that note and secretly wanted to call the number on it, I refrained. It just seemed so wrong to be having thoughts about another guy so soon.



Then, on the afternoon of the fourth...

Night fell over Mario Stadium.
And a frustrated Yoshi slumped himself on one of benches by the practice courts. He was all alone, desperate to find a partner so he can compete the doubles tournament. He looked down on his shoes and thought to himself about the dire situation he was in, 'If I can't find myself a partner, I'll have to play singles. I know don't want play alone, I want to play with somebody on my side. But who?'

Meanwhile, Birdo had just entered the practice courts. She too, was struggling to find a doubles partner after Daisy ditched her in favour...

This marks the last chapter of the whole fanfiction. Like I said before, this one is very funny. Feel free to laugh at anything in this story you find funny. Let's start the conclusion, shall we?
