Hi, everyone. I found this series of questions. They're supposed to be for your best friend, but I found them so interesting, I thought I'd answer them myself. It'll give you all a chance to know me better. Layla, I'm curious to see how you answer these. As for the rest of you, feel free to answer them, too.

1. What embarrasses you the most and/or what’s been your most embarrassing moment? My sister talking about disgusting things at the dinner table embarrasses me the most. Of course, my most embarrassing moment would have to be the time I fell on the track behind the elementary school in...

Hi, everyone. I'm feeling the need to vent again. I'm feeling sad and broken. It doesn't help that we're still in March.

March is not a good month for me. A lot of tragedies happened in March, including the death of my paternal grandfather and almost losing my mom to myocarditis. There was only one good thing that came out of March. That was my dog, Peanut Butter.

Peanut Butter was my four-legged best friend. It's been nine months, and I still miss him every day. He was the only good thing that came out of March. He was born on March 17, 2004. He passed away during the early morning hours of...

Hi, everyone. I decided to share my life story. Some of this might make you cry, so be sure to have a box of tissues ready. Here it goes.

I was born on May 23, 1996. I was the second born. My sister and I are a little over four and a half years apart. My mom actually lost a baby in between the two of us. It was a tubal pregnancy, which means that the baby was developing inside the tube instead of the uterus. As a result, the doctor had to take the baby. Since it was too early to tell the gender, my mom imagines it was a boy. Anyway, I was a relatively quiet baby and seldom fussed.

As I grew,...

Hello, everyone. I thought that I would write an appreciation article for my good friends. Here it goes.

Thank you, Layla for being there when I needed a shoulder to cry on. Last year was a year of ups and downs, and the ups didn't outweigh the downs. You were there through it all. You were my rock. You held me up when I was standing on weak knees. I remember when we first met. I was the only one who was active on the Beatles fan club. I began to feel that I was the only one in my age group who cared about the Beatles. I was starting to lose hope, about to drown in hopelessness. You came along...

Hey, everyone. I'm going to start this off by saying that I am okay. I'm just having a hard time, and I need to get it off my chest to help me feel better. Here it goes.

The other day, my dad was watching the news, and as I was
eating dinner with my mom, he told us, "One of the Monkees died." I was in shock and said, "What?!" He told me again. I asked him, "Which one?" He told me, "I believe it was Tork." I said, "Peter Tork?" My dad said, "Yeah." I am deeply saddened by this. Peter was my favorite. He was so funny. He got really into it while playing bass. I cannot listen to the Monkees now....

I know you think
You're someone I forgot.
But I haven't forgotten.
I could never forget you.
I'll never forget your smile.
I never saw you without it.
I still miss you every day.
I'm sorry I took you for granted.
I hope you can forgive me.
If I could do it all again,
I wouldn't have taken you for granted.
I wouldn't have overlooked you.
I would've been a better friend.
I blamed your parents for their negligence,
But blaming them won't bring you back.
The reason I hate guns is your demise.
The reason I never take friends for granted,
That's also the loss of you.

Both Paul and Kelly did this questionnaire, and Paul suggested that I do one in memory of Peanut Butter, similar to how Kelly did hers in memory of her dog, Yardie. Here it goes.

1. What was your pet's name? My pet's name was Peanut Butter.

2. What kind of pet was it and what breed? Peanut Butter was a dog, and he was a Collie, specifically a Rough Collie.

3. How long did you have your pet? I had Peanut Butter from May 21, 2004 to May 7, 2018, so I almost had him for fourteen years.

4. How did you get your pet? My parents got Peanut Butter for me as an early eighth birthday present.

5. How old was...

When Lydia arrived at her house, John, Pattie, Rebecca, Catherine, Marie, and Gavin were waiting anxiously. Pattie asked, "How did it go?" Lydia said, "I'm starting a new job on Monday!" Rebecca said, "That's great!" Catherine said, "I'm so happy for you!" Marie said, "I'm glad you found a new job!" Gavin said, "I knew that you would!" Pattie said, "I had faith in you, Lydia." John said, "Let's celebrate!" They all went out for dinner. The server asked them, "Are you celebrating anything tonight?" Lydia said, "I'm starting a new job." The server said, "Awesome!" After placing their orders,...

This article is a special request from Kayla. So, here I go.

I know you've been feeling down recently, and that this Valentine's Day is going to be more painful for you. Your life hasn't always been easy, and I'm really sorry for everything you've been through.

However, I just would like to remind you that you are never alone. The friends that you've made here care deeply about you, and we're always ready to support you. If the clouds get dark, I'm here to help you find the silver lining.

I admire that, despite all of the bad things that happened, you never became bitter. No matter what other people say, you are wonderful just the way you are. Remember that you are loved forever!

Also, remember the lyrics to one of my all-time favorite Beatles songs: "Any time at all, all you gotta do is call, and I'll be there."

Peace and love

The next day, Lydia was at another veterinary clinic to look for a new job. The receptionist told her to wait where she was. Lydia sat and waited. While she was waiting, she noticed someone crying. She asked, "Are you okay?" The younger woman said, "I just had to have my dog put to sleep." Lydia said, "I'm sorry to hear that." The younger woman said, "I'll never be happy again." Lydia said, "That's just the grief talking." The younger woman asked, "How do you know?" Lydia said, "When my dog, Fluffer Nutter, passed away, I thought I would never be happy again, but things got better with time."...

The next day after breakfast, Lydia went out to look for a job at the local rescue shelter. The owner of the shelter said, "I'm sorry. We're not hiring anyone right now." Lydia said, "Okay. Well, thanks anyway." The owner of the shelter said, "Good luck in finding a new job." Lydia looked for jobs at other places she thought she would enjoy, but she didn't have any luck. At lunch time, Lydia decided to meet John and the others for lunch. She told them the bad news. Catherine said, "I'm sorry your job search was unsuccessful." Gavin said, "I'm sorry, too." Marie said, "I'm sure you'll find something....

The next morning, Lydia got up and joined John for breakfast. John did most of the talking, which usually didn't happen. He asked, "Lydia, are you feeling all right, darling?" She said, "No. I didn't sleep well last night." He said, "I'm sorry." She said, "I still feel down about losing my job. I enjoyed it before my boss turned so mean and nasty." John put a hand on Lydia's shoulder. He said, "You'll find a new job that you love just as much, maybe even more. It will be all right with time. You'll see." Later, when Lydia was taking a nap, she heard a knock on the door. She got up to see who...

One day, as Lydia was working, minding her own business, her boss came up to her and started yelling at her for no reason at all. She said to him, "Listen here. I don't know who pissed in your Cheerios, but that's no reason to take it out on me. I didn't do anything to you!" He said, "Well, I feel like yelling, and you're here, so guess what!" She threw a quarter at him and said, "Here's a quarter! Call someone who cares!" He said, "You're fired!" She put on Foxy's lead, and as she headed out the door, she said, "Goodbye, monkey's butt, and those are the last words you're going to hear from...
