The next evening, after they returned home from their jobs, Lydia and John listened to Pattie's new album. Afterwards, Lydia talked with Pattie. Pattie asked, "Have you listened to my new album yet?" Lydia said, "Yes, we just finished listening to it." Pattie asked, "How did you like it?" Lydia said, "It was really good. I think Foxy enjoyed it, too." Pattie said, "I'm glad to hear it." Just then, Lydia's cellphone rang. It was her father. She said, "I'll let you talk to John a minute. My father is calling." She went into her bedroom to talk privately. Her father explained, "Your grandmother is in the hospital, and it's not looking good. She has pneumonia in both lungs." Lydia said, "Oh, no. This is the beginning of the end, isn't it?" He said, "Yep, I'm afraid so." She said, "Elderly people usually don't survive pneumonia." He said, "They don't." She said, "Well, I'm going to go. Keep me posted." He said, "Okay." She returned to the living room, and John was still talking to Pattie. John noticed Lydia looking sad. He asked, "Is everything all right?" She said, "No." Pattie asked, "What's wrong?" Lydia said, "My paternal grandmother is in the hospital. She has pneumonia in both lungs." Pattie said, "Oh, no. I'm sorry to hear that." Lydia said, "I don't think it'll be much longer." She later told the rest of her friends about it. Rebecca asked, "Is there anything I can do?" Lydia said, "Just keep talking to me, and I'll be just fine." Marie said, "Don't worry, Lydia. We're here for you." Catherine said, "Plan on us coming to see you." Gavin said, "Yes, please do." Lydia said, "You all don't have to do that." Gavin said, "We're your friends. It's our duty to be there for you." She said, "You're all so kind. I appreciate it." That night, Lydia snuggled with her beloved puppy, Foxy, and cried herself to sleep.

Hi, everyone. I am feeling the need to vent again. I know it seems like I have vented more than anyone else around here, but I can't feel better if I don't get it off my chest.

The quarantine has been hard on me. I understand that it was put in place for the safety of the people, but I miss being able to go places without having to worry about the potential of catching the Coronavirus. I know I am not at high risk, but I still don't want to get sick. What sane person wants to get sick? Also, I could give it to my parents who are at high risk.

Unfortunately, that's not the worst part. I feel like...

Black and Tan
Black and Tan
Many people don't know that German Shepherds can come in a variety of different coat colors. That's what makes them so unique. Max von Stephanitz, the founder of the German Shepherd said, "No good dog is a bad color." That would be the truth. Once again, I will include pictures. All information is from German Shepherd Country

1. Black and Tan/Black and Red
Most German Shepherd Dogs are black and tan or black and red in color. Tan and red are essentially the same color, but red is a darker pigment. It's especially prominent in German show lines. The tan can also be a light silvery color. This...

West German Show Line
West German Show Line
Most people don't realize that there are different types of German Shepherds. They're all the same breed. They're just different lines, and they were all bred for different things. There are several lines around the world, but there are five basic kinds. I will include pictures. All information is from German Shepherd Guide and German Shepherd Man on YouTube.

1. West German Show Line
This line is the most popular line in Germany. They were bred to conform to certain standards which require them to have health clearances for hips and elbows and a working title in order to be bred. They have a...

This is a special request from Kayla. I'm sorry about what you've been going through recently. I understand how you're feeling right now, as I miss doing my usual daily schedule too. It sucks, honestly.

However, I just want to remind you once again that I and the rest of your Fanpop friends are here for you, no matter what. I know this virus will not last forever and that we'll eventually overcome this. Like all good things, all bad things must come to an end.

And as the saying goes, "There's a light at the end of the tunnel." Remember that!

Peace and love,
~Kelly 🌟🌟🌟

As you all know, I got a new dog. His name is Hansel. He is a black German Shepherd Dog. I got him over two weeks ago. He does get rough with his biting and nipping, but he doesn't bite and nip to be mean. He's just playing. Overall, he's a good puppy. His training is going very well. Anyway, here is the story of Hansel.

Hansel was born on September 8, 2019 in the Southeastern portion of Tennessee, just northeast (I think) of the city of Chattanooga. He was born to a black long-haired German Shepherd named Judge and a black and red short-haired German Shepherd named Octavia. I didn't actually...

Hi, everyone. I made a couple of mistakes in information. Here, I am going to correct them.

First of all, Bingo, my first Collie, did not come from a backyard breeder after all. The breeder genuinely cared for the well-being of the puppies and who they went home with. They had veterinary records, and the parents were registered. They retired after Bingo and his siblings were born. They were four years old. Bingo was a working line Collie. This explains why he had such good genetics and why he didn't look anything like a show line Collie. It also explains why he lived longer than Peanut Butter....

My dearest friends,
I need some shoulders to cry on.
I know it's one AM.
Still, I need to talk to someone.
Until you came along,
Outside my immediate family,
I've mostly known unrequited love.
Real love's hard to come by so,
You learn to live life without it.
I do not know why I even try,
With my maternal grandmother.
In her eyes, I'll never live up,
To my maternal uncle's daughters.
She always favored them,
Yet she doubts me behind my back.
I may have limitations,
But resourcefulness ain't something I lack.
I may only have a few friends,
But I'm better off than he who has many,
Yet never hears from any.
I'll...

Hi, everyone. Kelly created her own set of questions and answers, and I decided to answer those questions as well. Let's get started, shall we?

1. What's your favorite clothing accessory? For me, that would be bracelets. I don't wear them as much now as I did when I was a teenager, but I do enjoy wearing them.

2. How do you like your coffee? I like coffee that doesn't taste like coffee. I have a fondness for mochas.

3. Do you love nostalgia? Definitely.

4. What's your favorite milkshake flavor? Chocolate/peanut butter.

5. If you were a dog, what breed would you be? I would be a Gerberian Shepsky,...
